Special Abilities Bureau
After settling Sophia's parents to their home, Ban spend his remaining hours to Sophia in his house before heading to the military camp.
Sally left a note that she was going to work at the restaurant.
Ban didn't let Sophia move her things back to her home and told her that the room was hers. Sophia agreed happily and gave Ban hugs and kisses for the whole afternoon.
Ban also imparted her a couple of skills for her to practice alone.
Sophia reluctantly went home after Ban told her that he was going for work.
Ban gave her another moment of warmth in his embrace before sending her home.

5 30 in the afternoon...
Ban suddenly appeared like a shadow in front of the gate of military camp. He casually walk inside without the guard noticing his arrival.
Arriving at the building, Ban proceeded directly outside of the General's office. Ban already noticed General Vernard long ago so he knock on the door.
"Come in."
General Vernard was having a nice tea in his desk looking at the sunset outside the window. He didn't look like a General at the moment but a man enjoying his life in retirement. He look so defenseless in his position.
"Ahem... I have come to report Sir." Ban cough and interrupted Vernard from his stupor.
Vernard raise his brow hearing the familiar voice. He turn his chair and look at Ban in surprise. He said "You are late young man." His voice sound like casual but there was a hint of complaint within.
Ban scratch his head while shrugging his shoulder. He make some bullsh*t reason "Something came up earlier so my schedule was delayed for the day." He wouldn't tell Vernard that he spend his time with his women the whole day. Anyways, he already reminded Vernard about being busy everyday.
Vernard raise his brow and nodded. He pointed at a camouflage bag beside Ban and said "Your new things are in there. That lass Eliza prepared it for you this morning. She was expecting your arrival but even your shadow didn't arrive." Vernard smirk and continued "She left dejectedly earlier. You should at least give her a call you know. How about this.. give me your phone, I'll register her number on it."
Ban twitch his brow looking at the obvious action of the middle-man in front of him. However, thinking of Eliza's cheerful attitude became downcast, he grab his phone and passed it to Vernard who brighten his eyes in delight.
"Right..Right.. Remember to call her every hour of the day to cheer her up. You are partners, don't forget to inform her if you have an update in your schedule okay?" Vernard registered Eliza's contact number in a flash as if he remembered it like a back of his hand.
Ban twitch his lips this time. He thought in his mind 'Are phones even allowed while training in the camp?' He receive his phone and he suddenly raise his brow and turn around.
The door open and a person came in without knocking outside.
"Grandpa, I receive a report from- huh?"
The person who just arrived was Eliza carrying a stack of report. She immediately stop reading it when a shadow block her view.
"Hello Ban! Its nice to see you again!"
Eliza open her eyes wide when she recognized Ban after dazing. She greeted Ban excitedly.
"Yeah! Hi! I'm sorry I've made you wait earlier." Ban scratch the back of his head apologizing.
Eliza warp her expression as she was confused.
"*Ahem* The sunset is so beautiful." The voice of Vernard suddenly rang out behind.
"Oh grandpa! Huh? The sun have already been set. What are you talking about grandpa?" Eliza look at the window and it was already dusk.
Vernard roll his eyes and said "Earlier, I was saying that the sunset was so beautif- anyways, what are you doing here? You didn't even knock the door you little brat." He scolded his granddaughter to avoid his awkward situation.
Ban already guessed something and he shook his head. He found a seat and sat down.
"Oh yeah. I received a report from the Special Abilities Bureau that there are another case involving Divergents happened last night outside the City. They said that they will handle the case and need your approval for us to cooperate with their newly arrived team. Their team leader is now heading to this camp to select a soldier to assist and guide them in the investigation." Eliza narrated the report.
Vernard was silent for a moment.
Ban was also the same. He thought about the men he killed last night. He was planning to report this incident to Vernard but resisted now that another team was investigating the matter. He thought 'Special Abilities Bureau? Is that some kind of organization in the government? Seems like they were a group of people dealing with crimes related to Divergents.' He was looking forward meeting these guys.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
Vernard raise his brow hearing the hurried knocking outside.
"Come in."
A panting soldier said "Sir, theres a situation at the gate. Someone was trying to harm the soldiers guarding the gate." The soldier didn't even salute and hurriedly reported.
Both Vernard and Ban stood up in their seats.
Ban look at the location of the gate and made a frown.
"What's the matter? A simple issue and you can't handle it?" Vernard scolded the soldier.
Before the soldier could reply, Ban spoke up "I guess that team leader guy is now at the gate causing a ruckus."
Vernard's expression change and he immediately walk out following the group of Ban.

At the gate...
Two military soldiers were laying on the ground while twiching their bodies and unconscious.
There was a young man and three young women surrounding the two soldiers.
The young man was good looking and tall. He had a shoulder length silver hair making him look elegant. He had an arrogant face like anybody was beneath him. The thing noticeable in him was a silver lightning flickering around his whole body from time to time.
The two women were twins with both short black hair. Both of them has a slim sword in their hand. They were protecting the young man from both sides.
While the remaining woman was leaning in the car crossing her arms without caring if the soldiers die or not. She has a long elegant black hair with a hint of mischievousness in her phoenix eyes.
The three women were beautiful with their own charm like they were daughters from a rich people.
"Bastards! Can't you f*cking tell that I have an appointment with your general? A lowly being like you deserves to die for blocking my way." The silver haired young man kick both soldier's stomach causing them to vomit a mouthful of blood.
Many soldier already notice them earlier. Some of them carried their weapons aiming at the new arrival. They didn't start shooting fearing their unconscious comrade might become their meat shield.
"What is going on here?!"
Vernard's loud voice echoed at the back of the soldiers. He was angered seeing his men got kicked by the young man.
"What is the meaning of this?! If you don't explain right now.." Vernard raise his right hand. The soldiers position themselves, ready to fire at the target.
The silver haired man felt intimidated about this. Even the young woman leaning in the car turned vigilant.
"My name is Anthony James. I am the team leader that the Special Abilities Bureau sent here to investigate the matter regarding the incident last night." He present an I.D and continued "These soldiers stopped my team from entering the camp and tried to attack us so we decided to retaliate."
Anthony didn't think the general in this place was so decisive so he played it cool and spout some nonsense.
Vernard had a frown on his face but he wave his hand. He knew the young man was lying to him but he can't offend their organization so he assigned the soldier nearby to carry the unconscious soldiers on the ground to the infirmary.
Soon, the soldiers dispersed remaining Ban, Eliza and Vernard facing the team at the gate. Vernard didn't even invite them inside as he was dissatisfied by the attitude of the group.
Anthony sighed in relief inside and he turn back to his arrogant personality.
"I came here to request for soldier guiding us in this city. I only need one, after 3 days the soldier can go back."
Vernard sneered inside and spoke indifferently "After doing that to my soldiers, do you think somebody will guide you in this city? I don't think that's a good idea, don't you think so?"
"HAHA! It was just a misunderstanding earlier. And I feel like I already chosen a soldier." Anthony glance at Eliza who was beside Ban with a smile. He already noticed her the moment she arrive. Looking at the lovely face of hers, Anthony cannot wait to have a good time with her.
