Chapter 57: Last Favours.

"Little Boss, are you just going to let them get away" Rough said Sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Let them be, no matter what Jaze says to her she won't believe him, human have hardheads you know?, she might have escaped death this time around but I'm sure she won't escape it the next time we come across each other", She smiled broadly while their horses head back to the Royal palace.

"Thank Goodness I'm now free from all your bondages Liza, I've returned your favour so don't trouble me next time on silly matters like this", Ward said angrily.

"Grumpy fellow", she hissed.

"Liza, you are getting married soon, what's up with you and Jaze?", Rough asked.

"That's non of business", she said rudely but that disappeared immidiately then a cute and helpless face replaced it. "I need you guys help... I promise, once all this is done then you can ask me for what ever you want just once, as long as it's in my power", she promised.

"What do you want this time?", Ward asked.

"It's not something to say outside, I'll tell you my plan once we get to the palace", she smiled cunningly.

"Lucina, listen...

"Don't call my name with that filthy mouth of yours", she cut him off.

"Look, calm down...

"You are a demon right?", she asked gazing at him hardly.

"No", he replied firmly. "I can explain".

"I'm not dump, I'm not a fool, so why do you keep on telling lies?, your well kept secret just got exposed and here you are telling me 'No, you can explain', explain what?", she yelled.

"Look Lucina, you need to calm down, all this is a misunderstanding", he said angrily breathing heavily.

"The wings you revealed the other time was also a misunderstanding, right?, the way your hair and eyes suddenly starts glowing too is also a misunderstanding, right?, or do you have an explanation for those as well?", she asked angrily.

"They are curses", he explained.

"Enough!, Everything about you is a curse, you are a cursed man, who cursed you?, is it the devil?, a man living with so many curses would have died a long time ago", she yelled.

"Lucina, calm down...

"Don't tell me to calm down... wait a minute, I spent most of my time with a demon, made friends with a demon, I went everywhere with a demon, I even almost fell...thank God I didn't fall for you, thank God I'm a stone-hearted person who wouldn't just give her heart to anyone..Argh, I just hate you, I HATE YOU, I hate you", she yelled furiously

" Lucina, we can sort this out if only you'll calm down, listen, I'm not a demon, do I look like one to you?", he asked trying to calm her down.

"Yes,....and there it goes, your hair and eyes are glowing red again", she replied furiously.

"Lucina, all I told you about myself is true...

"Nothing about you is true, you have a false personality and Identity, what more do I expect from a demon.. you are a demon, I'm taking to a demon like I'm talking to human, gosh, you really got me, Mr Crown Prince Demon Jaze Quin Zuin"

"Your anger is justified but yo ..

"Of course it's justified and I'm not calming down if that's what you want to say next", she cut him off.

He closed his eyes thinking of what to say next but meaningful words weren't coming, he didn't know how to explain himself.anymore.

He wasn't actually stopping her from destroying their friendship but at least if she wants to leave,. everything should get cleared first.

"I guess you don't have anything to say in defence about your identity anymore Jaze.....do me a favour", she said with a bitter smile on her face, that made him come to his senses a little.

"I don't want us to ever cross part with each other again, this would be our last conversation and our last time meeting each other,we don't have any relationship with each other anymore, as from now on we would act like we never met each other, I'm breaking all tiles with you, we are different and I'll let it stick that way, like she said, it's forbidden for us to have any form of relationship like wise is it for human as well", she said.

That pissed him.

"Now I see the reason why demons hate humans, they don't value relationships", he finally talked.

His voice wasn't calm, it was rather mixed with different emotions.

"I can also say the same to you, at least we don't have false identities, we are proud of who we are and we don't deceive people"

"I don't have a false identity Lucina, fine I lied but that's because I didn't want to loose you"

"I don't want to remember anything, the relationship between us is dead now, we are not friends anymore so there's nothing to remember", she yelled.

"Do me a favour, keep Timaya with you and don't take off the necklace", he said and with that, they all turned in opposite directions and walked away.

I found out about something no one knows at the very last minute.

it's a secret no one else must know most especially not the greedy royals of Domini Kingdom.

But of course, I have to sacrifice something great for it, though it's nothing compared to saving many lives. I had my doubts but I promise you Lucina, the next time we come across each other, if it's not to late then, I vow I won't let you go. Not in this lifetime.

I still have someone I need to deal with, too bad my power seizes when ever I come across you Liza, I'd have burn you down to nothingness, but I still have to play along like a dummy.

Let's say the royals are winning for now, I'll make them feel like the winning team. I don't have enough against you yet and I want you to use your full force against me, I'll know where your full power lies.

Ever since they've been cursed, many kingdoms have broken tiles with them because they think they are beast, foolish/wise leaders, they don't even have enough confidence to face them. Each of the three cursed kingdoms have been independent since then.

That was why no one was there to stop my cruel uncle from taking the throne.
