chapter Thirty-Eight-Inigo apologizes, Lisa refuses

Inigo went to the hospital to see Lisa.

 "What's he doing here?" Lisa shouted.

 "I came to apologize, Lisa. I'm very sorry," he said.

 "Get him out of here. I don't want to see his face," Lisa ordered. "Please, I beg you," she pleaded.

 "Inigo, just go out for a while so that she can be herself. You're causing unnecessary drama here," Diego said, as Inigo nodded and left.

 "He's gone now, Lisa. Everything is okay," Rachael said as she hugged Lisa.

 "Rachael!" Lisa called, her eyes scanning the room.

 "What's wrong?" Rachael asked.

 "When I first opened my eyes, I remember seeing a girl. I think she's from my school. Where is she?" Lisa asked.

 "She's not here. She hasn't come since morning, and I also didn't know she left," Rachael said.

 "What's her name?" Lisa asked.

 "Bea. Her name is Bea Alonzo," Rachael answered.

 "come on now, Lisa, you need to rest," Diego said as Lisa nodded.

*******************************************************At school, Inigo was sitting on a bench near a door while students were learning inside. He was waiting for someone, and when the class was over, students were trooping out, and then he saw Dax. He rushed over. "Dax, Dax!" he called out as Dax turned to him.

 "Inigo!" Dax said as they did their bro handshake. "So, to what do I owe this visit?" Dax asked.

 "I really do need your help and advice. Please, can you help me?" Inigo asked.

 "Come on, let's go the café. That's a good place to have such conversations," Dax said as they left.

*******************************************************So, all this happened?" Dax asked as Inigo nodded. "I warned you. I told you, but you wouldn't listen. Have you spoken to Lisa yet?" Dax asked.

 "she doesn't want to see me or talk to me. I went there this morning, and when she saw me, she grew wild," Inigo said.

 "Well, I would do the same thing if I were in her shoes," Dax said, but when he saw the look on inigo's face, he became serious. "Sorry, but on a serious note, I advise you to try your luck again. I mean, you really have to. I don't think recca is going to sit and watch you tell her. She's going to have some tricks up her sleeve," Dax said.

 "Yeah, that's true. I need to be fast," Inigo said as they heard the sound of the bell.

 "Come on, let's head to class," Dax said as they both stood up and left.

********************************************************Lisa stayed in the hospital for a week before she was discharged.

 "I'm so happy that you're discharged," Rachael said.

 "Yes, and I'm whole and hearty, ready to leave this place. If I had stayed here for even one day, I would have been dead. I can now go back to school," Lisa said.

 "But you're just recovering," Rachael said.

 "I'm fine. I'm even stronger than you," Lisa replied.

 "That's true. If you were the one, I would have had to take care of you for a month," Diego teased, earning a jab from Rachael.

 "You were saying?" Rachael asked as Lisa chuckled.

 "Nothing, my love," Diego said, smiling sheepishly.

 "Come on, let's go home," Lisa said as they all left.
