Another morning, the same routine. Wake up, eat breakfast, train the many forms under Tonpetty's guidance, repeat that until lunch and then spend the night reading in the library.

This process might seem repetitive for some, but for me it was fun. Getting stronger every day is a wonder to me.

But I got into a wall recently.

My breathing is as stable as possible. My body, like any other, has a limit in how much air I can breathe at a given moment. Even if I train, I will reach a limit eventually. My body will grow as I age, I will amass more muscle, but eventually…

How to progress further? With my special physique, I can continue to increase my body's strength, but that is too slow.

Hamon propagates like a wave. It has an easier time doing so in liquid than in solids. Let's not talk about gases... You need two things in order to use Hamon: Be able to breathe and have strong blood flow. Let's ignore the other minor things. If you bleed too much, your Hamon weakens, if you can't breathe, you can't produce more Hamon.

But where does Hamon come from? Why does breathing in a certain way result in its appearance?

In order to answer that question, I spent many days in the library until I read all of its books. There aren't that many books though, the rest of them are locked in a special area reserved for Masters.

I found that all life forms have many things hidden in them. I know there is a soul hidden somewhere within me. And there is a way to access it, but I can't think of any way other than by using a Stand. There is also the spirit, which is the basis for the Stand. But lastly, all things have a force inside them called "lifeforce" and it's actually the unawakened form of Hamon.

This force propels life, without it you die. Vampires also have it but in a different way. Their lifeforce is based on another energy, the same as the pillar man. They aren't "Undead" as in many magic worlds, they are actually considered alive. As Lisa Lisa said when she detected Kars with her scarf, saying that she could use it to detect any life form within a certain range.

Two basic energies, with diverting capabilities. Both energies repel each other, but why?

Hamon can prolong your life and youth, but only for a decade or two. But the vampire energy has a different effect. It grants Immortality at the cost of being weak to the sun and Hamon.

But the thing is, this energy has to be inside us. Why? Because by using a stone mask, one can become a vampire. The mask works through acupuncture, transforming humans into immortal vampires, and evolving the pillar man.

How can mere acupuncture transform energy? The answer might be inside of ourselves, in our brains. By stimulating a certain area of it, one can become immortal, but at the cost of high hunger and other things.

The only external source used in the stone masks was the Super Aja. That Kars used in order to become perfect.

So this partly answers my question. I can progress further by exploring within myself, or I can study the Aja and similar things.I don't plan on becoming a vampire, but if I can unlock something within myself I will.

There are still many unanswered questions. If someone can become a vampire, why can't vampires become human again?

What really produces Hamon?

What is the connection between both forms of energy?

If life force(Unawaked Hamon) can become VE(Vampire energy), why can't the reverse be done?

Straizo showed us that it's possible for the two forms of energy to appear inside someone when he became a vampire, although this had severe after-effects. Dio also had something similar due to his body being that of Jonathan.

But in neither case was a fusion between both energies ever shown. Dio had over a hundred years to try and experiment with them, he might've tried or he simply forgot, who knows.

The only thing we could consider as a perfect fusion of these energies was when Kars used the super Aja. But that wasn't really explained properly. If at all.

And finally, the other way to improve myself: technique.

If I can't improve my body, can't enhance my Hamon, there is only one solution. Improve the ways in which I produce and utilize what I already have.

But I already studied and mastered all of the forms presented to me. The only way is to create my own or … Go somewhere else. It's not like there is only one temple that teaches Hamon in the entire world. Yes, it originated in the roman empire, but it spread to the rest of the world. According to some books, there were other places that developed it at the same time, like China.

Most of the Hamon users were killed during the war with the pillar man, but this was mostly in Europe and western Asia. Some places like Africa and eastern Asia didn't get affected. Other areas only developed their Hamon after the war.

A lot of knowledge was lost in the war, ancient training methods and their research on Hamon and other energies, even their studies on animals and minerals. That's why there are a lot of ruins scattered around the globe. But they weren't the focal point of the show, so they never appeared.

I had a plan as to how to increase my efficiency in researching Hamon, but the perfect opportunity came in today.

On the gates of the Temple, there was a group of people in an old-style jeep.

From it, an old man appeared, he used an old-style tuxedo and a top hat. This was without a doubt Speedwagon.

Speedwagon and his workers got down from the jeep and started to walk into the temple.

Speedwagon then looked to the side, in my direction, locking gazes with me.

-He might not look like it, But he has already mastered Hamon to a very high level. Enough to be called a master. His genius can only be compared to people like Jonathan.

-NA-NANI?! You aren't joking, are you Straizo?

I nodded my head and proceeded to prepare myself. I breathed deeply and exhaled, golden lighting crackled on my feet. On a 7 meters radius of me, all of the snow was pushed away and pulled into a mound.

-Thi-This is…

-Incredible. Yes he might become the strongest Hamon user in a few years. With him here, we won't need to worry about vampires in the next few decades. If there is any left that is.

(Straizo most likely knew about the pillar men since he received the stone from his master and passed it to Lisa Lisa, who knew who the pillar men were. Speedwagon is likely to know them as well. The reason why he might've become confused in the anime about Santana's identity, was either because everyone believed there were only 3 pillar men in Rome, or that no one ever told him that. There are some holes in this story though.

Speedwagon looked conflicted, perhaps remembering something long in the past.

-But tell me, friend. Why did you come today? Your letter left a lot up for interpretation.

-I finally dealt with the aftermath of the previous incident, so now I will go back to helping the Hamons users. Please, don't refuse my help Straizo-San! All of my fortune was made to repay the Joestar and help clean the world of these abominations!

(For the uncultured, he is talking about the death of Joseph's father, in 1921. The event that made Lisa Lisa a criminal.)

-Let's talk inside then, it's too cold here for a non-trainer like you.

-Come on, I might be old, but I am not weak!

… The hours passed as Straizo talked with Speedwagon. While they talked Speedwagon engineers walked around the place with the disciples, taking notes of all material and supplies needed.

When the talk ended I went to see Speedwagon.

-Hum? Is there someone there? Please enter.

When he saw me his face clearly relaxed, he wasn't wearing his classical hat.

-Hello child. Allow me to introduce myself again, I am Robert E.O. Speedwagon, but everyone just calls me Speedwagon.

-I am John, I don't have a second name though.

This kid, he is much smarter than he looks, although Straizo said that to me, I was still skeptical. He is waiting to ask me something, he doesn't seem to have any bad intentions… Let's hear him.
