Neighbors(slight change)

I went to the door and picked a small ladder so that I could look through the peephole and see who was on the other side.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Unsurprisingly the person on the other side was still knocking against it... I already know who it is, considering it is early morning just right before my parents go to work, in short, breakfast time.

Looking through the eye I saw a little girl being pulled by her cheeks while a "bigger" version of her pulled them, a little bit behind them was a tall, very tall man, wearing formal work clothes.

-Who is it? I asked

-OPEN THE DOOR MICHI!

The little girl received a bonk on the head

I opened the door after putting the ladder to the side to see her mom reprimanding her…

-... I told you to not scream in the mornings, didn't I little Kona? Said Tada Eiko, or should I say, Miss Onaga Eiko, wife of Onaga Tadao.

- AOCH mom!... Sniff… I am sorry…

This little girl who likes to make trouble but gives in at the smallest pressure is Koyanagi Amaterasu, the first name meaning "shining over heaven"

While I looked at the touching scene of mother hugging daughter, Mr Onaga came to me and said:

From time to time the Onaga family comes to our house in the mornings before work to eat breakfast with us, they also come at night to eat dinner but that only happens once in a while, sometimes we go to their house. After all, they live in the house right next to ours.

They moved in 3 months ago but it wasn't until my birthday last week that the friendship between our families grew to this degree. And as you can imagine, it was all because of that little girl over there.

After the two families exchanged pleasantries, they started to talk about a series of things, you could say "adult talk". Not something a three-year-old child should understand.

While me? Well, I guess my cereal was at the top of my current priorities. This shit is really good.

My thoughts were interrupted as I already knew what she was going to ask

For some reason, this girl has taken an immense liking to me, not in the "love" sense, that is if a child this age even understands what kind of love I am speaking about. Ever since my birthday party, this girl became almost like hot glue to me, it isn't as annoying as you can imagine, since I have three clones working 24/7 in the basement, I don't really lose time by playing with her, it is even good for me in a sense since the adult's attention will be directed to us most of the time.

And it's not like this is happening every day. Twice a week is very bearable. My only question is why? Was it my perfect Puppet play on that day? When she "invited" me to drink tea with her "friends"?

No matter. This isn't going to last long anyway. At most, until I start to go to school when I am 6. And in a sense, since I don't go to preschool, my parents might start to get worried that I don't have any friends. So exchanging preschool for 2-3 days of time is a very good deal for me…

After our "lovely" interaction the two families prepared to leave for work while I stayed at home alone once again.

In 4 more years, things will start to get heated and I want to see it all.

During these past three years, I have thought a lot about what I should do with my years of free time. Should I go to the Shinonono dojo so that I could interact with, in my opinion, the most important characters of this world? Should I try and accumulate a big amount of money? It's not that hard considering that I already know that the future will be all about the IS. The best way to make money? Invest in the creator of the IS and just wait… sounds easy right? But it isn't, from the immense danger that I will pass through after the IS makes its debut to the possible "attention" that I might receive from her… Yeah, it's better to bid my time. I don't need money. You might ask: Then how I am going to build my IS, the answer is easy, the IS academy has all facilities needed for the construction of a basic IS model. Yes… Basic, but is better than nothing. I can think about using some corporation later down the line but that might not be the best solution, after all, I am aiming for the best possible IS I can make, and in the future, 13-14 years from now, most of the corporations will be developing their Second-generation IS while having only the draft or a prototype for Third-generation IS. All of this while the creator Tabane Shinonono would have already developed the Fourth-generation IS, so yeah I don't think their "High technology" is going to help me build a better IS.

There is also the biggest problem of all, the IS core. First, the cores are made using a special raw material called "Time crystal" which can only be found in a cave system underneath Luxembourg. Second, I don't know how to make one, and I am sure that no one knows it either. All the IS cores in the world were made by Tabene before she vanished like the Avatar, 467 cores were created to be exact, 322 will be used for actual combat and the remaining 145 will be handed over to research facilities and enterprises of various countries, and even after 10 years of analyzing them, they will only learn how to switch the "case".

The IS itself is the core while the rest is only a husk for it to operate. The IS are way more than just an energy source housing an advanced AI. They are machines built to fulfill their pilot's dreams. Really. The IS will always seek to fulfill the desires of its pilot, often by simply giving him/her more power to do so, in some cases even evolving themselves in the process. In some extreme cases, they might even take over the pilot.

Now the question is, where do I start?
