3 the new friends

EMMI'S POV :

I don't want to go to college anymore. I don't want to face the same issues again. Why is he here of all places? He is still that rude and arrogant jerk he was back then.

My tears again started falling. I couldn't sleep a wink yesterday. I am so terrified to face him all over again. Suddenly my phone rang. It was Jeonghan who said he would pick me up today.

When he came I saw two other guys were sitting in the backseat. When I entered they waved and smiled and introduced themselves as Seungkwan who was holding an iced Americano and the other one was reading a book and was pretty shy, he was The8.

We all reached college and I bonded pretty well with them thanks to Jeonghan. While going to class we saw people screaming again, I got frightened to see him again. But this time they were shouting for two other guys who were not there with the gang of Mingyu.

When we asked someone nearby who they were, we got to know that those two were Hoshi and DK who are rivals of Mingyu's gang. I was relieved.

We had three classes and our professor gave us some group work so we went to the library to do it. The8 and I were going to research and write the report and Jeonghan and Seungkwan will do the presentation part. While they were practicing I went to search for some books. I found the book but it was on a high shelf but being short heighted I had to jump but still I couldn't reach the shelf. Then someone brought that book down, when I turned to say thank you I saw him.

Fear started rising in my eyes and heart. Tears started welling up. I started shivering. When with a low voice he said," Hi Emmi. Remember me?"

Of course I remember him, how can I forget him. I couldn't say anything. I was trembling with fear when he tried to reach me and I stepped back and fumbled. Someone caught me from behind. My tears started falling when my eyes met him. He was that biker guy DK.

DK asked," Are you okay girl?"

I nodded straightening up.

He pushed me back behind him and said," Mingyu I never thought you would hurt a girl. I know you are an arrogant and rude person but this is intolerable."

Mingyu was angry ," it's none of your business so back off I am in no mood to fight."

His gaze turned to me and then he spoke softly," Emmi can we talk please? I need to explain a lot of things please."

I looked at him and I couldn't read him. He is a liar. I can't get fooled twice. DK turned towards me and asked, "Do you want to talk to him or shall I take you from here?"

I looked at him and then at Mingyu and said," Please take me back." My voice was trembling with fear. Then DK held my hand and took me back. I didn't even turn back toward Mingyu, I can't stand the sight of him.

When we were out of sight of Mingyu, DK said," Are you okay now, you want something to drink?"

I nodded. He gave me chocolate milk. I started drinking and DK was looking at me the entire time. Then we returned to our table. My friends were worried.

Seungkwan rushed to me," yahhh Emmi how can you just vanish. Do you know how crazily worried we were for you? And who is this guy? Did he hurt you?"

He was looking angrily towards DK. I spoke finally," Chill kwanah I am fine and this is DK and no he didn't hurt me rather he protected me."

They all exchanged greetings and DK assured me that if Mingyu tried to hurt me then he would protect me. I was relieved. Then Jeonghan took me home.

I freshened up and opened my laptop to check on my social media. There was a photo of DK and Mingyu fighting and I was also there. Damn, someone clicked a picture and even posted it. Everyone was dissing me, telling me as a gold digger and stuff to make those two popular kids fight. I knew nothing would be right if I crossed paths with MIngyu.

My phone rang. It was Jeonghan .

He said," Emmi did you see that post?"

I replied,"yeah"

Jeonghan," don't worry we are with you, no one will do anything to you, moreover we reported that post and it will be taken down. You don't worry much and sleep okay."

I replied slowly," thank you and goodnight."

He cut the call. Thank god I have such an angel as my friend. I was so exhausted I didn't know when I fell asleep.
