Chapter 54- Avery?!

A chocolate-skinned, voluptuous woman was sprawled on the desk, wearing a security uniform.

Her hands scrolled through her phone as her left hand reached for her popcorn. She chewed thoughtfully, absorbed in the gossip she was reading online.

Just as she was getting to the good part, a knock came from the door, interrupting her break.

"Enter," she said, sitting up and brushing crumbs from her lips.

The knob turned, and a man entered with an urgent expression. "Security, you have to go to the back door- thieves are about to break in!" His words rushed out as he urged the woman to get up.

"Coming,'' The woman answered lazily, standing up with no urgency at all.

She grabbed her baton and headed towards the door, internally fuming.

'Which blind idiot tries to rob during my break? When I'm done with you, even the hospital will refuse to treat you.'
