10: At the Park

"Are you free this Saturday?" Mila moved away from Caleb's lap and began to walk away from him to sit in a different chair.

"I am, why?"

"There is something I want to give to you. Wanna date?" Mila was thinking about it first and decided to give him a yes response. "Then we will meet at nine in the morning. I would like to pick you up, is that okay for you?"

"Hmm, sure. Just tell me before going here so I can at least know." Mila heard Zandro giggle which made her. "See you on Saturday, Zandro."

"Yeah, see you."

And both of them dropped their phones. Zandro was looking out the window imagining their date that would be held on Saturday. Zandro is excited about it which makes him flattered.

Mila puts her phone in her pocket and looks at Caleb who is staring at her seriously and moves his head to focus on the papers on his desk. Mila wanted to talk with him but she knows that he is mad.

They always do that thing whenever they like but they know each other that they cannot be together. Both of them accept the deal they will be just best friends with benefits but deep inside the two have feelings for each other but they just keep on hiding it. Especially since Mila doesn't really like to be in a relationship because of her work. She already resigned from the organization that she is working for but the owner of that organization doesn't let her.

Mila doesn't want to let Caleb be involved in her work. She is afraid that if people find out about her identity, all the people who want to take her head will immediately attack her loved ones just to blackmail her. She really doesn't want to be in the city as Mila is used to hiding from people for years but she needs to do this to take revenge.

"I'll get going now." Mila was waiting for Caleb's response but she got none. She just decided to walk away in his room without a word. After Mila left, Caleb let out a sigh and tightened his grip on the pen causing it to break. Caleb is jealous and wants to beat Zandro but he knows that he can't.

Mila was walking on the street with her bag as she decided to go to the park. She told her driver that he would just pick her up if she texted him. Mila saw an empty bench and sat on there. The evening was about to come and the lights in the park were about to light up

She saw many children around, playing with their families. She felt pain at the same time seeing these children could be able to do it with their families. Mila had no one. All of her family were dead and the only person that she thought she had was dead because of Zandro. She let out a sigh and just kept on staring at the children.

Moments later, Mila could sense someone was walking towards her and suddenly, the person sat beside her. "Who are you?" Mila asks the man without even trying to look at him but he just giggles and speaks without looking at her too.

"You're really mean. Who else knows about your real identity? Of course me, you bitch." Mila wanted to burst out after hearing what the man said. She wanted to punch him in the face but she helped herself remain cool and calm.

"Stop bushing around the bush, Tyler." The man giggled. He is the one who tells Mila about the news of her and Zandro. He is the one whom she trusted and of course, since business is business, Mila always pays him for what he can give to her.

"I really don't have something to say to you right now. I was just walking by and then I saw your shadow and decided to sit with you." Mila rolled her eyes and didn't respond to what he said. Both of them were just staring at the kids cheerfully playing with their parents.

Tyler and Mila were both orphans. Mila is the youngest while Tyler is an only child. The only thing that made the two become best friends immediately was that they shared the same stories.

Mila was busy looking at the people in front of her when Tyler suddenly spoke causing her to move her eyes to look at him. "You are already twenty-eight years old Mila and will be at the age of twenty-nine next year, when do you plan on having babies?"

"Don't ask me about my personal shits, Tyler. I don't have any slightest interest in having a family. Taking care of babies is a big responsibility and I don't think I am ready for that." Tyler just laughs at her causing Mila to raise her eyebrows.

"If you will become a mother I would prolly pray for your daughter or son and even for your husband. Instead of taking care of them, I bet you're just gonna go on a rampage causing your kids and husband to run away from you. You are very short-tempered." Mila properly sits to face Tyler.

"And how can you imagine that, huh? You're just underestimating my skill to become a wife and a mother!"

"Oooh, that means, the great Lilith really has a plan on having a family, huh?" Mila was shut upon hearing it. Of course, she wanted to have one but she knew she couldn't. It is very risky for her to make a family.

"Shut the fvck up, Tyler. Can't you just get away from me? If you won't I will kill you right here right now." Tyler immediately stood up.

"Alright, chill. I will get going now!" Tyler was about to take a step when he stopped.

"What?"

"Before that, I would like to say be careful. I know for sure you already know about Zandro, right? He is someone you must not mess up with. That man is extremely dangerous more than what you imagine." And just like that, Tyler left her in the park.

Mila already knows about it from Salvatore. He already knows how dangerous Zandro is but no one can stop her from taking revenge. She will still do it even if it is needed to risk her life.
