133. The Final War Begins! Part 1

Even though Avoros' offer was unexpected, Hiiro didn't flinch and flatly refused.

"I refuse! Why do I have to be a brat's underling!"

Hiiro's flat rejection was too rude to be heard. Izumi could see Avoros' body was slightly trembling in anger. However, he held back and turned to Eveam.

"Hey, my sister!"

"I told you, I'm not your sister!"

"Well, never mind. I wonder, how did you survive 10 Valkyrias? Even to the point of making them disappear. What tricks did you use?"

Even though Avoros asked with a smile, the surrounding atmosphere was starting to feel cold. Everyone felt anger welling up in Avoros even though he was smiling. The pressure was also released by Avoros which made everyone endure it with all their might. Everyone couldn't help but cramp their faces as each of them understood his overwhelming malice pressure.

Avoros didn't hear any answer so his gaze turned to Hiiro again.

"You're the otherwordler, Okamura Hiiro, that the hero spoke of, are you? By the way, the way you spoke earlier was so rude, don't you think? Why didn't you apologize to me?"

Hiiro's brows twitched. It seemed like the hero had disclosed about him. He was naturally irritated with the hero. However, the person in question fainted.

Looking at Hiiro's expression, Avoros carried on.

"Ah, are you possibly worried about the heroes? I can assure you that they are all fine. I've been treating them with care."

Suddenly everyone heard a chuckle at this tense moment. That person appeared from Eveam's back, and everyone looked at him.

"What a fool, who cares about the hero you captured?" Izumi said in his heart.

Avoros frowned while glancing at Izumi. In Avoros' mind, who still dared to laugh at him after Avoros released the pressure? He looked at Izumi who had Hiiro-like characteristics.

"Are you also an otherworlder? I don't remember the hero mentioning you."

Before Izumi answered him, Rudolph who became a monster saw Izumi then roared. He immediately jumped to attack Izumi. It seemed, even though he had lost his sanity, his instincts could still tell that it was Izumi who had foiled Rudolph's plans before.

Izumi smirked seeing this, an idea popped into his head.

Izumi dragged Eveam back, then he stepped forward and prepared to confront Rudolph who tried to attack him.

Izumi dodged Rudolph's claws that grew on his hands after mutating. Then he unleashed a punch that was aimed at Rudolph's neck.

Rudolph choked after being hit by Izumi's punch. Izumi immediately performed a jumping sidekick that hit Rudolph's chest and made him fly in Avoros' direction.

Following on, Izumi swiftly moved to follow Rudolph who was kicked and flown by him. After that, he drew his sword and prepared to attack. With full concentration, he suddenly ignored Rudolph and turned to attack Avoros who was a short distance away.

Izumi who made a move with his sword seemed to form crescent moon sword slashes. Everyone seemed surprised by Izumi's sudden attack. Most of them seemed helpless in front of Avoros, let alone those who could use magic.

The sword Izumi was holding radiated a pale white light, indicating that it contained a soul attack. Avoros felt a danger he had never felt before, he wanted to dodge, but Izumi's attack was too fast.

An Evila who was beside Avoros deftly acted, she used her ability to manipulate liquids and her body became a shield while shaping her body into a liquid state.

Izumi's sword pierced the liquid body, and the woman who was in the liquid state screamed in pain. She felt the terror she had never felt before, she felt her vitality plummet after the sword pierced through her body even in the liquid state.

"Too bad, you're dead!"

Circulating the spiritual energy within his body, Izumi performed his sword art as a cold aura suddenly burst out around him.

Seeing one of their comrades being killed so easily, their gazes became serious. They looked at each other and nodded like they wanted to do something, but they looked surprised that what they wanted to do didn't work. It made them want to try it one more time.

Izumi smirked at them. His left eye already changed its color even though Izumi himself didn't notice it.

When they were about to use magic again, they suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood.

Izumi had used his "Magic Destabilization" which made their magic backlashed.

Avoros, who had seen Izumi's eye, was dumbfounded. From Izumi's expression, the situation experienced by Avoros' men was clear that it was Izumi's doing.

"What are those eyes? Does it have the characteristics of the demon eye like me? But the demon eye can only neutralize magic, while he is a little different."

While Avoros was still in the train of thought, he heard Izumi yell.

"What are you doing, Aquinas, Hiiro? As long as I'm here they won't be able to use magic, or they'll die from backlash."

"Aquinas?" Avoros was surprised. The report said that Aquinas was guarding Xaos. He didn't expect Aquinas was actually here while hiding himself in the black cloak.

With Aquinas leading the rest of the Cruel Brigade members along with Hiiro and his group, they attacked Avoros' men in unison.

Izumi himself was keeping an eye on Avoros and would stop him if he wanted to do something.

"Avoros, right? I want to ask, were you the one who ordered Valkyria to capture all the summoned people from another world?"

"Do I need to answer?"

"Depending on your answer, I can let you die with or without pain."

Hearing Izumi's arrogant words, Avoros clenched his fists which were shaking with anger because someone looked down on him. He calmed himself down and asked.

"So you eliminated the Valkyrias? Otherwise, you wouldn't know about them. However, I doubt it. I believe you'd used a dirty trick to seal them. Am I right?"

He would not believe that if Izumi was able to eliminate the Valkyrias alone, Izumi must have been helped by someone. His eyes glanced at Hiiro, Liliyn, and Silvan. Avoros was pretty sure that Cruel's movements were already in Avoros' hands at that time, except for Izumi and the three people he glanced at.

"Why don't you answer my question first? You always change the subject, should I assume that you were the one who ordered Valkyria?"

Avoros didn't answer, he just looked for an opening to attack Izumi.

"I take your silence as the "right" answer."

It wasn't long after Izumi said that. Without warning, someone attacked Izumi from behind using twin short swords. He is an assassin who can camouflage with his surroundings. His aura was almost undetectable due to his skill in concealing his own presence.

Without turning around, Izumi swung his sword backward while shouting.

"Don't interrupt other people's conversation!"

Izumi slashed the assassin's throat, his camouflage was also canceled. His ability to camouflage made the assassin invisible to the naked eye. Too bad, Izumi could sense him with Kenbunshoku Haki.

Avoros did know what his men were going to do. When the assassin was behind Izumi and was about to attack with his twin short swords, Avoros prepared to step forward to finish him off. But what he saw made his eyes feel like they were about to pop out.

Earlier, he saw Izumi's eyes changing color, then her men spit out a mouthful of blood. And after that, without changing the color of his eyes, he could tell the position of the assassin that wasn't even visible to the naked eye.

When he saw his ability to backlash other people's magic, Avoros already considered Izumi as a serious threat. And after that, he showed another ability as if he could sense someone without having to look. He didn't know what to do against Izumi without his artificial demons.
