4 Chapter 4 - USB

"Why don't you just destroy the USB then and there?" I asked curiously, it would be dumb if they only realized now.

" In that deadly secrect also has someone's secret that the entire organization has to know, it was left by the previous boss. We tried to delete the files of the nuclear weapon but there were passwords.. with a "s". Alot, we hacked into like 24 passwords but we could not open the rest. We have to bring it to Arthur because he knows the codes." Nile said quietly then he asked my sister for food.

"previous boss?" I asked.

"He was killed when someone stole the USB and left something inside the USB. We did not know the secret but We think it is his will of the next boss." Nile said.

"oh my gosh." I sighed and slept throughout the flight after gathering my thoughts then I was woken up by my sister when the plane landed and the captain greeted us off.

"they are here." my sister said as Nile croutched from his seat wearing a cap . I looked to see 2 men in suites outside. "How in Earth did they find us? And how, how?! did they come here first?" I asked in frustration. I just woke up and BOOM I will probably start running again. Nope, not today.

We slowly exited with hats on but they were inspecting everyone's faces while one had a paper and just by chance I saw Nile's face.

"We will start running ok?" Loise said.

"Do not dare do this to me. Please no", I said

"In 3." She continued.

"Loise, please. You know I will-" she interrupted me saying "2."

"Do not do this to me please pity me." I said it fast with desperation in my eyes while Nile is ready to run. I rolled my eyes.

"1, run. Gogogo." She said as she ran with Nile. She just ignored me. Her only brother. I felt offended

But Pffftt only her and Nile ran, I was just like staying pretending i know nothing and looked shock. Oh gosh the 2 men chased them and I safely passed through. "idiots." I murmured and I grinned.

They ran and ran. "Where is Carl?!" Nile said while running the paths and curves. They ran through the halls and gates. "That smart unloyal dog." Loise said to herself but Nile heard it. They passed by the parking lot and crossed some streets. They thought it is gonna take forever to loose them since they called backup with cars. They entered the Chinese market and disguised themselves. They finally lost them in the Chinese market with the crowd.

Loise sat down in relief and got her phone and called Carl.

"Pant pant pant*" Nile panted heavily and sat on the floor getting his cigarette. He lit it and inhaled the smoke. Loise took the cigarette away and said, "cigarettes are bad for you." She threw it on the floor and stepped on it. " You should stop smoking..."

"It can cause fire."

I got our bags and walked out slowly. I walked out of the building and saw a lot of chinese. Chinese food, chinese buildings, chinese people, and things "made in China".

"Wow..." I said amazed. It was my first time going out of my country and this feeling felt special, I almost forgot my problems. "This is amazing." I said as I smiled.

I was bringing 2 luggages and so I brought them with me.I just walked along the streets..lost and I wandered through alleys and it seems like I entered a shortcut of some sorts and entered a new street. I saw dancing dragons, people with costumes, its like a festival. There were so many happy people and enjoying.

I passed by a whole family together laughing and enjoying. I felt envious but also sad since it reminded me of my family years ago...many years ago.

I entered a big, red gate. It was bustling with people buying and selling.

I bought a candy looking thing with a stick and it looked yummy and I was right it was delicious. I was about to buy another until I recieved a call from my sister.

Oh shoot, I did not know if I should answer it or not I was in panic that I accidentally dropped my phone. "Aw, not my phone. I just bought that like 7 years ago." I said and I picked it up. Sigh, there was a crack then I snapped when I missed the call. "Oh gosh, I am gonna be next to be hit on the floor." I was like a rock standing there blankly what to do as my expression froze on my face and I stopped when I realized people were looking at me like an idiot.

I quickly stood up and walked away with embarrassment, I had no load (cuz am broke) so I have to wait till my sister calls me again.

I looked to my right and guess who I saw?

Frick, run. I ran and ran. Why is Roger here? Together with those men who chased Nile. Don't tell me he is part of this too. I think he spotted me since like the men are chasing me.

The luggage was slowing me down so I left it in an alley and climbed the ladder to the roof and brought up the ladder. They wondered where I went but they spotted our bags. One of them brought the bags and went off, I guess to Roger.

Luckily I brought my wallet with me and my sister brought her sling bag with her which had our passport, girl's stuff and the USB. There was nothing to worry. I viewed them from above and almost spotted me. Almost only though but just like a typical coincidence my sister called.

They 100% sure heard it becuase they were staring at the roof. I answered the phone and...

"Carmen, where are you?" She asked me. I had no time to argue with her for not saying my right name.

"I have no idea." I said, "but I am being chased right now and I will talk to you later about your timing." They started to parkour their way up the roof by the "power of friendship." (Basically teamwork) and I grabbed the ladder and vertically faced it to the other house and started walking on the ladder. Doing the same thing to the house next. Loise was still on the phone with me telling me to go to a dim sum restaurant. I finally saw it while I was on the roof I just went down the house using the ladder and started running. She told me to make sure I lost them in the Chinese market and change to festival clothing with the mask on and dance... not my forte but I did what she said.

I went to the dim sum place with my costume that I bought with my remaining money. I had no tome to haggle. "I was getting away then you called me and I was spotted." I complained. I swore I heard Nile snicker. "I got no money no more we have no place to stay." I said. "Maybe Arthur can lend us a place to stay." Loise said.

We started looking for his place. Then we did. We were standing in front if his door. as in a hotel.

*ding dong

We rang his door bell.

He opened the door,

"Yes?" It was a welcoming tone.
