CHAPTER THREE: BACK FROM THE ARID MOUNTAIN

Ryu opened his eyes, he saw himself in a hospital with stitches all over. He looked around and he began to tear up. He was back to earth. How many years had it been since he was here. Although he didn't really have good memories here, it was nice to back home. He smiled wryly with tears.

"Am back home hehehe." Immediately, he remembered that he didn't come to earth alone. He came with an ape who was very dangerous. Immediately his aura was released with thick killing intent that made the hospital shake.

"GALDUNA!!!!" His voice sounded like a thunderous roar that echoes throughout the hospital. It pierced the entire hotel.

Immediately some people ran into his room closing their ears. They weren't looking so good as Ryu's aura toppled with his roar did mess up their energy balance within their bodies.

"P...please be calm. This is a hospital..." The lady managed to speak. It was then Ryu remembered that he was in a hospital.

"Am sorry. Sorry for the trouble I just caused. There is an ape I came here with. Where is he?"

"He is the other ward."

Reika's POV

Some hours ago

When we go the report that a dungeon that passed the threshold of an S ranked dungeon gate appeared, everyone panicked. While the other S Class explorers were on their own, I took along with me the available S Class explorers with me and an A Class explorer and went to the sight to see what this gate looked like. Shockingly I saw two creatures that were dropped and the gate, disappearing until it was gone without a trace, like it was never there.

When we went to take a closer look, there was a human and a golden ape. We were all in disarray as we didn't know what to say or do as this had never happened before. A human coming out of a portal. The human looked as if he had gone through a huge war and the ape had a fisted punch mark on his face.

"What....what is this? Is this the S Rank gate that we were panicking about? A human and an ape?" Lee Din, an S Class explorer who was with me asked in a confused tone. I didn't really expect less, I myself was still confused. The human opened his eyes and closed them after some time.

"He is still alive." Jin Kang, the A Class explorer quickly pointed that out.

"Not just him. The Ape is also alive. I can feel it's life force. It's just a little bit low. Whatever it fought was a real monster." I said still looking worried.

"What do we do?" Jin Kang asked looking at me as the rest of them looked at me.

"Tch..... This is why I hate leading a team. Decision making is not much my cup of tea. Let's take them in. First treat them, when they wake up, we speak to them. Leave the higher-ups to me. I will explain to them."

"What is they are foes? Can we really take such a risk?" Lee Din asked again.

"Is not like we have much of a choice. I feel like we won't regret it.."

Now am beginning to regret my decision. This monster was a ticking time bomb. How can someone be this powerful? All his injuries cleared so quick. I was dumbfounded, but had to speak up, or we would have all died if he had continued shouting nonstop.

Immediately Reika told Ryu of Galduna's whereabouts, Ryu stood up immediately, removed the stiches that had bound him to his bed as he walked out of the room. Everyone outside didn't date to be in his way as the demonstration of power that they had seen was enough to warn then that the person in front of them was a grim reaper in form of a human.

He walked towards Galduna's room and shielded himself with his aura as he couldn't trust Galduna at all. He had already had his quota of surprises from this monkey. He broke Galduna's room door only to see Galduna smiling at him.

"Hello Old friend... Hehehehe."
