CH 6 - Skills

His body was screaming in anguish, the pain almost caused him to faint but he was able to keep his wits and hold on , now he's trying to struggle his way out. But it was helpless, the loss of blood has weakened him even further , the rush of strength earlier is also gone, with no way to crawl out of here, the last thing possible to do was to look through his skills and see if there's anything that could help

He wasn't gonna give up so early, even if it's painful. He was someone who would do anything to come out alive ,he is as stubborn with life as a roach after all

He quickly summoned the Status screen to look for a way to live, he focused on the skills section

{Innate Skills :Shapeshift, Regeneration, Adapt}

[ Shapeshift ]

( Active ) : Transform a part or all of the user's body to the form of your consumed prey. User can also transform part of their body to inanimate objects . Transforming to parts of a consumed creature will give you the part's stats and skills.

Without MP, the skill still allow the user to change small details required for survival such as a mouth.

This skill is the core of this chimera's function , but it's near useless to him right now because he doesn't even have a lick of MP right now, it's literally 0/0.

But in the future this skill will be one of his most important skills that will undoubtedly improve his chance of survival 

[ Regeneration ]

( Active ) : Boost the user's metabolism by 10x

| Consume MP to heal |

( Passive ) : Improve the user's natural healing ability by an amount of the active skill's effect.

[ Adapt ]

( Passive ) :Help the user adapt better to any situation, also give the user a small amount of mental protection.

The skill will also be able to use the user's skill to a certain extent to aid in adapting to the situation.

' These two skills sound very useful, even when there's no MP they would still work '

Regeneration and Adapt is actually the reason why he's not dead yet and still has the time to think even though he has lost so much blood. The Adapt skill is trying to close his wounds as much as possible, while the Regeneration skill is slowly healing him. But that is still not enough to save him, his blood is still gushing out more than he can heal, the skill has a limit to how much it can help too. He still has to find something that would get him out of the glass.

Skills Gained : Chant-less, Identify, Auto Translate

Simultaneously, the Will of the World will try to help you with anything that it could , whether it is about a locked skill, a curse, or it will reimburse you when it couldn't do so.

'I'm guessing everyone who crossover will gain the same thing , like those in manga'

The Auto Translate skill has already been used by translating every language that he has heard from the Eisen language that Dr.Glamus said to the Runic language inside the Status spell

The Identify skill could be a very important skill as it lets you identify anything like a game, it will show everything's description like a book, it can even show other people's Status if they're not too much stronger than him. Currently it has no use though.

The Chant-less skill makes it so that every spell cast by the user doesn't need to be chanted. Normally , spells can only be chant-less when you have mastered the spell for years, this skill completely disregards all of that and lets you use chant-less spells immediately. For others, this would be an amazing skill to have because it immediately lets you have a head start on the path of magic compared to others , but for Carrion who doesn't have a magic vein , it's currently useless to him.

Fortunately though, his mana vein could still be saved by using one of his skill

' It's all useless, if this last skill doesn't help me then I would be the first of the chimeras to die before even escaping my tank '

<Devour >

( Active : ~Instant Devour~ ) : Allow the user to devour ANYTHING instantly and transform it into energy. The thing you can devour depends on how strong you are, the stronger they are , the more damage you will have to deal to it before you can devour it.

( Passive ) : For every living being the user devoured, you will gain stats based on the difference between your strength and your prey's strength. There's a small chance of doubling the gains.

[ Combo Skill ] : {Shapeshift + Devour}

Allow the user to shapeshift into parts of the consumed monsters with less cost of HP and MP.

Allow the user to gain more stats when devouring monsters, and retain more of the monster's skills and stats when transforming into their body parts.

Allow the user to make minor changes to acquired forms with no costs.
