Chapter 1: a new world?*

I hear the sound of birds chirping and feel a bright light on my closed eyelids...

'...why is it so bright?'

I tiredly open my eyes....and am startled awake!

The sight of a beautiful blue sky fills my vision.

'Huh?....is this a dream?'

A warm breeze blows across my cheeks...the smell of roses permeating my senses...

'....no, this feels to real to be a dream.'

I hesitantly sit up and look around....

I was currently sitting under a tree, surrounded by a magnificent garden, flowers in full bloom.

"....where am I?"

I slap my hand over my mouth.

'That was NOT my voice.'

It sounded slightly deeper, kinda like the voice of a young....

'....man...?'

As my suspicions increase, I immediately start to feel up my body....and when I get to my chest....

'...They're gone?!'

I feel toned muscle instead of squishiness.

'....oh my god.'

My mind struggled to make sense of the situation....

It was then I noticed something glowing on my forearm.

'Hmm?'

It looked like a small tattoo of a crescent moon....

I touch it out of curiosity, definitely not remembering having a tattoo like that....

The second I touch it, a semi transparent screen the size of a computer monitor, appears above my forearm.

'Woah!'

It was filled with a long list of messages that I seemed to have missed.

'....this seems oddly familiar....wait! Is it possible I've....'

I try to touch the screen but my hand goes straight through it.

'....maybe if I-'

I try something else, This time simply thinking of opening the messages.

'View messages.'

Surprisingly it works!

I read the messages and manage to get a gist of what had happened.

'In short....I died....and my soul got transmigrated to a new world....seriously? This is just like those novels I read!'

I can feel an excitement begin to build up in me at the prospect.

I forcefully calm myself down in order to continue my investigation.

After I clearing the messages, I finally see something that looks like an information screen....
