I was hardly able to sleep that night, too much has happened. Axel mentioned for me to meet him in my backyard in two days. it has trees all around, so it's hard to see past the fence much. it was like a mini forest. we had a shed, and we had a swing set with a box full of outdoor toys beside it. it had water guns, buckets, etc. they were mostly for my younger sister whenever she came over. she lived with dad all the way in the city, we don't see them often. I walked down the stairs, there was bags under my eyes. it was easy to tell I was exhausted. I was surprised to see mom downstairs, I guess she had a day off. "Noah, you look exhausted, were you up all night on your phone again?" I shook my head no as I poured some juice into a cup. "you're staying home. you're gonna get in trouble again if you fall asleep in class" I just nodded and took a sip of my drink. I liked how I didn't even have to say anything, she just let me stay home. she doesn't want more calls from the teachers about me sleeping in class, the teachers at my school call about everything.

I woke up, feeling less tired. I didn't know how long I slept, I just remember throwing myself onto the bed and falling asleep. I get tired easily, which sucked. the rest of the day was mostly scrolling through my phone and replaying the events of yesterday. I couldn't wait to see Axel again, and learn from him.

the next day I was able to go to school. it was long and drawn out. I was eager for tonight. I was going to see Axel again, and I'm finally going to learn more about my magic. I remember axel also said somewhere in our conversation he'd take me somewhere special, causing me to be even more interested.

if you made it this far, you should know this book is cancelled, and I've given up on it because it turned out badly. I might make another book of this story to maybe start over, but this one is failed.
