While all this drama was happening around the Kisaeng house, silence reigned in Mr. Park's house. The entire place and its surroundings were dark and enclosed in an eerie sense of gloom.
The entire population of the house was nowhere to be seen, as if they had all been spirited away.
The only form of life that could be seen was a dark shadow standing in the middle of a room. It was that of a man with average height and dressed in black robes. He was standing still, staring at a certain spot in front of him.
"What happened?" a frosty voice travelled through the darkness, causing the man to flinch.
A second later, another shadow emerged from behind a folded screen and came to stand in front of the black-robed man.
After revealing himself, Min Byung-Ho remained silent, waiting for the man to answer his question.
