Seven-Star Agent

"Do you mean those words?" Asked Aria with a stunned expression.

"Yes, I do!"  Mia replied

"I believe you know the weight of what you're asking..." 

"You... Just help me get rid of her, to secure my position as favorite to inherit my father's company, that's all" Mia said in a serious tone as she took a quick sip of her drink.

Mia was the second daughter of the present chairman of Conrad Industries, a renowned company that had branches in Polaris city and other parts of the world. They also deal with international trading affairs being favored by the government, while Aria had become the overall head of the Dahee group after her father's death.

Conrad Industries and Dahee group had some ties, as both companies own shares in other small businesses together, so they had a pretty good relationship.

Mia held the position of vice-chairman along with her half-sister. Both, right from a young age never had a good relationship. Their position at the company only made things worse, because they knew that sooner or later, there was going to be an inevitable power struggle.

"Well, I'm not surprised, it has been like this. Ever since I knew you, you always liked to emulate me in every way possible. I know you're doing this because of what I also did to get to my position right?" Asked Aria with a hint of ridicule.

"Why do you say such nonsense? I'm doing this because... I know if I don't, she could still get rid of me the same way, when the time comes"

"So then, why do you think I'm the right person for such a task? You could ask any of your favored agents to get the job done." Aria said with a slight frown.

Mia didn't reply hastily, she thought for a while before she said "The situation isn't as it seems... my sister's position in the company has grown solid as of recent. She has become the favorite for the position of chairman, and that's because of her accomplishments during her two-year mission in China. She has a lot of support from the company, so it won't be possible to get the company's agents to do the job.

"Then how do you expect the Dahee group to accomplish this?" 

Relax, I just need you to assign me one of your seven-star agents... Age 22, with a hundred percent mission completion rate over the last four years. She said with a smile.

Aria had a stunned expression after hearing this. What made her surprised was because the Dahee group always kept the identity of the agents under them a top secret. she then looked at Mia directly in the eye and said

 "How did you know? It seems you've been prying into my companies affairs..."

"It doesn't matter how I got to know. It's Conrad, remember? Is there any information or secret deals in this country we don't know about?" Mia retorted. "Agent Silva... He's got one mission left right? She asked as she leaned closer.

"It's... it's not possible, I can't let that happen. He's different from the rest, so just forget about it."

"How bout  I give you the Tenet Database in return? I know it's in your top priority list"

Aria, who had been subject to constantly changing expressions, couldn't help being petrified by Mia's statement.

The Tenet Database contains information about political misconducts of government officials, such information was priceless, especially for a company like Conrad and Dahee group, because it could be used as a blackmailing chip against the government for certain benefits to the company.

"G-give me some time to think of this," She said

"Sure" Mia replied with a carefree expression.

  Knock, knock

"Oppa! Are you awake?"  An anxious voice called out from outside the room. Jaewon who had just been awoken from sleep by the sound of the knock had a sick expression on his face. He stretched out to the side of the bed and grabbed a small alarm clock.

"Huh? It's eight already! Why didn't it ring out" he muttered as he put away the clock.

"Oppa! Aren't you coming for breakfast?"  The voice called out once more.

"Yes Seohyun, give me a minute" 

he said as he came down from the bed and walked towards the mirror, revealing his figure.

He looked a little slender but had well-defined muscles and body shape. He had an average height, with handsome facial features.

He brushed back his hair with his hand as he thought... [It's weekend and I have nothing doing today, might as well take this chance to rest]

He walked downstairs, to the dining area where his sister was having breakfast.

"Why are you eating so early on the weekend?" He asked.

Seohyun narrowed her eyes, with a hint of surprise and said "What's wrong with me eating this early?" 

Jaewon didn't give her a reply, glancing at the opposite side of the room, he asked with a low voice "Where's mum?"

 "Ah...  She's gone to work, obviously. Why do you ask?"

He turned to her, grinned lightly and said "What's wrong with me asking about mum?" from how he spoke, it was obvious that it was a tease.

Seohyun pressed her lips together and pouted. "Oppa you've started again".

" What's wrong? Can't I joke with my little sister?" He said with a chuckle.

"You saying that makes it look like I'm a kid"  

"So what are you then?"

 She stared at him helplessly and said in a low voice "I'm not going to be mad for sure, and that's only because you're paying for my vacation to the moraine lake"

Hearing this, jeawon furrowed his brows. " didn't you say you needed seven thousand dollars?"

"Ten, It's ten!" She said hurriedly increasing the pitch of her voice.

"I see, you're trying your best to extort me huh? 

"What! Don't you have a lot of money? You work as an executive manager in a big company, a trivial ten thousand dollars shouldn't mean anything to you" she said.

The truth was that jaewon is very wealthy. He was a seven-star secret agent at Dahee group after all. The money he had earned from completing missions all this year amounted to hundreds of millions of dollars. He could live a very luxurious life if he wanted, but he always acted low-key.

Seohyun was a very smart girl,  although she didn't know jaewon worked as a secret agent, she had taken time to notice that he earned a lot of money from his job. This was because of the way he spends money at times without worry.

 Though she was younger than him by a year, she always acted like she was older. They were very fond of themselves, right from when they were young. Even when they were reunited after so many years, their attitude towards each other didn't change by the slightest bit.

Just then, a call came into jaewon's phone. Seeing the caller, he raised his eyebrows in shock and then walked to the corner of the house to answer it, changing to a cold expression.

"Hello, boss!"
