2 the feeling of guilt

MINGYU'S POV:

I was so tired today and Coups hyung suggested eating in the cafeteria. As we entered all those stupid girls started screaming to gain our attention. We were walking casually when I noticed her.

There she was, the person whom I hurt the most in my past. The person who cried because of me. The person I wanted forgiveness from. Our eyes locked she was terrified by my sight. I hate myself I wanted to be the one to protect her not the one she is frightened of. I was looking at her when suddenly I saw tears in her eyes and then she ran away.

I lost Emmi once again.

I tried running after her but it was in vain she was fast. I lost sight of her. I want to ask for forgiveness. I will do whatever she wants me to so that she will forget our dreadful past. I am ready to even kneel down in front of everyone to apologize. But she left. The guy sitting with her is also surprised by her actions I assume he still doesn't know anything about us.

I approached him and asked," hey dude do you know the girl who was sitting with you right now?"

He nodded, " But why do you ask?"

I felt relieved thinking this guy can help me ," I am Mingyu and if you want to know anything about me ask anyone and they can tell. And pass a message to Emmi."

He is shocked," how do you know her ? And if you know her ask her yourself."

This angered me," just pass on a single message without asking so many questions." I literally shouted enough that everyone noticed me.

But the guy was super stubborn. He shakes his head as if he was disgusted and then stomped off. I wanted to run behind him and smack him but Wonwoo hyung stopped me.

Wonwoo ," Yah Mingyu what's wrong you never behaved this way before?"

Vernon who usually never speak much questioned," yeah you are weird right now hyung. What's wrong ?"

I sighed and then spoke," do you guys remember that girl Emmi I told about."

Jun hyung replied," yeah the one you bullied in middle school cause she didn't talked to you."

I nodded," yeah exactly I saw her today here as we entered."

Everyone became shocked.

Woozi hyung spoke silently," this makes sense now why you behaved in a weird way today."

Joshua hyung said ," Aren't you going to apologize her ? and also confess your feelings."

Everyone became surprised again.

Dino asked," confess? Why? Do you like her hyung?"

I nodded," yes , that's the reason I bullied her cause I was angry. She was a quiet kid and never spoke much always engrossed in her book. But when I wanted to speak to her and tell her how I feel she ignored me that angered me and I was immature and pulled some pranks but I never thought she will be this affected. That's why she left school and that broke my heart. I was searching for her crazily but never found her but today I saw her and I also saw how terrified she is of me."

Coups hyung put an arm around my shoulder and patted lightly.

Dino spoke again," don't worry hyung we will help you."

Everyone nodded. I felt a little better to have these amazing friends around me. But I don't know whether Emmi will be mine or not. I don't want to hurt her anymore.
