This novel is truly a breath of fresh air. It combines a real cultivation world and a virtual one interestingly. A hidden gem in my opinion. I hope more people could review and vote for this great novel ;) Keep up the good work author!

It's a really nice story, nice character development. I hope that the gaming part gets a bit more structure, I would suggest the writer to refer The King's Avatar on writing the gaming side of the story. But I am ready to accept all these little short comings hoping that the writing will get better as the story progresses. To sum it up it's a great work and I recommend everyone to read atleast 30 chapters before dropping this book.

Honestly I kept skipping this book when it cam up on my recommendations. I regret tgat I kept skipping it because this is a really good book. At first the writing was a bit touchy in places, but it got better over time. The story plot is really good as well. I still have not found out what the brother's IGN is yet, and I cant wait. There are times where I think there was too much information overload. For example, seeing all that information on his status. Other than that the story flows really well.

This review is done on the app (disclaimer): Overall this story is better than about 89% of the the stuff the professional writers on this site put out. All I can say is give it a try, if you are on this site any cliche this story uses should not bother you that much.

This is a weird split with martial art and video games. The reason it is weird is that this is mainly a martial arts book with the mc telling of his video game experience (I exaggerate, but it is how it feels). This is very unusual because usually novels will make it the other way around. Don't be fooled by the description, this is not a video game focused book with a martial arts background, martial arts is the focus. As for the book out of the game, it is fairly descent. A bit lacking in describing stages of cultivation, but is more or less fine. The is some evil underground threat looming over that is not really expanded on. The thing I find weird is there seem to only be genius cultivators from the young people and no one older has special talents or abilities and are only strong due to time, but the out of game story is not half bad. As for the video game portion, I will start by saying I usually like video game light novels, but this one seems plain sloppy. Very little detain is given about the game mechanics and the insanely high numbers with no context annoys me. It usually is along the line of: the mc just took 738,000 damage at level 30 and he is fine even though at level 1 he had 1000 hp. There is nothing concrete about the game, except the skills which have a description but have a relatively long cool down (say 20 second) but he uses every attack. I don't know about you, but even I can run 10 meters and attack 3 times in 20 seconds (I would not likely hit but I could do it), but he uses this skill to attack an opponent attacks 3 times, killing the opponent and uses the same skill again immediately after. It really makes the mc feel underwhelming when you think, even a lazy unathletic person like me could do that... What is so special about that.

I normally don't drop novels this fast, but I got too pissed off. I don't know about everyone else, but personally I started this novel partially because I saw that the MC was raised as a killer after being kidnapped by a dark organisation. I normally gravitate to these stories because it means the MC is ruthless and broken which makes for interesting reading (not raised to be assassin, but Supreme Magus is a great example of broken character). But then there is a timeskip and they are now teenagers. These two prodigies, who have grown up competing and sharpening each other every day get bullied by their slightly older sister who we have never had any indication is strong. Very annoying, but I accepted it and chalked it up to a staple of the genre, despite how infuriating it is. But then he gets attacked by a girl, randomly and with no provocation. So what happens. Does this MC who was raised as a weapon until the age of 9 fight back? Does the MC, who had to survive by fighting both male and female kids his own age to survive retaliate? No, he fucking doesn't. He takes it. Then she attacks him again. Is he finally provoked, and pushed to reveal a little of his killer instinct? Hell no. He doesn't like hitting women. Then when she attacks him again and pushes him to fight, and he wins, does he show any kind of ruthlessness? No he politely says goodbye, and says she can find him any time. This, in simple terms is a complete betrayal of who he is as a character, and it's a complete betrayal of the readers who have invested in the character. So dropped.

The poor English at the start was a little off putting, but it gets a lot better very quickly and the story more than makes up for it. Great series and I look forwards to reading it to the end.

Typical Boy kidnapped by Shadow Organization, Trained to be a Killer, then Rescued and Adopted by his Savior. It also has the whole Reluctant Gamer that once he starts he finds Hidden Class and Kicks ass thing going on. That be said it's not a bad read. I Wish for more Constant Updates, but as this story is at this time Free can't really Complain much.

I have read most of the novel but iam done I guess bcz I can't bear a for ed romance at all he first met Alice and they became rival and teammates for the quest and that was all good and I was really liking that idea but then she suddenly disappeared for no apparent reason and then there then introduce cloe and that seems really forced and she even forced him to date her and I really don't like her as a fml bcz that seems to forced I don't know why author have to do something so stupid when he/she was writing the story of shin and Alice so well but I guess that's their choice so Sayonara

So, while the story is mostly enjoyable, I have been having trouble with the mindset of the MC. he was raised as an assassin. From 3 years old. While I don't know what a child assassin mindset would be like...I would assume he was trained to be patient, listen, be aware, take in information before acting, and would generally be colder and more indifferent to people. Unfortunately, while he has his moments of brilliance in planning and fighting, his overall attitude, intelligence, social perception, and thoughtfulness are equivalent to some of the worst Japanese isekai protagonist s I have ever read. In other words...he's dumber than a baked potato. Then there are the side characters...everyone has this laissez faire, forgetful attitude that makes it near impossible to treat all but a few of the characters with any sort of seriousness...no matter their importance or power level. That, and the translation quality make me rate this book lower than it could be.

Kid who was kidnapped at 3 years old, held in terrorist organization hideout and trained brutally for 6 years. Being beaten, forced to train, being brainwashed to be a mindless killer, being thrown into a room with all other kids and told 'last one to survive is free to go' and ends up being the last man standing. After all of this, SWAT raids the hideout and he gets rescued, not only does he have NO trauma, he acts like a grownup while talking with others, he trusts some random man to adopt him, agrees, goes home with the man and after 2 weeks of being there he GETS A FRIEND who is his age. How would a kid with past like that be able to trust anyone, not to mention make a friend? And to top it off, the 'friend' who is martal arts genius, who trained a lot, but only sparred, never had to fight for his life, somehow manages to fight the MC to a tie in a duel? The character design is very, very bad. His background is a massive plothole. No idea why the author would introduce a background like that, only to make the MC 'normal'.

When I saw this novel for the first time I thought, 'this will be an interesting read', and is was, but the English was so terrible that I had to drop the story. This book has many typos, the author has no idea of the concept of past tense, or grammar in general. I had to correct every sentence in my mind just to make this novel a readable one.... Although I haven't read much, this book could have been an excellent one, a shame the author doesn't know how to write.
