67 Taehyung

Jin was true to his words when he said he was going to love Jisoo all night. He made sure to touch every inch, curve, and skin on her body. He gave her deep kisses to make up for all their time apart. He made sure she climaxed every time before letting himself release into her.

Jisoo was sound asleep in Jin's arm because of their exhausting workout for the night, but Jin couldn't sleep. No matter how tired he was, he wasn't ready yet to let sleep overtake him. Not after everything that they've been through.

He could not close his eye for the fear of waking up the next morning to her beautiful face not next to his. He fought battles with his sleep demon who was trying to lullaby him to dreamland. If he could stay awake and just look at her lovely face for the rest of his life, he wouldn't hesitate at all to do it.

Her even and light huff of breaths made it known to him that she was asleep. So he traces her face with his finger in the dimmed lighting. When his hand made it to her cheek, he let his hand rest gently on it as he stroke her cheek ever so softly, worried that his bare minimal touch would wake the sleeping princess.

His heart thumping, blood rushing throughout his veins as he looks down at the woman that he loves so dearly. He still can't believe that he had proposed to her and she agreed to marry him. His heart raced at the thought of Jisoo walking down the aisle in a beautiful white gown and his face and ears turned bright red.

"You are going to be the death of me, my love. I love you Min Jisoo."

He steals a kiss from her lips before snuggling her deeper into his chest. Jisoo stirs awake as Jin pulls her close to him.

"You're still up?" Jisoo tiredly asks Jin with her eyes half-opened.

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep. Sorry, I didn't want to wake you. "

"It's okay. Aren't you tired?"

"I am."

"Then go to sleep Jin. You're still a little warm from your fever. You should be resting."

"I'm okay now."

Jisoo tries to pull away from Jin's suffocating embrace, but he just grips onto her tiny body a little more firmly. There was something about the way that he clung onto her body that made Jisoo a little worried.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"I just missed you so much Jisoo," Jin softly whispered to answer her.

"I'm right here."

"I know. But I still miss you even though you're in my arms right now. I just love you and don't want to be away from you."

Jisoo let a small smile grow on her lips as she gently pries herself away from him. She puts her weight onto her right elbow which caused her to slightly hover above Jin. Her free hand had made its way to cup his right cheek as she gently caresses it.

"I won't go anywhere. I love you Kim Seokjin. I am and will be forever yours and only yours," Jisoo spoke softly, but Jin heard every word. He cups her face in return and pulls it down towards his as their lips met, fitting perfectly like two pieces of a puzzle.

After a little mini makeout session, the two were cuddling together in bed. Legs intertwine, body fully naked and only the thin light blue silk sheet covered their bodies. Comfortable silence enters the entire room, which got Jin to start thinking.

"I know I said I wasn't going to ask you anymore, but I can't help but be curious..."

"About what?"

"Why couldn't you just tell me you were Min Jisoo?"

Jisoo turns her head to look at Jin who was already gazing deeply into her eyes. One look at those beautiful brown orbs and she knew it was time. Time for the long-overdue talk to clear up everything. She had rambled on earlier with her confession, but never really went into detail about everything.

"I fell in love with you..."

Jin was quiet, waiting for Jisoo to finish speaking.

"... I knew it was wrong for me to love you when you were with someone else. But I couldn't stop myself. Every time you were near me, I couldn't breathe."

Jisoo thought back to their encounter when Jin had caught her smoking. The lie that Sunni had told Jin and he believed her.

"You remember when you had caught me smoking?"

Jin nods and Jisoo smiles softly before continuing.

"It wasn't mine. It was Sunni who was smoking. When she saw you, she had put the cigarette in my mouth to make it seem like I had been the one who smoked. She lied to you then and you blindly believed her."

Jin winces slightly at the memory that invaded his head. How sad Jisoo's eyes were when she told him the cigarette wasn't hers, but he just coldly ignores her.

'Assistant Min, please call me Mr. Kim from now on.'

"I'm sorry Jisoo-"

"Ani, it's not your fault. "

"God, I was such as jerk..." Jin sulks as he regrets ever hurting Jisoo back then.

"You were, but you were a handsome jerk though," Jisoo giggles as Jin shot her a little glare before letting the frown on his face turn into a full grin.

"Tell me more. When did you fall in love with me?"

"I'm actually not sure. I spent so much time with you and Sunni that before I knew it, I was having trouble breathing whenever you walked by or was near me."

"So all those time you couldn't breathe was because of me?"

"Yep," Jisoo spoke as she popped the 'p'.

"I affected you that much huh? I didn't even know..."

"You really did. I fell hard for you Jin, but I knew you would never look my way. You loved Sunni too much back then."

"Was that why you quit the company? Because I hurt you a lot?" Jin spoke softly.

"Ani, I was let go by Sunni."

"Wait, you didn't leave on your own?"

"No, Sunni had fired me once she found out my feelings for you."

"I didn't know you were suffering so much because of me Jisoo. I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault Jin. You were in love with her. Of course your first thought is to believe the person you love."

Jin lies silent in bed, moving his gaze from Jisoo to the ceiling. Jisoo continued with more details from everything that they had gone through.

"I tried really hard to not think about you after leaving the company, but you were always all over the TV and I kept hearing news about you. I had actually just met with Taehyung when you got into the car accident..."

Jisoo closed her teary eyes as she remembers the desperation to run to Jin's side when she heard about the accident. She opens her glistening eyes and turns to face Jin. She gently places her hand onto his cheek to turn his face to look at her.

"I had come to see you, but I was nervous and anxious. I didn't know what Sunni had said to you about me and I didn't know if you would want to see me again."

"Why wouldn't I want to see you anymore? Don't you remember when I told you how sad I was when you left the company? I thought we had become close and good friends and you suddenly left without a trace."

"I know. I'm sorry. I really didn't know you felt that way about me. I would have definitely said goodbye. After the smoking incident, I didn't think you would ever look at me the same anymore."

"I was a little disappointed, but not anymore. I know the truth now. Tell me more. What else did I not know?" Jin asks as he shuffles in bed.

"Did Taehyung tell you about him and Sunni?"

"Ah, yeah. He told me he never loved Sunni. It hurt a lot at first, but I've told you before that it hurt more when Tae didn't admit his feelings to me. But obviously, I was dead wrong thinking that he had feelings for Sunni when he just wanted me away from her. I guess you can say I'm a little thankful to Taehyung. I met you because of Tae," Jin spoke the last sentence softly while gazing into Jisoo's brown orbs. Even in the dimmed light, she could see how his eyes were full of love. Jin leans in to give her a quick kiss before backing up and smiling back down at the girl.

"Did you also know about Taehyung's plan to break Sunni and me up then? You told me that Taehyung was the one who hired you. That must have meant that both you and Tae was behind it. You love me so much that you wanted me for yourself huh?" Jin playfully teases her in his arms before tightly squeezing her in his arms.

Jisoo giggles while struggling to break free from his firm embrace. Once she was finally free she shakes her head no to answer Jin.

"I had just blurted it out randomly. I had no idea of Taehyung's intention back then and I was so upset with him. I couldn't believe that he could hurt you. He knew about my feelings for you, but he still lied to me. He had told me that he wanted to take the company and Sunni away from you. He knew that I would be glued to your side if he turned his back on you, so he even hid the truth away from me too."

"That little brat..." Jin spoke as he shook his head while thinking about Taehyung and how he must have gone through a lot alone. He played the bad guy so that Jin could let go of Sunni. Sure it was painful at first when Jin heard about the affair from Namjoon. But as Jin had mentioned before, he was more hurt that Taehyung couldn't be honest to him. And he would have given up Sunni and the company to Taehyung. He would do anything for his baby brother.

Taehyung was someone who knew what he wanted and when he wants something, he made sure to get it. Just like how much he wanted to break Sunni and Jin apart. But something still strikes Jin as odd. If Taehyung knew that Jisoo loved Jin, then why did he hid the truth from Jisoo too?

"He knew you loved me? So why didn't he just tell you? It doesn't make sense to me that he had to play the bad guy to both you and me."

Jisoo stiffens as Jin asks her the one question that she wanted to avoid. Because Jin was going to find out about Taehyung's feelings for her and she wasn't sure how Jin was going to react. He had told her before that he was willing to give up his company and Sunni to Taehyung.

Would that include giving up Jisoo because Taehyung was in love with her? His baby brother was also in love with the same girl. Does this mean that all this happiness and blissful moments with Jin was limited?

"Jisoo?" Jin asks the suddenly quiet girl in his arms. He noticed how she tensed up and tried to make eye contact with the girl who was obviously avoiding his eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

She doesn't want to lie anymore. Not when all truths are now out in the open. Not when she finally has Jin. Not when he's finally in love with her as herself. Not when she was madly in love with Kim Seokjin.

If he runs away this time, she was going to find him. Jisoo was not going to let go. So she finally locks eyes with Jin before boldly speaking.

"Taehyung kept the truth about his intentions from me because..... because he was in love with me..."
