1 that dreadful past

EMMI'S POV:

I am glad that I already decided where to live before moving here or else it would have been a big hassle. I rented a studio room near college so that I won't waste any time in commuting. I am pretty excited to start college and do well in order to be a writer and can write screenplays. Yet I am hell nervous as to what will happen and how to make friends. I hated socializing since I was a kid. I am always this nerdy person who loves her personal space and doesn't want intruders. I was being bullied a lot because of this reason and that's why I changed schools. I don't want the same complications. I want to remain as invisible as possible.

I reached my room then unpacked all my stuffs. I am super tired now ugh! These unpacking things are the worst. I face timed my parents cause they told me to face time them every single day.

My dad picked up the call in one ring like he was waiting, " HEY!! Kiddo are you alright by yourself?"

I sighed," yeah Paa relax it's only one day and you know I can do well by myself."

Dad snorted, " yeah yeah but you are still a kid you know and what will you eat and did you make any friends?"

Mom interrupted ," Emmi don't listen to your dad he is just freaked out and is old fashioned and doesn't know what cool parents do."

I laughed I miss this already. Then I replied ," yeah mom it's fine. I should go now and eat I am so sleepy. Bye take care."

Then I cut the call.

I am so tired now I don't want to cook so I decided to order pizza.

And slept.

(NEXT DAY)

I entered the college gate with sparkle in my eyes. I am still nervous. I went to the class and the lecture went pretty well because I had already studied this in advance. Thank God I have this habit it is the way I never fail to understand any topic.

My classes ended and there are no classes today after lunch. So I decided to eat in the cafeteria and then go to the library to continue my reading.

I ordered a wrap with my all-time favorite hot chocolate then I sat on a table. A cute guy came to me.

Cute guy," Hi ! Emmi right?"

I am shocked to know that he knows my name.

I stuttered, " Hi , yeah that's my name but may I ask how do you know."

He laughed," sorry I didn't introduce myself first, I am Yoon Jeonghan I am in the same class as you and I guess you didn't notice me but I was sitting beside you in the entire lecture."

I am so stupid how I cannot notice such a cute guy sitting beside me all this time. I just smiled.

He then spoke again," so what about being friends with me as you are new and I am too."

I smiled again and replied, "yeah sure why not."

We both smiled and talked about our hobbies and laughed a lot. He is indeed a funny and sweet guy.

Then suddenly we saw people hurdling and shouting and then we saw 8 guys entered.

They were all handsome but one particular face made me spill my hot chocolate. He was my worst nightmare. The reason for me to leave my friends and school. My sworn enemy. And our eyes locked. It seemed like the ground beneath my feet shifted and I froze.
