One thing to say

Kin was the first to notice something wrong but even then it was too late. As she got up holding her breath and covering her nose with the edge of the top she was wearing, she immediately fell down unconscious.

Ken who had been in the kitchen came in to investigate the sound he had heard but was immediately knocked down by a man covered in black from head to toe. He had no chance to act.

Time : Unknown

Ken woke up with a headache.

He brushed his hand across the back of his head where a big lump had formed. He felt pain thatade him hiss.

Looking around, he discovered that he was in a white walled room with glass blocking him from getting out. Fear began to creep up on him.

He discovered that being in this room could only mean one thing, he had been betrayed.

Typical.

He got up slowly and walked towards the glass. Taking in a deep breath, he kicked his hardest at it to no avail. It would have been stupid to truly believe he could break it but it would have been more stupid if it could be broken and he didn't.

"So this is what happens to overly nice guys. Kindness never goes unpunished." He thought.

He had calmed down by now knowing that panicking would help in no way.

He let out a light chuckle.

"Can't believe this is how it ends. I had just regained my hope in returning to the top even surpusing it."

"Reaching the top of the world this time. What a joke."

In another room at the same unknown place.

Kin woke up drowsy. Her memory started piecing itself bit by bit.

Taking a look around the room she was in, she had a rough idea of what happened.

"So they finally found me. Good. I have a lot of questions."

At that moment, a voice could be heard echoing in the room. She looked around and stared at a speaker on one of the walls wide eyed. They were speaking Greek!

"State your name." Said the booming voice.

"I am Kin. I come from the planet Ark. I was sent here as a messenger."

The room was silent for a while before the voice spoke again.

"What message do you bring."

"The Setellians will soon come to this side of the asteroid belt. The Setellians are a race that bring disaster wherever they go. They will surely invsde all our planets and make us slaves. We need to form an alliance if we are to have any chance of defending against them." She replied.

Again the room went silent. This time, however, the glass retracted into the ground and two guards who were covered in black futuristic armor appeared as if by magic.

One pointed his ray guns at Kin.

"Follow them and try not to do any stupid."

Sandwiched between the two, Kin was led away from the room. A new light of hope had been relit in her.

At the same time in Ken's room.

A guard appeared and led Ken out. Ken followed dejectedly knowing full well his life was over.

All his dreams. All his aspirations. Over written by this one act of pretending to be the hero.

And now he was going to be a test subject to some alien experiments. Thinking this, he shivered.

"I just hope nothing is stuck in through..."

"Let me not say it. I'll just jinx myself."

At that moment he was taken into another white room only this one had a table and two chairs. It was an interrogation room.

He was ordered to sit and wait.

After a while, a woman dressed in a white lab coat and sleek spectacles came in. She was smiling. This sent shovers down Ken's spine.

"Hello Ken. Do you know why you are here today?" She said smiling.

"To become a human guinea pig."

The woman raised an eyebrow at this statement.

"What. You should be happy you found such a smart and handsome lab rat." Ken said when he noticed she was surprised.

The woman burst into laughter.

"That's not quite it but it could be arranged if you'd prefer that." She said

"Then what's the reason?" Ken asked hopeful.

"It would be boring to tell you so let's gamble. Would you prefer to become a test subject or the other choice."

Ken fell silent. Is there anything worse than being a test subject? He was very reluctant but at the thought of tubes inserted where they are not supposed to be he was quick to make his decision.

"The other choice please."

The woman simply smiled and told him to follow her. Ken was anxious the whole way until he was brought to yet another white room. This one was distinct. Lije the first room, it had glass separating it from the hallway but unlike the first room it had a metal dooron its right side.

On the door in bold were the words 'Execution Room'.

Ken was stunned. He had earlier thought the aliens had no reason to kill him as he doubted he thought Kin could easily subdue him if she wanted him dead. Looking at the woman before him, she caught her smiling maniacally.

"Sorry. You know too much." She said.

The guards who were escorting them then grabbed him and pulled him into the room roughly. He was pushed to the ground and the two aimed their ray guns at him.

The fear he had was replaced with rage in the face of death. If he was going to die, there was one thing he must say.

"Fuck you Kin."
