134. The Final Wars Begin! Part 2

Elsewhere, Hiiro and the others tried to use their magic and it worked. Avoros' eyes which could neutralize any magic would be effective if Avoros saw someone who used magic before his eyes. Equipped with the talent to detect magic, Avoros was able to tell when someone would use magic, then, he used his eyes to neutralize the magic. Since Avoros' gaze was fixed on Izumi, Avoros couldn't use his eyes to neutralize their magic.

With that opportunity, Hiiro, Eveam, and the others began to use magic one after another. Even though Aquinas, Hiiro, and Leowald were the three strongest people within the alliance, their opponents were surprisingly evenly matched in strength.

Their opponents were Hiyomi, Abyss, and Rudolph in a monster form. Hiyomi can manipulate living beings and make them stronger, although the manipulated living beings will lose vitality and die later. In addition, he has the ability to hypnotize as well.

Abyss can manipulate shadows like Crouch, but is more powerful and deadly. Abyss himself is the only Pheom who betrayed the Pheom Queen and her people.

"Hiiro-sama, let me help you!"

When Hiiro faced Abyss, Silvan approached Hiiro while looking at the opponent. Surprisingly, Silvan's gaze was serious. Hiiro was surprised by Silvan's attitude, he asked.

The spirit forest is the place where Pheom lives. That place is invisible and difficult to reach because of the difference in dimensions. Moreover, everyone would find it difficult to force their way into the spirit forest without the approval of the Pheom King and Queen.

Abyss is the type to be careful and observant. Even though in fact he was wrongly observing Izumi who seemed to have mediocre abilities, it turned out to be very strong. However, when Hiiro's sword stabbed his opponent, the opponent turned into a shadow which then counterattacked Hiiro as if the shadow formed a tentacle.

Hiiro, who didn't have time to dodge the attack, could only think,

"I'm dead!"

But unexpectedly, Silvan used his skill which looked like a dark entity to protect Hiiro. The shadow tentacles collided with the darkness and absorbed them.

"Hiiro-sama, are you okay?"

"You saved me, old man, I owe you!"

Hiiro thought, since his opponent was a shadow user, it would be best if…

Thinking of something, Hiiro wrote words on his body and his sword, then Hiiro started attacking again. Silvan himself did not understand what Hiiro wrote. He also attacked by helping Hiiro from behind.

Hiiro struck again with his sword, ignoring Abyss whose face started to grin. Abyss only thought that Hiiro was stupid, knowing that physical attacks wouldn't work as long as his body turned into a shadow, Hiiro still insisted on attacking with his sword. Abyss used his shadow tentacles to attack Hiiro again.

But as soon as Hiiro's sword nearly hits Abyss's shadow, Hiiro shouts.

"Activate!"

A dazzling light emerged from Hiiro's sword which then cut through the Abyss's shadow. The Abyss screamed in pain, then his original body reappeared with his arm cut off. He looked at Hiiro while gritting his teeth in pain.

"As expected, it works!" Hiiro muttered.

Silvan just smiled at Hiiro's creativity as usual. He always gave a surprise every time he used his magic.

Hiiro wrote the word 'Hikari' which means Light on his sword. And by using delay magic, Hiiro could activate it whenever he wanted.

Hiiro attacked Abyss who was at a loss as to what to do since the light was his fatal weakness when in the shadow state.

Earlier when Avoros ordered his men while come with his troops, Avoros deliberately set fire to the trees in Passion so that the dark smoke produced from the fire covered the hot sun. For that reason, Abyss would move more flexibly when he used his ability. In addition, the dark sky caused by Teckil and Hiiro's magic let him gain more advantage.

However, that was the case if there were no Izumi and Hiiro.

While Abyss's mind was still in turmoil, Hiiro was determined to finish him off. Just as Izumi had said, if Hiiro let all of the enemies live, the world would become more chaotic. It could be seen from their behavior that they didn't hesitate to burn Passion, which many people were affected by.

With Silvan's support, Abyss couldn't get away in the slightest. Hiiro's attack landed perfectly with a slash that landed diagonally from the top.

Abyss cried in pain. But, Hiiro didn't give him a chance to carry out a counterattack. Hiiro stabbed him, then twisted his katana upward.

With that attack, Hiiro sent Abyss back to mother earth.

Although this wasn't the first time he killed someone, his stomach and throat felt hot as if they wanted to expel something. He felt like throwing up after he killed Abyss.

Silvan tried to calm Hiiro down by rubbing Hiiro's back. Then Silvan said.

"Is Hiiro-sama still not used to it?"

"Well, it's very uncomfortable."

"I know, right? I had a similar experience with that too."

At that moment, someone in the appearance of a little girl ran toward him. That little kid has violet hair, purple eyes, and coiled horns.

"Camus?"

"Boss!"

That kid was Camus from the Asura tribe who had met Hiiro in his early journey in the Evila continent. Even though he looked like a little girl, Camus was actually a boy. Even Liliyn was often misunderstood because Camus acted like a girl sometimes.

Camus admired Hiiro after Camus was defeated in a 1 on 1 duel at which time Hiiro was on the same level as Camus. Even so, Hiiro won overwhelmingly with his creativity using magic which made Camus admit defeat. From then on, Camus addressed Hiiro as a Boss.

When Hiiro wanted to leave the Asura tribe, Camus wanted to follow where Hiiro went because he became Hiiro's subordinate. But Hiiro refused because Camus wasn't strong enough and wanted him to train again. If Camus was strong enough, he could come to Hiiro again. Unexpectedly, when the war in Passion happened, Camus came by himself.
