<General perspective>

After Sloane was convinced by Ava about OT-2x, she took the pill.

In just a few seconds, Sloane felt her brain and body become more active. She felt fresh and energetic. She looked at Ava in surprise and asked eagerly, "How hasn't this pill reached the market yet?"

Ava replied with a sigh, "Because some senators have put conditions on the approval, and I don't want to accept those conditions."

Sloane nodded, understanding what Ava was trying to say, knowing that politicians often take advantage of every possible situation.

Sloane looked at Ava and said, "Okay, I will help you, but if your political party does something illegal that would harm the public, I will bring it down myself. And I want those pills."

Ava nodded, handing Sloane a packet filled with OT-2x, and said, "One pill lasts for 4 to 5 days depending on you, but you need at least 4 hours of sleep. Otherwise, your body won't be able to keep up with your mind."

Sloane nodded, taking the packet, and asked, "So, how many members are there in your political party?"

Ava smiled warily and replied, rubbing the back of her head, "Well…" Ava hesitated as she looked at Sloane.

Sloane's expression turned blank as she said, "You mean, I'm the first."

Ava nodded and said, "Kind of. I don't know much about politics and don't want to learn, so I didn't even try to recruit anyone. I'm giving you full authority; you can recruit whoever you want and be the mastermind behind the party."

Sloane thought for a moment and asked, "I can do that, but how much funding do you have to run the party? We need a lot of funds to run campaigns and other things."

Ava replied, "Does a hundred million dollars work?"

Sloane shook her head and said, "A hundred million can only run the party for 8 to 9 months. During elections, we might need more than a billion dollars."

Ava looked at Sloane and laughed.

Sloane, watching Ava laugh, asked, "What's funny? I'm serious here."

Ava stopped laughing and said, "When I said a hundred million dollars, I meant I would provide it each month. And I can provide more than two billion dollars during the election period."

Sloane was shocked and asked, "How rich is your organization? How can you mention two billion so casually?"

Ava chuckled at Sloane's response and replied, "It's not the organization that's rich, I am. Have you heard of cryptocurrency?"

Sloane wondered why Ava was bringing up cryptocurrency and said, "Yeah, I know about cryptocurrency. A mysterious person created it in 2006, and it's currently famous for its untraceable transactions. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency, and currently, one Bitcoin costs $28,064. It might increase in the future."

Ava smiled and complimented Sloane, "You really know about cryptocurrency."

Sloane picked up a glass of water, took a sip, and said, "Well, cryptocurrency has become a political matter because of its rising value. I've learned about it, but why did you bring up cryptocurrency in our conversation?"

Ava smiled while looking at Sloane. Sloane frowned and asked, "You don't mean…"

Ava nodded and said, "Yeah, you're right."

Sloane exclaimed, "You're the creator of cryptocurrency?"

Ava nodded again with a smile and said, "So, you get why I'm confident. I own 10 million out of the total 25 million Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I'll give you access to 1 million Bitcoin for elections and a hundred million dollars in cash to run the party."

Sloane considered all that Ava had just said and asked with a wary smile, "So, when do we start? I need to leave my firm and convince my team to join me."

Ava replied, "How about starting today? You'll get ten million in cash every three days, it's up to you, and a bodyguard by evening. If our political party wins the election, I'll give you a permanent version of OT-2x."

Sloane nodded, but the last part caught her off guard. She asked, "You mean there's a permanent version of this pill?"

Ava nodded and said, "Yeah, but you have to gain control of at least 60% of the government to get it from me."

Sloane nodded confidently, now having a personal reason to create a new political party and win the next election with it.

Ava looked at Sloane and asked, "Do you prefer a male bodyguard or a female bodyguard?"

Sloane said, "I don't usually have a preference, but a male bodyguard can be helpful in other ways too."

Ava looked at Sloane with a blank expression and asked, "So, you want a male bodyguard who is good at sex, too?"

Sloane nodded with a smile. "Of course, I don't mind having Deckard."

Ava shook her head and said, "Deck is off limits, and if he stays with you, you might be in more danger."

Deckard came back into the room, cleaning the blood on his face and hands with a white cloth. As he got near Ava, he asked, "Should I dispose of the bodies?"

Ava smiled, looked at Sloane, and said, "See, that's what I'm talking about. He is walking danger."

Sloane just nodded while looking at the blood on the white cloth in Deckard's hand.

Ava shook her head and said, "Let it stay as it is. Let it be a lesson for them, so they won't mess with us in the future. Anyway, who are they?"

Deckard replied, "Eteon. They are after me because they want me to be part of their superhuman project."

Ava nodded and turned to Sloane. "Okay, we have to leave now. If you need anything, message me. Only call if it's an emergency," she said, handing Sloane a new phone.

Sloane nodded while taking the phone.

Ava put on her helmet as she and Deckard left the room, while Sloane also left the room ten minutes later.

After Ava and Deckard got out of the hotel, Ava looked at Deckard and asked, "How many were there?"

Deckard replied, "Six, but I don't know if it's just a feeling or my intuition, but I think they are still following us."

Ava nodded and said, "Katie, analyze the surrounding area and find out if anyone is following Deckard or me."

After a few seconds, Katie replied, "Miss, there are 8 men spying on Mr. Shaw and you from different directions and buildings."

Ava asked, "What about Sloane? Is anyone following her?"

Katie replied, "No, Miss. Sloane is safe."

Ava nodded, looked at Deckard, and said, "There are 8 men spying on us. We will let them follow us to an abandoned location and then end them."

Ava continued and said to Katie, "Send them messages to follow us from Eteon, and then cut off the connection to their communication devices."

Katie replied, "Got it, Miss."

Deckard nodded as he got into his car, and Ava got on her bike. Both of them drove to an abandoned location outside the city.

A man inside a cafe looked at Deckard getting into his car as he replied to a message instructing him to follow Deckard and a woman wearing a helmet.

He left the cafe and started following Deckard and the woman on his bike, while his other subordinates did the same.

After following them for 30 minutes, he felt a little suspicious. He noticed that his phone signal was gone and looked around to find that their signals were also gone. Despite this, he decided to continue the mission and followed them into an abandoned factory in the forest.

They stopped as Deckard and the woman on the bike also came to a halt.

Ava and Deckard stopped inside an abandoned coal factory. Ava took out an EMP and threw it at the eight men on bikes who were standing 100 meters away from her and Deckard.

The man in the front caught the EMP, and Ava smiled as it detonated. The blast caused all their equipment to stop working, including their bikes and guns with computer chips, within a 20-meter radius. The man who caught the EMP was lying on the ground, paralyzed, as the blast had slightly harmed his brain nerves due to his proximity to the EMP.

Ava and Deckard shot the legs of the remaining seven men as they tried to run. Ava approached them, lifted one by the neck, and asked coldly, "Why is Eteon following Deckard?"

The guy was in pain because of a bullet wound on his leg. He hesitated, but when Deckard shot him in his other leg, he exclaimed, "We just got orders to follow, we don't know anything."

Ava looked into his eyes and asked, "Do you have a family?"

He replied, "No, miss. Eteon mostly recruits orphans so they won't have any weaknesses."

Ava smiled and said, "Thanks, now I don't feel guilty," as she broke his neck with a single hand.

The other six looked at Ava in horror.Ava looked at them and said casually, "Why are you guys looking at me like I'm some movie villain? I can't let you live, as it would make a bad impression on Eteon. Then they would send more, and you would become a good example, so there won't be more like you in the future."

They felt a shiver down their spine, hearing Ava's casual death sentence. Ava took out her phone and said, "Bro, let's record a video for Eteon."

Deckard nodded and took out the gun in one hand, as Ava started recording the video on her phone.

Deckard grabbed one of the men's heads and showed it to the camera, saying, "Eteon, you've sent about 14 men after me. Six are dead in a hotel room at the Washington DSS Hotel, while the other eight are going to die by my hands now." He then shot the man in the head.

After that, Deckard shot all of them, including the man who was paralyzed because of the EMP. At the end, Deckard looked into the camera and said coldly, "If you send more, I will kill every single one of them in an even more cruel way."
