The Shocking Truth about the New World
As Andy turned on the TV, he was instantly meet with an emergency broadcast that stated,
"New Reports state that unpresented events are taking affect around the whole world!!!"
"This is not a joke!!! I repeat this is not a joke!!!"
"Creatures are showing up in all corners of the world!!!"
"These Creatures are unimaginably strong, and some have shown signs to have intellect!!!"
"Citizens are advised to stay indoors and hide, while the government will try to take control of the situation!!!"
"Once again, we advise for citizen to please stay indoors!!!"
"I repeat, this is not a joke!!!"
The news was also showing videos of huge beasts and other creatures running around. Some are shown to have blood and other signs of gore smeared all over their mouths, claws, and other extremities. To show that they were not kidding.
Andy had become visually pale. He felt his body go weak and tried to rack his mind to try to figure out what was going on.
This couldn't be real. Shit like this doesn't happen in real life.
He refused to believe this was real.
"Somebody most have hacked my computer and TV!!! Yeah, that has to be it. This is just some stupid prank that somebody is playing on me." Andy chuckled nervously as he was trying to calm himself down. "I bet somebody is recording this whole thing right now. HaHaHa, where are the cameras?"
Andy was searching his room for cameras when suddenly he heard a booming noise followed by smaller noises come for outside his dorm.
"THWOMP"
"Ka Ka"
"..."
Andy was shocked completely quiet.
He slowly built up the courage to walk towards the window and take a peak outside.
What he saw sent all the warmth out of his body.
"..."
After what seemed like an eternity, he took in the site of what he saw.
*Dozens of flying beasts that had a body of a cat with wings coming out of its back and a bird head. *
*In the distance it looked like a huge back of some sort of creature that was towering over some trees. *
Andy stumbled a couple steps back and thought,
"How could I sleep though this?"
He then instantly fainted.

After about 45 minutes of being unconscious. Andy started to stir awake.
He felt groggy and very nauseous.
He slowly stood up and supported himself against the wall.
He slowly walked to the window again to make sure this wasn't some sort of nightmare. What he saw conformed that it was reality.
His legs started wobble, but he caught himself before he could fall over. He took in what he saw.
What he saw put fear in his heart that would stay there for what would seem like forever.
Besides the unimaginable beasts he also saw disformed corpses and other pieces of arms, legs, and other body parts scattered around his dorm.
(They were people that had left in the morning. Either heading to their jobs or other early morning activities without checking their phones or the TV to see what was happening.)
He also saw a couple campus security cars that seemed to be trashed or just totally demolished. That were surrounded by what could be once called the security guards that would sit outside the dorm to make sure nothing would happen to the students.
After Andy took in what he saw he ran to the restroom and stared to blow chunks. He vomited out all the contents of his stomach into the toilet.
Andy had never been good with blood and gore. So, when he saw the events that happened outside, he couldn't handle it. After he finished vomiting his guts out, he started to have a full out panic attack.
He started to replay the events in his head. Each image of death and destruction played in his head. He became more and more scared and started to bawl his eyes out.
He thought that there was no way to survive this situation. He was certain he was going to die.
His life started to flash before his eyes. He then learned that his whole life was bullshit. Nothing ever good happened for him. He was constantly battered in shit.
He became an orphan in his mid-teens, he was put in an orphanage where no one ever wanted him, he made friends just for them to get stolen from him, and when he finally was sort of happy with his life the goddamn apocalypse happens.
Andy cried himself to sleep and woke up later that day. When he woke, he had calmed down a little bit.
He realized that he was fine for the time being. The monsters didn't know he was there, and the news said the government would take care of the situation. He also had plenty of food for the time being.
He thought that if he waited, the government would save him.
He wasn't some sort of protagonist that would go towards the danger. In real life that is just a quick way to die. He was fine for waiting for a while.
He had bought supplies for spring break so he should be fine for a week and a half if he rationed the food and drinks.
So that is what he did. He waited for someone to save him.

Andy hid in his dorm. He did not do anything except eat, sleep, and occasionally use the restroom.
He tried to call the police a couple of times, but it always ended the same way. With no one picking up. He continued to call just in case for about day till the electracy went out.
After about 3 days the pluming stopped working and Andy ended up having to do his business in the tub.
He continued to do the same thing until about after a week and 3 days went by and Andy was running out of food.
He continued to wait still for a couple more days, starving himself.
He was getting to the point where he was losing the hope that someone was going to save him. He was getting desperate.
Finally, after about a week and 6 days of waiting for something. Hunger finally got the best of him and decided to go out to find food, supplies, and something to help him survive.
It was time for Andy to go out and face the new world.
