Avengers Meeting(Part 2)

Nick Fury: "Everyone, I present to you file number #33: the Suspicious Prophecy"

All the Avengers looked at Nick Fury weirdly, even his own Agents Natash and Clint looked bewildered by such a weird name. Nick Fury's expression remained neutral as he coughed into his fist and spoke.

Nick Fury: "Ahem. This was something that existed during the era when SHIELD was created. I didn't name this file, it was the other agents at the time. And since we had more important files to tend to, we never got to really rename the file. Besides, despite the fact it is suspicious for existing litteraly everywhere on Earth and beyond, the fact that it said in 10 billion years this being of prophecy will awaken made us think that we had nothing to fear about as by then the earth wouldn't even be alive."

Tony snorted in amusement as he spoke.

Tony: "Regardless of reason, you guys really couldn't have given this piece of information a better name? I mean 'Suspicious Prophecy?' that's just sad man."

Fury's eyebrows twitched in annoyance as he spoke to Tony.

Nick Fury: "Listen here Stark, I don't care what you might think about our naming sense, what's important right now is to make a plan to deal with this possible threat walking freely on our planet."

Tony: "What do you want us to do? Kill this person and start a war against God's? In fact, I'd say that just doing as Hawkeye said is the better option. We just allow him to do as he pleases, and once he actually becomes a threat do we deal with him."

Nick Fury: "Tell me this Stark, what does he have to do to quantify him as a threat? Would him killing a human, robbing banks, committing rape, or even kidnapping count? Or is it only when he becomes a terrorist that threatens humanity will you decide to do something?".

Tony looked at Nick Fury with a disappointed gaze as he spoke.

Tony: "So are you saying that the Avengers should go and kill the group of people you mention before? We may be superheroes, but we're all here for our own selfish reasons. I once owned a weapon manufacturing company. Do you know how many people died to the weapons my former company made? How many possible criminals had used my weapons for their own selfish desires? I'm disappointed director, I'd thought that you of all people would know that humans can do all those things you mentioned. So explain to me what is the point in saying that an alien might do something that humans do as well? Besides, I know for a fact that everyone in this group of ours has killed humans be it directly or indirectly. Even Captain America has obviously killed people considering he is a war Veteran. And if you expect me to believe that he's never taken a life before, your better off trying to convince me that pigs can fly."

Tony ended his words by glaring at Nick Fury just challenging him to try and refute his words. Tony's statement stunned everyone Nick Fury included. And even hearing Tony's words, none could refute him, after all, exactly like he said, most of them were in this group for their own selfish reasons, and they all have their hands stained in blood. Nick Fury just stared at Tony before sighing in defeat as he spoke.

Nick Fury: "I understand what you mean Stark, but regardless, he is still a possible danger to this planet. He must be monitored and possibly exterminated should it be deemed necessary. That is how SHIELD has been since its founding days. We protect the people from unknown dangers."

Tony just shook his head in disappointment. Nick Fury ignored Tony and spoke.

Nick Fury: "Getting back to the topic at hand, these are images taken throughout the world. No matter which country or state, these 'prophecies' exist everywhere, even on the moon and other planets we have seen these strange prophecy."

Although some of the Avengers were disappointed with Fury's words, they decided to ignore it as they now focused on the so called prophecy.

Captain America: "How strange, is this really something that exists in every country? It feels a little far-fetched."

Others were about to agree before an agent came into the meeting room his entire being screaming anxiousness. Nick Fury frowned seeing how scared the agent looked as he spoke.

Nick Fury: "What's wrong agent?"

Shield Agent: "Sir! There are two men outside the Hellicarrier! They destroyed our security weapons and are demanding us to allow them in lest they force themselves inside."

Nick Fury scowled in annoyance as he accessed the security camera only to notice the two men floating outside were none other than Odin and Zeus!

Nick Fury: "Odin and Zeus?! Dammit! Did the agents attack Anos Voldigoad?!"

The sudden appearance of Odin and Zeus also surprised and worried the Avengers as to why they are here. Fury spoke up.

Nick Fury: "Let them in and have the other agents act polite as possible. Bring them to this room and do not raise your weapons on them. Am I understood?"

S.Agent: "Sir, Yes Sir!"

Leaving those words behind, the agent rushed out to allow the two strange men into their base as Nick Fury immediately contacted the agents watching Anos.

S.Agent 1: "Sir? Did something happen that you needed to contact us?"

Nick Fury: "Indeed. The target you're following, have you brought any harm to him?"

Nick Fury could hear the confusion on the other side as the second SHIELD agent replied.

S.Agent 2: "No sir, as you've informed us beforehand, unless the target does something that warrants us killing him, only then do we strike."

Nick Fury breathed a sigh of relief as he continued asking.

Nick: "What is the target doing right now?"

S.Agent 1: "He just finished eating at a Turkish restaurant, and is currently exploring the city. Forgive me for asking sir, but is something bad going on that you needed confirmation on the targets safety?"

Nick Fury: "Indeed. But I have control of the situation. Just continue to monitor the target understood?"

S.Agent 1&2: "Yes sir!"

Nick Fury: "Good. Director Fury out."

Ending his conversation with the agents watching Anos, Nick Fury looked at Thor as he spoke.

Nick Fury: "Thor, any ideas why your father has come here in person?"

Thor shook his head as he spoke.

Thor: "I would like to believe its something to do with Loki, but, it must obviously be something regarding Anos Voldigoad. After all, seeing how different father acted during the first contact with the Demon King, I can only assume that he is most likely here to warn you about whatever it is that involves this Demon King."

Nick Fury took a deep breath to calm himself as the two old men entered the room. Dressed in their armour, and wielding their respective weapons Gugnir, and Zeus's lightning.

Thor bowed before his father as he spoke.

Thor: "Father, for what reason have you left asgard?"

Odin: "It is an obvious guess as to why both I and Zeus are here. We may hate each others pantheon's, but knowing that the Demon King Of Tyranny Anos Voldigoad is currently walking on the planet which our patheons watch over, we want to make sure that he is to be respected for as long as he stays here."

Zeus was the next to speak.

Zeus: "Exactly as Odin said. We may be the respective Kings of our pantheon, but it brings us endless amount worry allowing him to walk among humans."

Tony looked intrigued, Natasha, and Fury looked annoyed, Captain America looked worried, Thor looked surprised, Clint Stood next to Fury with his bow in hand incase something happens, and Hulk was... silent.

Before anything else could happen, a portal opened in the room they were in causing the Avengers to tense up preparing for a fight. And out of it came the Ancient One Yao. She spoke up once all eyes were on her.

Yao: "All father Odin, and King Of Olympus Zeus. I understand your worries about the Demon King Of Tyranny Anos being allowed to roam free among the humans of earth, but I can assure you as the current Sorcerer Supreme, I am more than capable of negotiating with him should the need arise."

Odin scoffed as he spoke.

Odin: "And tell us then O Sorcerer Supreme, how do you plan to negotiate with a being as powerful as Anos Voldigoad? I mean no disrespect, but even I know that Kamar Taj has nothing to offer him that he doesn't already have."

Zeus was the next to speak out.

Zeus: "Wealth, Power, and Authority. These are what decides ones standing in life. Even if me and Odin offered our entire pantheon, and you offered the entirety of your sanctum, its fruitless endeavour as Anos can take it from us if he so pleases, and we can do nothing but to accept it."

Everyone in the room except for Zeus and Odin tensed up hoping a confrontation will not occur as they all stared at Yao as she spoke.

Yao: "Both your words holds truth to them. No matter what we can try to offer him, it's indeed a fruitless endeavour as he has all of that with him."

Yao paused for a brief second before her eyes became more serious as she continued.

Yao: "The reason I am confident in a possible negotiation with Anos is because from what I've seen, read, and heard about him, he doesn't care who talks to him, as long as one does not question the figure who holds the title or insult his family, negotiation is possible."

Odin and Zeus mulled over Yao's words for several minutes, but they were broken out of their thoughts as Nick Fury spoke up.

Nick Fury: "Excuse me all of you, but do you mind filling us in on what you are all talking about? As the current protector of Earth, SHIELD has an obligation to gather information on specific individuals incase they are ever a threat to this world."

All the people in the room looked at Nick Fury strangely. The man was brave and bold enough to demand answers not only from two gods, but also from someone who seems to have a status rivalling both God's.

Yao was the first to answer knowing how the mentality of a god is.

Yao: "Nicholas Joseph Fury."

Yao's words were cut of by a snort of amusement coming from Tony.

Tony: "Heh, Joseph."

Nick Fury had a vein visibly appear on his head as he spoke.

Nick Fury: "Not the time Stark."

Tony: "Right, right. I'll be more serious from now on... Joseph."

Tony started laughing making the others just look at him like he's gone insane. However the next second, everyone froze as a felling of absolute dread befell them all as they all shudder in horror at this feeling of primordial chaos and death. It was the exact same feeling they had felt when Anos had just appeared before them the first time, except infinitely more horrifying.

Pure unadulterated fear. And the feeling that all hope is pointless. They felt themselves being dragged into an abyss. In this abyss, they all felt themselves being stared at by a primordial evil that promised to corrode everything about themselves. Everything from their physical bodies, their souls, all the way down to their roots. Nothing could escape from it's grasp. Eventually, they reached a void of pure nothingness.

And just when they thought they were free from the corrosion, they all started screaming in agony once a pair of beautifully chaotic purple eyes stared down on them all silently judging them. And yet as if it was all a dream, they all appeared back in the room they were previously in discussing about Anos.

And the Demon in question was just silently watching them all gasping for air as if their life depended on it and even how the other more wrathful personally of the human had completely disappeared and ran away making him stare directly at the being called the Hulk in amusement as it tried shrinking itself to avoid Anos's gaze. Anos smiled in amusement as he saw how everyone had calmed down, and so he spoke up bringing all attention on to him.

Anos: "Hello there everyone. My name is Anos Voldigoad. And you all wouldn't stop talking about me, so I came to see what's up."
