Something was definitely amiss.

If in fact Arkians are different from Earthlings, how had she been treated in the hospital earlier. It would be naive to think that a hospital would find a different constitution in her body and let her go. Due to everything that had happened before she was too stressed to think much about it. But now the question loomed in her head.

It was no secret that Arkians and Marsians had the same origin. The composition of their bodies was identical thus any medic from either planet could treat on either of the planets. It was said that their original planet was close to destruction thus they migrated to Mars and Ark respectively but there had never been any mention of Earth in that fray.

Thinking about the ancient Mars video, an idea suddenly popped up in her head.

Could it be? Is the mother planet really Earth?

She quickly gave up the thought. The Marsian video was probably a clip that was dumped in space and somehow found its way to Earth.

Also if Earth really was the Mother planet, shouldn't technology here be more advanced. Also the Mother planet was about to face destruction so Earth couldn't be it. The connection had to have happened during the migration.

At that moment, Ken was looking at Kin with a weird expression on his face.

"Maybe she doesn't like tv." He thought.

"Well she should at least try to act interested."

He started thinking of what to do when it hit him. Did she have enough clothes? Knowing women, alien or not clothes are at the top of their list on importance and seeing as she slept in the clothes she came in, it was safe to assume she needed more.

He lightly tapped her on the shoulder pulling her out of her dazed state. It took a few seconds for her to understand that they were talking about clothes but about half a minute for her to understand they were going shopping.

And so after Kin changed into some of Ken's clothes that looked less conspicuous on a woman, they set off.

Location: A secret base somewhere on the American continent.

"Have you still not found them?" A well dressed man asked his surbodinate.

"We've retrieved the ship but it appears the owner used an escape pod. It drifted all the way to Africa. The specific coordinates are still unknown." He replied.

"Damn it." The superior cursed. "Have this information reported to the higher ups and ask them to contact Africa's guardians."

"Understood." The subordinate said quickly walking away.

The former entered an elevator heading towards the lowest floor which was deep underground.

The elevator door opened to reveal an ominous looking room way larger than all the other rooms in the building.

The room had many prison cells which had an almost unbreakable glass like material instead of bars and in some of the cells were strange looking creatures of all sizes.

The man paid little attention to most of the creatures walking to the end where a humanoid looking figure was bound by its limbs to the walls of its cell. The creature could have passed for a large muscular male human being save for one detail. It had a permanent position eerie smile with the corner of its lips reaching just short of its eyes.

Three hours later back at Ken's house.

Ken and Kin entered the room. Kin seemed somewhat excited while quite the opposite could be said for Ken. It had truly been a stressful time for him.

Most of the conversations were repetitive at the mall. He met a beautiful lady who said Ken and Kin looked like a cute couple but Ken said.

"Oh no she's my sister. And I think me and you would look cuter, don't you?"

Then he met a man about his age who had his eyes out for Kin and he said.

"Back off man she's my girl."

The same scene went over and over making him regret every decision he has ever made.

Reaching his home, he let out a sigh of relief and vowed he wouldn't take Kin out of the house unless it was completely necessary.

Relieved it was all over, he went to the kitchen to cook their supper yet unbeknownst to him, many shadows were moving around his house completely surrounding it and avoiding the windows as to not be seen.

A pipe was inserted through an opened window in the living room and a green gas was coming out of it.
