Reunion and New Realities

Logan seated on the chair opposite the bed where Steve and Peggy sat.

After Logan and Peggy had explained most of the recent events to Steve, they gave him a moment to process it all.

"So let me get this straight," Steve began, clearly still wrapping his head around everything. "The secret weapon of Hydra, the Tesseract, teleported you to another dimension?"

Logan leaned back, nodding. "That's correct."

Steve furrowed his brows. "Then there's a chance Red Skull is alive… somewhere in that other dimension?"

Logan crossed his arms, "Most likely the case. But wherever he is, I doubt he's coming back anytime soon."

"And you're an Alpha werewolf, I just thought you're someone who had some mutation but this... is completed different."

Logan smiled saying " Welcome to the other side of the world, Kid."

Steve then glanced between Logan and Peggy, feeling like he was living in a fever dream. "And you're a werewolf now Peggy, because Logan can turn people into one? And he turned Peggy into one?" He said as he turned to Peggy.

Peggy chimed in with soft tone. "Yes, Steve. I did it… to be with you. I thought it was the only way."

Steve expression softened, placing his hand on hers. "It's your choice, Peggy. You don't have to explain it to me. Besides, because of that… we're here, together again." His voice was sincere, grateful.

Peggy smiled warmly at him, the two sharing a moment of connection.

Logan, observing them staring deeply into each other's eyes for what felt like forever, broke the silence with his typical dry humor. "Alright, lovebirds, if you're planning on hooking up, just say the word and I'll leave."

Both Steve and Peggy blushed furiously, looking flustered. Steve glanced at Logan, quickly trying to change the subject. "How did you even know I'd still be alive?"

Logan smirked confidently. "Because I'm James Logan Howlett, the strongest man on this planet. I tend to know these things."

Steve and Peggy rolled their eyes simultaneously, clearly not buying the bravado. "Right, don't tell us if you don't want to," Steve said, chuckling.

They spent some time catching up on the major events that had transpired—Howard's death, Tony's rise, and even Bucky's survival. Logan hesitated before mentioning Bucky.

He is saddened at the mention of Howard's death, but when Steve finally heard that his old friend was still alive, he leaped out of bed, his voice booming with shock. "Bucky's alive?!"

Logan raised an eyebrow. "Yes, your boyfriend is still alive."

Steve's face flushed. "He's not my boyfriend!"

Logan smirked, leaning back casually. "With how excited you are and all that yelling, anyone would think otherwise."

Peggy narrowed her eyes playfully at Steve, watching him squirm with embarrassment. He stammered to explain. "It's not... like that... It's just… Bucky was there for me when I was at my lowest point. I'm glad he is alive and really like to see him."

Logan filled Steve in on what Bucky had been up to since recovering, explaining how he had taken to traveling the world for some peace of mind. Steve nodded, understanding that his friend needed time to adjust, but he couldn't wait to reunite with him when the time was right.

Suddenly, some commotion outside caught Steve's attention. He walked to the window nearby and glanced out of it, his eyes widening in disbelief at the sight of a massive bear standing outside. His jaw practically dropped.

His eyes widened in disbelief. "What the... is… is that a bear?" Steve asked, baffled.

Logan chuckled "That's no ordinary bear, Cap." Then he and Peggy left the room and headed out to the front door with Steve following them from behind.

Standing just outside the house was an enormous bear, surrounded by a group of giggling girls.

Logan turned to Steve as he explained, "They're here to greet you, Steve. When Peggy called me earlier, they were with me and wanted to welcome you."

Soon the girl entered the house and handed Steve flowers, welcoming him back.

Steve awkwardly accepted the flowers the girls handed him, feeling overwhelmed by the attention. "Uh, thanks," he said, still adjusting to this strange new reality.

Peggy watched with amusement, standing by Logan's side as they watched Steve being doted on by the group.

Benjamin, the towering bear, then walked over to Steve and extended his giant paw. "I'm Benjamin," the bear said in his deep voice.

Steve took his paw, still stunned. "I'm Steve Rogers."

The bear didn't let go, his deep voice repeating. "I'm Benjamin."

Steve blinked in confusion, glancing at Logan for clarification.

Logan laughed, clearly enjoying the moment. "That's about all he says for now, Cap. He's been learning human language for a few years."

Everyone gave Logan a disapproving look at that comment, thinking he was making fun of the bear.

Logan raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, it was a joke. But, you know, Ben here is starting to feel more like an Alpha than me these days."

Peggy chuckled. "He's certainly popular enough."

Logan continued with a grim face. "Ever since Benjamin came to town, all the werewolf women are obsessed with him. They spend more time with him than anywhere else."

Steve looked bewildered as Peggy chimed in, laughing. "He's not just popular with the women, either. Ben's become a gym buddy to a lot of the guys, too. They all train together whenever they had time. Not only that but Ben is also popular with kids as most of them wanted to play with him all the time."

Logan sighed dramatically. "Yup, I'm the Alpha, but Benjamin here is probably more well-liked than me at this point."

Everyone burst into laughter at that, including Steve, who was beginning to enjoy this strange new world more than he expected.

Soon after, the group dispersed, giving Steve and Peggy some much-needed privacy.

They had a lot to catch up on, and after years apart, being together again felt like a second chance at happiness.

A few days after settling into Whitehaven, Steve was starting to adjust to his new reality. One afternoon, Laura arrived at the Whitehevan.

She was now leading a team of mercenary betas, tasked with handling various missions for the pack, they even handle some missions from government. After finding that Steve's consciousness, she went to greet him.

Steve greeted her and they joked around, exchanging light banter that made Steve feel more at ease with the rapidly changed world around him.

Laura smirked, leaning back in her chair. "So, Cap, how does it feel being back in action after all these years?"

Steve chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's a little overwhelming, to be honest. I mean, werewolves, magic, dimensional travel… this isn't exactly the world I left behind."

"Yeah, but at least you get to roll with the coolest pack in the world," Laura said with a wink, causing Steve to laugh.

Their conversation was lighthearted until a new presence entered the room. Jean, with her radiant red hair and an aura of quiet power, stepped into the space, catching Steve's attention immediately.

After learning her identity as Logan's second wife, He blinked, stunned for a moment as he processed the fact that Logan had two wives.

"Wait, wait… Logan has two wives?" Steve asked, his jaw dropping in disbelief.

Peggy, who was standing nearby, crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at him. "You're not planning to have more than one woman, are you, Steve?"

Steve, flustered, waved his hands in protest. "Nope! Not in this life, or even after that! Just one for me, I swear."

Peggy raised an eyebrow but smiled, clearly amused by his reaction. Laura laughed, finding Steve's discomfort hilarious. Jean, meanwhile, shook her head with a soft chuckle, her eyes glowing faintly with amusement as she watched the exchange.

Later that evening, a small party was held in Whitehaven to officially welcome Steve back. The party was held on Logan's estate.

The estate was filled with laughter, conversation, and the scent of food filling the air. Steve felt a strange sense of belonging as he looked around at the faces—some new, some familiar.

Hank, who went on vacation again, finally arrived to join the celebration. As he approached Steve, his large, furry hand extended in greeting, Steve gave him a firm handshake, his eyes twinkling with familiarity.

"Good to see you again, Steve," Hank said with a smile. "You're looking well, considering… well, considering everything."

Steve chuckled, nodding. "Thanks, Hank. I'm still getting used to all this, but it's good to be back."

Selene, who was standing beside Hank, nodded in agreement. "Welcome back, Steve. Things have certainly changed since you were last here, but I'm sure you'll catch up quickly."

Steve gave her a polite nod, then glanced at Logan. "And you've been busy, Logan, Two wives, a pack of werewolves, secret missions… I'm starting to feel like I've lived under a rock."

Logan grinned "You didn't miss much, Cap. Just a few adventures here and there."

Hank chimed in with a smirk. "Don't let him downplay it. Logan's been running this place like a well-oiled machine. And Selene's been keeping his company on high demand. Between the two of them, there's hardly a stone left unturned." Selene gave a soft smile.

Steve smiled, glancing at Peggy, who had been silently observing the conversation. She smiled back, and Steve felt a wave of gratitude. Despite all the changes, some things remained constant—their bond, their love.

As the night went on, Steve found himself at ease among the group. He shared stories from his time in the war, reliving old memories with Logan and Peggy. They talked about history, the adventures they had, and the paths their lives had taken.

At one point, Logan caught Steve's eye, raising his glass in a silent toast. Steve returned the gesture, nodding in understanding.

As the party continued into the night, the warmth of camaraderie and the bonds of loyalty filled the air, sealing Steve's place in this new chapter of his life.
