The light flickered inside the first class cabin flickered for a few moments before the lighting was restored. Soon everyone felt that fresh air was being recirculated and that breathing had become easier.
Nick and Rick glanced at each other. It was obvious that Willie had already repaired the route below, so the last obstacle before they landed had been removed.
Now it's just time for Rick to pilot the plane for the emergency landing.
If the crash landing was successful, everything is well. If he fails... then everything they did before was pointless.
Rick also felt the pressure weighing down on his body, he took out his handkerchief and wiped the sweat beads on his forehead. He pulled Nick to the side and whispered: "With the plane being so big, I can not be the only one. I need a helper in order to land it safely."
Thinking about the movie, Nick remember how it ended and said "What a coincidence, Willie has experience in airplane piloting. He drove a F16 during his time when he was in the army."
"A fighter jet and this are two different types of plane, but I guess that's better than nothing." Rick smiled bitterly. "I'll go ahead and make preparation prepare. Once Inspector Willie comes back, please invite him to the cockpit. "
As Rick said this, he reached out and opened the cockpit door, only for Nick to yank him back as a green viper suddenly stuck its head out and nearly bit Rick's right hand.
Rick screamed and staggered back. The cockpit door swung wide opened, allowing Nick to see that the cockpit was already full of various venomous snakes.
'Within just 3 minutes the majority of the snakes crawled into the planes walls and exited the cockpit! How does that even make sense!'
With a dreadful sound of a dark hiss, a yellow snake with a thin body suddenly ejected itself at Nick. At the same time, Nick Grabbed the door and slammed it shut as hard as he could.
The snakes head was in between the door way and when Nick slammed the door shut, it's triangular ahead was decapitated.
Nick careful stepped on the head of the snake, crushing it so that the decapited snake didn't bite anyone via muscle reflex. As he finished this task, his walkie talkie sprang to life.
".....Nick....I've turned the power on.....but Ive been bitten..." Willie said in labored breathing
"Fuck! We'll land as quick as possible! Jus hang on!" Nick felt his heart start racing and his teeth clench at the though of his partner dying to a mindless reptile.
'Shit! Without Willie in the passanger seat, it will take longer to land without a competent co-pilot. Who's gonna help fly the plane now?
Nick's eyes widened as he remembered that in the movie, the overweight bodyguard of the rapper had over 2,000 hours of flying experience. Although these 2,000 hours are spent on flight simulation games, it would still make him better than ordinary people.
Walking over the the bodyguard, Nick opened his mouth to speak but was quickly cut off. " listen man Im just that guys security guard, I didn't do anything to cause anybody problems!" The bodyguard said, afraid that Nick was going to cuff him for associating with the hysterical rapper.
"I don't care about that, but I need to know if you can fly a plane?" Nick said in a deep authoritative voice
"Huh?" The man looked at Nick with a dumbfounded look. After a while, he reacted violently and nodded vigorously, "Yes, I understand how to, I have over 2000 hours of flying time. ."
"What's your name?" Saying this, Nick stoom out his hand to the bodyguard.
"My name is Troy." Reaching out and grabbing Nick, he got up out of his seat.
"Very well Troy, you have been temporarily called up to be the pilot of this flight. Come with me." Nick said as they walked to the door of the cockpit.
Walking past the scared people, Nick gave out a reassuring smile until he was next to Rick, in which his face morphed into a frown.
Nick said solemnly: "Rick, how long will it take to arrive at the nearest airport?"
Rick said: "It's less than ten minutes away."
"Okay, that should be enought time. Hopefully...."
Claire frowned, "But what about the poisonous snake in the cockpit?" Nick held his tongue in correcting her, as recalled a classic scene in the movie.
Taking a deep breath, and asked Rick "What would happen if the plane had an opening now?"
".... Well the air pressure will suck out all of the loose objects" Rick was taken aback, and looked at Nick vigilantly, "Do you plan on sucking out all of the snakes on the plane?"
Nick nodded: "Do you think this has any possibility of success?"
Rick bit his lip "Its not impossible, as two engines were malfunctioning I had to lowered the altitude from 30,000 feet to just 700 feet. At these heights the snakes will be sucked out, but we'll need to quickly lower it to 300 feet in order to prevent the plane from getting ripped apart.." Rick silently thought about it.
"As long as I can land the plane as soon as possible, I think there should be an 80% chance of success. But we'll have to be quick!"
"80%?" Nick smiled, "Those are good odds in my book."
Following Nick's order, everyone quickly fastened themselves to their seats.
Using a safety rope, Nick tied the end to the cockpit door handle, the other end to himself.
"After I open the door, I'll quickly shoot out the window. You guys will have to wait a few seconds for all of the snakes to fly out, but after that you'll have to right against the wind and climb up to the cockpit door. "
Troy nodded vigorously. Surprising, there was no fear on his round face, only excitement and eagerness.
"One. Two. Three!!."
Yanking on the rope, the door handle opened and revealed close to a hundred snakes slithering atop of each other
Nick quickly drew his pistol, pointed it at the window and fired.
*BANG*
*WOOOSH*
The moment the bullet hit the window, the suction force caused loose items started flying out of the plane. As the food cart got picked up by the powerful suction force, it flew at insane speed towards the hole, slamming into it and tearing the hole even bigger.
Thankfully this worked even better as the snakes quickly got sucked up by the even more powerful suction force and started flying out of the plane.
As the last of the snake got sucked out, Nicks hand tightened in the rope.
"Now for the hard part!"
