Zai

"She did what?" Captain Singh asked as Zai relayed Captain Xu's report on what had happened.

"She says she 'retrieved samples' of that weapon we're supposed to be on the lookout for," Zai replied.

They were standing in the frame garage, next to the laid-down colossus that had been the Ascendant of Steel's combat frame.

"How did you respond?" Singh asked, a worried look on her face.

"I sent back that I'd send someone to retrieve it. That someone is going to be you, Captain," Zai said. "I've sent a briefing package up the chain to Suleika but she's in Mt. Dakun. You're to go out there to deliver a construction frame and wait until you get word to return. Until that happens, I'm sure Captain Xu would appreciate any help you can give her construction teams."

"Understood, Commander. When do I leave?" Singh asked.

"How soon can you be ready?" Zai asked.
