Filler: That Dammed Slime

NOTICE: The following chapter will be diving back into the beginning of Ethernal Horizon so I guess you could say it's a filler chapter. Though it is a filler chapter I do recommend reading because of a piece of plot that will be throughout the rest of this story. Enjoy!

How the hell does Kazuma put up with this? Ever since I resurrected in Axel I've been in a team with Aqua and Darkness, but I never knew how bad Kazuma actually had it. I've explained before about how Aqua is a crappy goddess and how Darkness is kinky right? Good. I will say since Aqua and Darkness are hard to be around it gives me an opportunity to explore the town a bit more. After reuniting with Blake and her new friends I decided to keep an eye out for people who had a strong aura to them. For those of you who don't know a strong aura in places other than Remnant are how you tell the power level of that person, and I think I might have ran into someone with an aura greater than mine. I think I ran into a monster.

Blake and I decided to check out what the people of Axel we're like. After a few hours of roaming Blake asked me if there were any shops around the area so immediately I thought of Wiz's shop. Once I explained what the shop was she seemed to be pretty interested so we decided to head to Wiz's shop. Wiz is this really sweet girl who used to be one of the Devil King's top generals so she already possesses immense power, but today something was different. When arriving at Wiz's shop I felt a powerful aura surrounding the outside of the shop. Whoever was causing this could potentially be dangerous. I told Blake to stay back and poked my head into the window, there I noticed a girl with silver-blue hair. What really put me on edge was this chick had two other people with her, and I think one was a demon.

"Did you want to know what they are saying?" Blake asked quietly.

"You can do that?" I looked at her.

"Well these cat ears aren't for show." Blake places her ear up against the glass and held out her hand. I had recently learned a new trick where if someone can hear at a higher frequency or see farther all I have to do is touch them and I can hear/see what they hear/see. I grab Blake's hand and listen closely.

"So do you know if there is anyone else from another world who resurrected here?" The girl said.

"Well there is someone I know and I think you two would get along just fine uh... I don't think I got your name." Wiz asked politely.

"Oh my name is Rimuru Tempest and I'm a slime from another world."

Did she just say that she's a slime?

A few minutes later I walked through the door trying to keep my cool. Though Rimuru was a slime she had such a... Wait a second..... Rimuru is a dude!? Hold on a just one second! Why does he look like a cute girl? Anyways, Rimuru has a very powerful aura so if I pissed him off I could be toast.

"Rikka I was just talking about you to Rimuru." Wiz smiled.

"Apparently you are also an other worlder?" Rimuru questioned.

"Yes that's right I'm from Japan." After saying the word Japan Rimuru's face lit up.

"Something tells me you're from Japan." Rimuru nods in conformation.

"I used to be an office money named Satoru Mikami, but died by being stabbed to death so I was resurrected as a slime in a different world. The human form you see is courtesy of a friend. Sorry I'm talking so much I'm not used to meeting nice people from Japan. So if I may ask what's your story?"

Okay that's a lot to take in, I mean come on the guy freaking got stabbed. Now that I think about it our stories aren't to different in a sense. Time to blow him away. My eye starts to glow a bright yellow as I pull off my eye patch.

"My name is Rikka Takanashi and I..."

"Wait you're the Rikka Takanashi? The one who's chunibyo became reality?" Wait he knows who I am?

"That is correct." Am I famous or something?

"Do you mind if I ask for your help?"

"Sure what do you need?"

"To get back home." After a few minutes of explaining, Rimuru, said he was split from his friends and some of the bad guys that he fights in his world are here to kill anyone who gets in their way. I am the only person he's met with such a strong aura, so he wants me to help get him back to his world.

Rimuru decided that he wanted to test my skil so he asked for a mock battle. I think that this would be the best way to find out how much I have grown in the battlefield. Thankfully there are many open fields that Rimuru and I can spar in. After choosing the area in which we will hold the battle I asked what Rimuru's limitations and skills are, and to this he just responded "you'll see".

A few hours had passed since I agreed to spar with Rimuru. I was pretty nervous, but excited to see how powerful someone can get. In moments Rimuru and I greeted each other on the battlefield, and prepared for our battle that may or may not destroy half of Axel if we aren't careful.

"I see you decided to show up." Rimuru smirked.

"I wanted to see your strength so don't hold back." I got in my battle stance.

"Ready?" Rimuru asked.

"Fight!" I yelled.

I dashed at Rimuru quickly creating a blade while swinging at him. Before my blade could land, Rimuru created a type of armor deflecting any damage. Rimuru went to launch a projectile at me when my head started filling with a voice.

"You can try your best to beat me Ms. Takanashi, but no matter how many people you meet no one can save you. I will come straight for your heart." I fell onto the ground blacking out. Opening my eyes I notice I'm back at the house.

"Rikka are you okay?" Darkness asks in a concerned manner.

"What happened?" I questioned.

"Rimuru here brought you back after you blacked out for no reason." Aqua stated.

"I'm glad you're alright now, but I should be heading off." Rimuru says his goodbyes and takes his leave. I would have helped him get back but there is one thing that I can't wrap my head around. Why did I sense Salem's aura from a different world?
