Chapter 6

 Finally, the day of the Sovereign academy's entrance exam was here. Sin was ready he had made sure his body was well rested and his mind relaxed he did want to get too excited that he would make mistakes that could cost him his entrance into the Sovereign academy.

 After Sin had cleaned up the mess with his fight he had set down on the floor with his legs crossed and begun a long meditation session, the meditation he was doing would help him with gathering sources energy as well as relaxing his mind and muscles, the he had used the breathing exercises that Mary had taught him, this breath exercises was part of the martial art that had suited him with his duel sabers which was called the Two gales sword technique.

 Although the name was pretty lousy it made up for it in its power, the sword technique had been created by a master who was in the close to the transcend realm, he made it after the realization of his death that was quickly approaching. 

 The master had used all this knowledge of his swordsmanship and created a manual, this manual was then found in an ancient tomb by Claire Sin's mother and Mary on one of their excursions since it hadn't suited in of them they had just kept it, Mary was thankful that in the end that she had found a person to inherit the technic and that the dead master had got a successor.

 This sword art was about the force the wielder of the swords could express, one who had trained to at least the intermediate part could crate gales of wind with the swing of the sword and those at the perfected could summon whirlwind's that could sweep away enemies without the use of wind element.

 Although strong even some of the most basic skills required a lot of sources energy so it wasn't a something that could be used by anyone lower than the hero realm, well expect for Sin anyway and although he couldn't perform the gales due to his lack of sources energy he had already perfected the moves which had questioned Mary a lot after all Sin was a mere child and yet he could understand the art made by a being who stood at the top.

 Well in any case it had suited Sin and Mary was relieved that she wouldn't have to look for a martial art about dual sabers when Sin surpassed this one as dual Sabers weren't every common to begin with. 

 Sin had been studying this art for a while now and with the knowledge of swordsmanship of his past life he had managed to grasp at its foundation and even perfected it now all he was waiting for was for him to reach the hero realm were his reserve of source energy would allow him to perform feats he never would have thought possible.

 "Alright let's get going" Sin said to himself as he stood up from the floor were he was meditating. Sin went to the door and went out, closing the door on his way out he could see a group of three which was made of two girls and one boy. "It's him" said one of the girls as she covered her mouth and spoke softly so Sin couldn't hear, unfortunately for her Sin had highlighted sense and his hearing was good this was only possible of course with Sin Living in the wilderness for most of his life so for survival.

 "What the hell is that all about" Sin thought he kept on moving towards the exit of the building and he could see that some of the kids that were in the building would turn to look at him while they whispered to their friends. "What the hell" Sin thought, he was surprised as everyone seemed to know something about him which didn't make sense as Sin never left his room even once during his stay, so he didn't understand what was going on.

 A sudden realization struck him as he remembered the two boys he met on the second of his stay, he had beaten the boys black and blue, but no one could suspect him to have done that, he didn't even believe that with the amount of pride and arrogance the boys had they would tell anyone about what happened, so the question was why is everyone acting like that.

 Pushing the two large doors open the scenery before him was dazzling but just as he was admiring the sight he had to quickly cover his eyes as the radiance sun was hurting his eyes. "Alright let's do this" Sin said to himself as he walked through the door.

 Walking on the outside Sin could see several people that had been waiting outside that were wearing the academy's uniform. These people stood on top of what seemed to be a platform that was at least several feet off the ground, "I bet you wandering what their waiting for" a voice came from Sin's side. 

 "Hmmm" Sin said as he looked to the side to see a boy that was staring at the people on the platform the boy was adorn in a blue-coloured armour that had fur stitched into it, it seemed to have been made for cold places. "Sorry my bad, I just got excited when I saw you" said the boy as he now turned to face Sin. 

 The boy cleared his throat, and stretched out his hand for a handshake. "My name is Liam Heartstone". Sin looked down to see the boy's hand which looked firm and strong which didn't look like a child's hand, he was skeptical to shake the boy's hand. "Sigh, look man I get it your not too trusting but you got to learn to let loose a little bit" the boy said as he placed his hand back down.

 The boy then started to walk away, after five steps he turned to look at Sin again and said," oh I almost forgot, you better be careful cause you pissed off the wrong guys the Cristfall's can hold a grudge and you made enemies with their young master's so good luck with that".

 The boy then walked off." The Cristfall's huh, well I don't care who they are if they intend to harm me, I'll just do what I've always done ill kill them all every single last one of them" Sin said to himself as a smile covered his face and his eyes darkened. 

 After a while the several people that were standing on the platform moved, one moved to the front and clapped his hands. The sound of the clap resounded in the area grabbing everyone's attention although it was loud it was also soft which Sin found strange. 

 "Alright I believe this should be all of them" the man at the front stated and clapped his hands one more time and a giant magic circle covered the open field and engulfed all the kids in a golden glow before they all disappeared.

 Swoosh! A large group of people appeared in a large hall, after the mass teleportation all the kids were laying face first into the ground some had already passed out, the result could have been different if the elder had warned the group.

 After a couple of breaths though several figures began to stand up one after the another. The several figures were disciple of the major families that came from the Hansel kingdom. 

 "Not bad" said one the elder as within a time span of two minutes at least twenty kids had already gotten off the ground. The elders then waited a few more minutes to pass and eventually five minutes had passed and only around seventy had stood. 

 "This should suffice" the elder at the front said as he clapped his hands, the sound was so loud that those that were knocked out on the ground were woken up.

 "here's how this is gonna work first of all those that have just woken up are disqualified and will be teleported back to the main city. 

 "Wait what" said one of the kids that had 

just woke up and was still trying to get off the ground when another clap resounded through the hall and all those that were disqualified were teleported away. 

 Seeing that Sin who had been one of the first ones to stand up thought, " brutal hahaha they haven't even recovered yet already they have to go through it again, so many were disqualified even before the testing began. Well it makes sense most of them are probably nothing special and are just trying their luck" 

"Now all of those that are here now should have stabilize their cultivation at the Foundation establishment, so you should be at the middle if not the peak of the Foundation establishment." 

 Footsteps were then heard as another elder faced the crowd, "being the number one academy in the Eagan continent our recruitment can be quite strict, we wish to eliminate all the unqualified ones from the talents" the lady said.

"And so, you will all be given a map to the academy, you might not even need the map as you will mostly be going in a straight direction as the path spirals all around the mountain all the way to the top, but the map will be for those who feel brave enough to travel through the forest that is littered with beast of all kids, the map will be colored to show you what kinds of beasts you will encounter in the forest were you pass so stay in the green zone that's were all the beast of the human realm are with some at the peak of it as well so I advise you to be cautious". Another elder that was in front of them said.

"Your life is in your own hands and don't expect us to appear and save you, so don't go overestimating yourself." Another elder said. 

 A lady walked out and said " pretty simple right, the distance from here to the academy is around around a four hundred or so kilometer's if you take the safe path but then again the distance can be shortened if you go through the forest, its up to you whichever one you decide to take, oh and anyone that arrives after two days will be disqualified, so BEGIN" clap! And the elders disappeared. 

 "Shit" one of the kids said. " How the hell are we going to cross a four hundred kilometer's in two days" another said.

 "The forest, if we cut through the forest we can make it" another said. "What about the beasts." 

 "Simple we can form groups, so we can help each other out when we're attacked." 

 While some of the people discussed several had already taken a map and walked out of the hall. Sin had been one of those that had walked out, and he could now be see walking along in the forest as he looked at the map that was in his hands.
