Third Mate

I walked toward my home with my newly earned or maybe caught pursuer who was having a merry smile sticking to his face just like the children who got to go to the fest for the very first time.

Since our house was not in the main village, we reached back home without meeting anyone on our way.

From a far distance I caught the sight of Sam who was cleaning the prey outside. I smiled and looked toward Kai to just say "Now Run!" with which I ran toward my hubby while calling out his name.

Hearing his name, Sam smiled and finally looked up because even after sensing his mate's arrival he wanted to see what she will do.

Sam and Kai were in the search team along with five other single beastmen, they embarked on their three days journey while I was left with a lot of confused thoughts that I was trying to frame in a plan.

He is staying low just because of the fact that one day you'll accept him but since you're are not doing it willingly then he can challenge Harvey for being your mate, and you already know what duels can result in."

"But-" she tried to speak but I cut her off with my words " Bai, remember, if one day someone as powerful as Eric decides to take you away, your only mate will die in vain so don't you think that it's best to atleast have more than one mate for not only your protection but for the protection of your mates to."

I looked at her troubled expression and got up to stretch my arms and finally told her to think about it while adding a sentence in the end, "if you still think having only one mate will solve your trouble, then that male will never be Harvey" while giving Harvey a look which told him to persuade her as I went away as I gave Bai a time limit of three days to make her decision about the mates.
