Mysterious admirer

When I reached home, I was made to rest for the rest of the day while continuously sticking to my bed whereas everyone other than me was sick worried about me after listening to the encounter.

Qingqing was even more because she shivered at the mention of the snakes as she said that it was one of her innate fear which instantly made my eyebrow twitch because bimbo, not only you had a snake husband but so many snakelings as your children in the original story that it's making me want to laugh out loud.

Next day Sam and Eric along with Parker and some other single males again went inside the forest because according to my mates, they can't take any chance specially when the suspect trespasser is a tetra marked feral beast.

All other males who joined the search party were all in tune with Eric because of two reasons, one being the protection of the females while second being the strength of their group leader because they knew that a tetra marked beast can only be defeated by an equivalent opponent and them being the extra support of their team's tetra marked beast will surely ensure their win.

Their win will not only be responsible for ensuring the safety of the females but also help them get browny points in front of the females whom they are trying to pursue.

It was funny and ironical to watch the same males who were showing their clear detest toward Eric earlier were now following his each and every command like faithful dogs wait some cats too.

I kissed both of my mates on the cheeks and waved them byes, Parker also waved toward Qingqing with a smile taking the opportunity because she was also waving her hand to her brother-in-laws, which instantly made my girl blush.

The only person who wasn't happy was Harvey because Eric didn't allow him in their search party and he was asked to stay behind with us, I could clearly see his discomfort so I decided to give him a helping hand.

I stretched my arms as I asked Harvey to accompany us to the 'gathering park' of the village, Harvey nodded and just like this we all three were on our way to our destination which was named by me.

How, you ask? Oh sorry to tell you but now I'm the female of the highest position because I'm the patriarch's mate!

Ofcourse my Eric was given that position without any bloodshed because the last patriarch was one of Eudora's mate and after my feud with her, my mates were ready to take the lives of her mates and only stopped when I requested them because according to me the males were really innocent.

Since Eric and Sam can't harm Eudora like I did because that would be ethically wrong according to their customs so they decided to take the position they had and just like this a single striped patriarch was overthrown by my sexy and hunky tetra striped mate.

Now whenever I pass through the village, I receive slight bows that I exchange with slight nodding to show the respect and sometimes some smiles from single beastmen who don't receive any entertaining reaction from my side.

And amidst this, before we knew, we were at the park where were the other four females who were on good terms with us while Eudora usually disappears the moment she hears that I'm about to come. Good for her...

I greeted all the ladies who now looked a lot different because they all started taking care of their personal hygienes after our suggestions and after using the soap and shampoo that my bimbo created using her encyclopaedia brain.

Her invention of oil already brought an revolution in the field of cooking accompanied with her spices which created our small village a centre of attraction for single males, afterall it was a rare sight that you can see seven females in such a small village and on top of that the ones whose beauty was on different level, so who won't be trying to join such a village?

Now even my four friends came under the category of beauties not only because of the products but also because of the habits they were learning from me, like listening to their males about their choices and my the public display of affection which once brought me trouble too!

Why? Because they took my public display of affection on another level because they somehow comprehended my term 'affection' with mating which gave me a jaw droping show of their wild deeds right in the park!

Since that day, a new rule was passed that no one is allowed to mate in public specially in my vision.

Initially mostly males were dissatisfied but they eventually found a solution and that was to mate inside the forest, in the bushes so as to hide from my sight but who'll tell them that no matter how much they hide themselves, their loud moans were still audible to someone who is on a walk in the forest.

But I can ignore this much because atleast it's not my males who are asking me to do the deed under the sky because according to them they can't let any other unrelated male to see my sensuous look, I knew my men were the best!

Bai and the other four females sat down under the tree to talk while I walked away toward Harvey who was standing beside Ann's male, I called his name and motioned him to follow me.

Harvey instantly came right beside me and asked if there was something I wanted? His question instantly made me laugh as I said "Don't worry, I'm alright and don't need anything right now but there is something I wanted to discuss with you".

Looking at my serious expression he instantly became worried and started asking me, I didn't answer until I found a secluded spot.

I stopped and said, "Harvey, do you want to get strong?"

My question instantly made him halt as he looked at me with a stunned expression, for a moment I noticed the cold sweat on him but he soon concealed it with a sunny smile as he said, "What are you talking about Kyra?" with a small fake laughter.

I looked at him with my straight eyes because his response was just like what Eric guessed it might be, which was a complete denial.

Earlier some days back I asked Eric out of the blue about what I can do to help Harvey because according to me his strength was one of the reason of his low self esteem not only in front of Parker or Sam but even Qingqing too.

Eric slowly caressed my face as he said, "You may not know sweetheart but a male cannot accept or address his own lack of strength in front of others because it's like shattering our honour as a male and because of this he won't accept any help from you or anyone."

"Can't you help him with his training? You teach Sam too, right?"

"Sam is my younger brother so it's natural but I can only teach Harvey if he himself comes to me and asks me to teach him, which is something I don't think he'll do because requests like this are a direct attack on one's self pride"

"Don't worry! I'll make him to come and ask you."

"If that's what you want." and kissed my forehead.

(Present)

"What are you talking about Kyra?"

"Harvey, go and ask Eric to teach and help you train, I promise you that he will accept your request." I said without the slightest change in my voice.

Harvey looked at me with the still shocked expression and said, "I'm sorry but I can't do this."

"Then I'm forbidding you from pursuing my sister." I said leisurely but my words made Harvey to lose the colour of his face as he said in a shaking voice, "W-Why are you doing this Kyra?" while looking at me with horror filled eyes.

I crossed my arms as I said in a still leisure tone, "Harvey~ it was me who allowed to stay by my sister's side and now I'm just making another decision" and shrugged my shoulders.

"But Why?"

"You know the answer yourself" I walked toward him and slowly whispered near his ear "because you are weak".

I noticed that my words instantly made his whole body stiff while I noticed some tightened veins accompanied with his fists so before he could've said something, I continued as I backed off a step "From the very beginning you knew the difference between your and Parker's strength, but the only reason you're still by my bimbo's side is because of her small affection toward you Harvey. But how long do you think this will work?"

I looked at his confused and 'in deep thoughts' expression as I continued, "Harvey, you'll soon realise that your small male honour will not help you the day when you'll be subjected to greater dangers which will not only bring trouble for you but also for my sister".

Harvey looked at me with troubled look, he looked in too much confusion so I said "Harvey, it's time to make your choice so choose one between my sister or your hypothetical male honour." and with this I walked pass him leaving him in turmoil but I still stopped at a distance of three steps and said, "My sister's mates are like brother, to not only me but to my mates too" and walked back toward the gathering park.

On my way back some cute little tiger and leopard cubs instantly encircled me and tactically all pounced on me altogether, looking at their preparatory stance I already sat down and let them jump on me, they climbed onto my shoulder and heads while some were trying to lick my face and arms.

While I was playing with them, all the females including my bimbo came toward me and sat down in a circle.

All of them chuckled when Eve said, "Kyra, what do you think about taking one of my cubs as your mate?"

Qingqing was shocked while I laughed out loud as I said, "Awww~ so this cute thing wants to be my mate? Then he have to grow strong enough that he could defeat Eric in a duel" as I nudged a cute leopard cub on his stomach.

Everyone laughed at my response as Beth said "Look's like Eve's cubs are going to get a hard time in the future"

"What about Ivy? You also want one of your cubs as Kyra's mate?" Asked Ann teasingly.

Ivy chuckled and said, "That would be upto Kyra, but if Kyra ever gives birth to a female cub then I'll definitely make my cubs to pursue her~"

I smiled because of her response but didn't said anything because it was a slight concerning situation for me afterall I still didn't conceive when me and my both mates were putting in so much efforts.

Beth slowly caressed my shoulder when Ivy continued, "You know what Kyra, we all know you'll become an excellent mother." While other nodded.

I smiled and hugged my girls one by one because they all were pretty genuine friends and I liked that about them a lot.

When we had our full of talks and laughter, Harvey came to escort us back when I noticed that the search party was also back with the news that everything was under control because they didn't find any recent trace of any feral.

After having our dinner I went inside our new bedroom with my mates while Bai slept in another newly created room, while lying down between my husbands I suddenly asked "Eric, did you really not found any snake shedding? Not even a trace?"

Eric shook his head while caressing my face but Sam who was hugging me from the other side said "But we found a very big hole inside the ground, from what I can speculate that it was definitely that feral's doing but it was uninhabited."

I rubbed my face against Sam's as I asked if he could take me to see that very place, Sam looked at Eric and after getting an affirmative smile he agreed to take me there.

The next day as planned, I went to the legendary place where my bimbo was supposed to fall and I have to agree that if I hadn't been warned by my mates then I would be the one falling in there because that place was so well hidden that it could be easily mistaken as a normal surface.

With Sam's help I monitored the place from inside out and found nothing which gave me a deep sense of relief because atleast Qingqing won't be able to bring any snake shedding like this.

Eric stretched out a hand to pull me up but I came outside without his help, afterall it was something very easy for me but if it had been some other female then it would have been a hard task because the pit was dug pretty deep.

Just when Eric was looking at me admiringly, Sam proposed the idea of filling up the hole when an idea came to my mind and I instantly hugged Eric as I said, "Sweetheart! Can we use this place to catch prey?"

My question instantly made him confuse, so he asked me to elaborate what I wanted to do?

I explained the idea of catching the prey while using that place as a trap.

Eric was still thinking when Sam lifted me up in his arms as he said that he wants to try the trap method.

In the end Eric agreed because not only one but two persons were looking at him with glittering eyes so he asked me, what kind of modification do I need?

I smiled and started explaining both of them everything, I asked Eric if he could make some sharp wooden spears and fix them in the base while me and Sam collected some thin and weak twigs that we will be needing to make a temporary covering.

Eric was done with his work in no time so we finally placed the covering when Eric asked me, "What will you put as a Bait?"

His words made me to ponder for a while because my bait will decide what kind of prey I'll get and from common sense I could tell that attracting a herbivore by using plants will be the most childish and ridiculous idea because we're literally in a forest with greenery everywhere.

While I was still thinking, Eric said "for this trap you'll be needing meat as bait so I'll catch something for you, but Kyra.... I have to tell you this beforehand that predators are no fool" as he looked at me helplessly.

Eric's words instantly made me pout because it was as if he was telling me how useless my idea was, I know it was useless but hearing it from someone else hurts so I crossed my arms as I said "Humph! I'll catch the prey myself so I don't want you to catch any bait for me."

"Kyra, are you angry?" Eric said while extending his hand to touch my shoulder but I dodged his hand as I replied "No, I'm not angry and just like I said this trap was my plan so I'll take care of everything myself " and with this I turned around and asked Sam to take me to the riverside which was pretty near to the trap.

After reaching, I told Sam that I plan to use fishes as the bait but was interrupted by Eric who also came following us as he said "Sweetheart, you know that no predator like to eat those fishes"

"Humph!" I snorted as I started what was required to create the fishing rod ignoring him.

Sam was helping me with everything while controlling his laugh after seeing my and Eric's petty argument.

Eric sighed and instantly turned into his majestic wolf form and laid down under the tree while keeping his eyes on us without doing anything.

Me and Sam finally caught many fishes so we walked back to the trap where I cutted the fishes using a bone knife professionally and threw them inside, Sam followed my actions and did the same until all the fishes were thrown down there.

I instantly hugged Sam in excitement after completing the task that I forgot that my hands were still smeared with blood, before I could've pulled back Sam lifted me up in his arms as he took me to the river where we had a good bath and when our fun was over I noticed Eric standing beside the tree in his human form holding a new set of clothes that he might have brought back from the home.

Sam got me outside while Eric instantly wrapped me in a fur towel to dry the dripping water, he was doing his work so seriously and meticulously that I unconsciously moved my hands to hold onto his face as I gave him a peck on his lips followed by my words, "I'm sorry Eric...."

Eric smiled with not only his lips but from his eyes too but before he could've said anything else I continued "But I'll show you that I can catch a prey by myself!"

This time Eric chuckled and hugged me while saying "I'll be looking forward to it sweetheart" and with this he picked me up in his arms and told Sam that we'll be going to his cave so Sam can go back first.

Sam agreed when I promised him that tomorrow it will be his turn, so he finally went back only after giving me a deep kiss.

Looks like I'll be having another sleepless week ahead.

From that day on, I added another task in my routine which was to check the trap on daily basis.

For the first four days there was not a single soul other than my dead fishes and some flies which was something I expected but I was still feeling pretty pressurized because what am I going to tell Eric?

I went to the trap on the fifth day without any hope but maybe God listened to my prayers that I found a dead leopard inside the pit which surprised me.

More than surprise, I was confused because how come a leopard fall into this hole? but still I was able to atleast catch something which was sufficient for me so I got up as I ran toward the village while calling for my mates who instantly recieved my calls and came running toward me.

When Eric saw the catch, he was stunned because he really didn't expect any leopard to fall into the hole specially when that place was reeking of fishy smell, but he still didn't say anything because he thought maybe it was a complete coincidence so he said "Looks like I have to take my words back because some predators have really became fool"

I laughed at his statement but said "I would have loved it if it was a deer or a wild boar afterall I don't want to eat a leopard, it feels weird specially when we are close with Harvey"

Sam laughed and said "Don't worry Kyra, we'll use it's fur for your dress while me and brother will eat the meat"

I nodded and just like this after picking up the leopard corpse and rechecking the spears we went back for the day.

The very next morning the person who came to our door was an expected unexpected guest, Harvey.

Harvey looked a bit hesitant and from his body language I knew the reason for his visit which made me think that he indeed took his time to finally come on a decision.

I left him with Eric on his request and went out for a stroll of the village with Sam, hands in hand. When we came back, we got to know that Eric accepted Harvey's request and from the very same day they both were going to get themselves busy in the training.

Qingqing was busy asking the details to Harvey because she wanted to know what was happening while I was busy eating and feeding my mates, after the breakfast I went to the river while Qingqing went to the female's gathering whereas Sam went with Eric and Harvey because he also wants to train more.

After taking a pretty short bathe in the serene environment I went to the trap when my eyes nearly popped out of my eye sockets because today the prey that I caught was a real adult deer.

After looking at the scene the very first question that popped up in my mind was "Have deers also started eating fishes?" Because the quantity of the fishes was definitely less than what it was earlier.

I walked toward the village in confusion when I noticed Parker lurking around my house so I called him, surprisingly nowadays Parker listens to me sometimes so in exchange of Harvey's whereabouts I asked him to bring my prey from the trap.

Parker looked pretty surprised after seeing the trap but only asked some genuine questions so I answered him as he helped me by carrying the prey.

When Eric and Sam came back that day, after seeing such a big deer they were surprised but other than believing what was in front of them, they didn't have any option so they reluctantly accepted the fact that now even herbivore orcs are also falling in a pit that is having the fishy smell.

The next day, just when Eric was about to go to the training, Parker came at our doorstep and requested Eric if he could also come with them.

Sam was pretty neutral but Harvey was definitely wasn't very happy whereas Eric looked in pretty deep thoughts. After five minutes of Eric's silence and Parker's continuous requests, Eric agreed and the four of them went away.

Today when I went to the trap and found another unexpected prey, a wild boar to be precise a thought came to my mind "what if this is all Eric's doing? It's possible that he felt sorry for me and decided to help me!"

So I decided to interrogate my hubby tonight but before that the most important task in my hands was to get the prey out of the trap and carry it home so I searched for someone nearby and surprisingly found one of Ann's males who helped me and in return I shared a thigh portion with him.

That day I had a pretty good conversation with Eric in the evening but surprisingly he made a swear in the name of beast God that he didn't do anything which was affirmative yet confusing for me, so I decided to let go of that matter as I continued listening to Sam's stories about their training.

Its been fifteen days since the incident of random and unexpected preys that kept on happening everyday and here I'm sitting on the riverbank with my fishing rod catching the bait after retrieving today's prey which was a wild boar and three fat rabbits.

From what was happening, I could tell that this was definitely not normal or a natural occuring which means that it was something intentional but even when I tried to find track of anyone around, I was left empty handed. Not only me but even my males didn't find any scent around that place.

I wanted to find the identity of this person who was going this much of length for the offerings which made me question if that mysterious person was my pursuer?

If that's the case then I don't think It'll be a bad idea to give him a chance which unconsciously made me to mumble "I hope if he could show himself in front of me..."

"You want to meet me?" A calm yet cool sounding voice came.

"Huh?" I turned toward my left to look at the source of the voice only to find a man, nearly completely submerged in the river while leaning on the surface with his arms showing his head and a small portion of shoulders above the surface.

Long straight silky black hairs covering his shoulders, rest of it was floating on the water surface while the fair and pale beauty was looking at me with his clear ocean blue eyes.

The moment I looked at him, I was mesmerized because the person in front of me looked like an exquisite beauty. The fair skin tone while features like those beautiful unusually red lips that looked slightly feminine but were looking the best on him.

Beautiful face with beautiful eyes while the thing that was adding even more charm was that beautiful smile on those red lips.

The moment I saw him, I knew that I can't let this man go without an introduction so while coming out of his enchantment I said, "Are you the one who has been putting preys in my trap?"

He nodded his head with a smile and said, "Not 'putting' because I lurked and pushed them".

I nodded on his instant explanation as I continued my questioning "Why did you do that?"

"For you, you didn't like my gifts?" He asked while showing the most innocent expression which hit my heart on the right spot.

"That's what I want to know, why did you give me gifts?" I asked because I wanted to remove any possibility of him being a mere passersby or my bimbo's fan.

My words made the guy in front of me chuckle all of a sudden and believe me this was the first time when I saw flowers and rainbow around a person whenever he smiles.

While I was enthralled, he said in his calm voice "Isn't that obvious? I'm trying to pursue you, so please tell me whether you like my gifts or not?"

His words got me choked on my own saliva because Damn! He is really here for me!

I know It's wrong as a woman with husbands but beleive me the person in front of me got my heart at the very first sight. Looks like I can fall into beauty traps too...

I cleared my throat while controlling my lips that were automatically arching up and said, "I liked your gifts so thank you but I would like to get an introduction from my pursuer."

He again gave another killer smile and replied "My name is Kai, a snake beastman" he paused and looked at my widened eyes and continued "a black one, specifically" with a wink.

What was that wink supposed to mean? Wait a minute, is he trying to flirt with me?

That's not the main point, how come I'm meeting another snake beastman!

When Kyra was busy pondering, Kai was observing the random changes on her face with a smile and when she didn't speak up for a while he said "What happened? Are you also prejudiced against snake beastmen?"

I looked toward him to find that he was showing a hurt expression on his face which instantly made me worried but what was more concerning was his words so I decided to ask before I show him that I liked it when he was smiling.

"What made you think that I'm not prejudiced against snake beastmen?"

After seeing me finally speak, he showed that beautiful sunny smile again and believe me that was enough for me to die peacefully!

"Didn't you said that you liked black coloured snake beastmen?"

Now his words again made me to rethink and suddenly recalled my short conversation with Curtis but that time, I just named black colour randomly!

I looked at his smiling face and said "If I had said I liked blue snake beastmen, then?"

"They don't exist" he replied nonchalantly while shrugging his shoulders without changing his expression.

I laughed at his response and said after taking a deep breath "So how did you know about my conversation? I don't think you were nearby, right?"

Kai chuckled all of a sudden and said "Of course I wasn't here but wild snakes were and that's from where I heard of a female who is not afraid of snake beastmen and preferred one with a black colour" in a slow pace while focusing on each and every word.

"Looks like there is no privacy in the woods too~" I replied sarcastically which made Kai and me laugh.

I've to say that this is the first time I met with a beastmen who could understand and make such sarcastic remarks which was quite refreshing and what was more surprising was the fact that he was a sanke beastman who were portrayed like a stoic and unexpressive beings in the story.

I looked toward him to find his clear blue eyes were already looking at me, so I finally decided to introduce myself "Sorry for the late introduction but my name is Kyra and I've two wolf mates"

Kai smiled and said that he already knows which made me wonder for how long he has been noticing me for?

"Kai, you are pursuing me while knowing I've two mates already, right?"

"Ofcourse, why do you ask so?"

"Nothing, just because I heard from somewhere that snake beasts don't like to share their mates" I replied because everything I knew about snake beastmen was according to the point of view of a single snake in the story while the beastman in front of me was clearly breaking that picture one by one.

Kai, for the first time looked in some deep thoughts so I silently waited for him to answer.

After some deep pondering he said, "What you said can be true for some beastmen but not for all", I nodded my head in understanding when he continued teasingly "But if we talk about a female beautiful like you, then I think I'll also prefer her to mine only"

I glared at him at the end of his statement which made him laugh out loud as he said, "I'm sorry if that made you angry, in reality I can't separate you from your mates because I have seen with my both eyes how important they are to you"

I gave a deep sigh of relief because for a moment I thought he might do what he was saying, looks like I'm still intimidated by Curtis.

"...and it's not like I can do anything against a two and a tetra striped beast" he shrugged his shoulders while smiling helplessly.

I looked at him with a smile because the person in front of me was definitely pretty interesting and I don't know why I was enjoying his company even when it was the first time we met so I decided to say what was in my mind "Kai, can you show me your beast form?"

I noticed that his eyes brightened all of a sudden and he hurriedly nodded his head, without waiting a further second he turned into a humongous black snake and came out of the river slithering slowly.

Beleive me, that was the most beautiful snake I had ever seen!

Black lustrous shine with shining clear big blue orbs with black vertical slits.

Kai slithered toward me and coiled his twenty metre long body in front of me while placing his big snake head at my accessible level.

I unconsciously reached out my hand on his scaly body and just as I could recall, it was cool and silky.

My lips unconsciously turned up while my hands were roaming all over his scaly body when a sound came "Kyra, why are you not afraid of snakes?"

I looked from my peripheral vision that he turned into his half beast form with upper body as human, this was the first time I got a proper look at his upper body and he was having a muscular body which was on a leaner side if I compare it to my Eric but was a little bulkier than Curtis.

The pretty obvious thing that I noticed were scars, not one but a lot on his front and maybe on the back too.

I didn't look too much because it could be something that can make him uncomfortable so I replied to his earlier question, "I used to have a black snake as my pet, by pet I mean I was taking care of it as it's owner"

"I didn't know wild snakes were this intelligent that they will not bite their owner" Kai said with slight confusion.

"Who said that they don't bite? It's just that...I pulled out his fangs when he once tried to" I said while giving him an evil grin.

I noticed that Kai was still looking stunned so I teased him by saying "What happened? Regretting your decision of pursuing me~"

My words instantly made him chuckle and he said "How can I regret my decision? It's just that I was thinking if I had made any mistakes or not because looks like it'll cost me my fangs" dramatically.

I laughed and said, "Don't worry, I can't even think about hurting my mates, lest doing it" while stroking the snake tail.

"Then do you accept me as your mate~" suddenly Kai whispered with his calm voice in a sensuous tone, with his hot breath touching my skin right on my ear which caught me off guard as I jumped in surprise just to get hugged by him.

"Can I take it as a yes, Kyra?" He again whispered but this time I covered my ear beforehand and looked at him with a grin as I said "I can say 'Yes' right at this moment but I've to get an opinion from my mates too~"

I was still grinning when I noticed that his smile suddenly faded and he showed a hurt expression which immediately made me to ask him "What happened? Why such a sad expression?"

"Kyra... I'm a stripeless beast whereas your mates are so strong... I don't think they'll accept me" he said while showing the most innocent and heartbroken expression which was enough to hit my break my heart.

I instantly cupped his face and said, "Don't worry, I know my mates are not shallow and believe me Sam will definitely love your company!"

Kai finally smiled and I felt my soul reviving, he gently caressed my cheek with his big cold hand and said "That would be the biggest reward for me"

I blushed and smiled altogether and distanced myself from him, I looked at the sun and decided that it was time to get back home so I skipped putting the bait because now I just don't felt like it, secondly I was having someone important whom I had to introduce into the family as soon as possible.

I asked Kai if he would like to meet my mates today? Surprisingly he was more enthusiastic then I could've guessed.

We finally decided to walk back to our house, after listening to my words Kai instantly changed into his human form instantly but what was more importantly, was the fact that he was naked.

Kai was taller than me, maybe about Eric's height while his hair were crossing his knees and this was the time when I came to realise what author was trying to say when the story mentioned that Curtis had two ding dings!

I bashfully covered my eyes while saying "Kai! Cover yourself with that shawl please!" As I pointed toward a thin fur shawl that I usually carry for it's multiple uses.

"You have two mates Kyra, yet you're still shy while looking at a naked male~" Kai teased me but when I removed my hands, he already tied the shawl around his waist which was a relief and just like this we started our walk.

During walk, I finally asked him the question I was itching to ask "Kai, how did you get so many scars?"

"These...most of them are done by flying beast orcs, I loved travelling so sometimes getting in conflicts with flying orcs was inevitable" he replied, I nodded in understanding and asked him some other random questions about his likes and dislikes when he told me that he loved eating the fishes.

"How old are you Kai?" I asked.

"How old do I look to you?" he questioned me back with a smile so I thought for a while, looking at him up and down I replied "In your late twenties, maybe?" Because from what  I could see, he looked a little younger than Eric while he was definitely elder than Sam.

Kai showed his brightest smile and said, "You're totally right Kyra!" with full enthusiasm.

Looking at his enthusiasm, even I was taken aback but when I saw Kai's smiling face I knew nothing else matters.
