Chapter Ninety-Five: Nyflona

"We're entering Nyflonian Airspace. We assume they will contact us soon." 

Lucilia and everyone on the ship soon arrived at the planet Nyflona. It was twice the size of Earth, but it only had one continent on it. From what Ren was told, the western part of the continent belonged to the Queen that Lucilia told him about. The center contained that group that was ruled by a council,and the eastern side was that belonging to that King that was at war with the Queen.

"Ma'am, we're getting a message." One of the pilots said.

"Allow it." Lucilia responded.

"Unidentified Volarian Ship, state your purpose." the voice on the call said.

"My name is Lucilia Aria Caelum, former princess of Volaria. I've come to speak to the Queen for diplomatic purposes." 

"You think we'll get through without issue?" Ren asked Lucilia.

"I've been associated with the queen for awhile; she should at least meet with us out of respect." Lucilia said.

Then the voice came on again.

"Permission granted. Land in Myfanore City, Dock 11. Guards will meet you at the shipping docks."

"Understood." Lucilia said. "We'll be there."

"Keep all weapons inside the ship; if the guards find a weapon, they will be immediately imprisoned." the voice said.

"Copy that." Lucilia responded.

"All weapons. Not a fan of that, honestly." Ren said.

"We have to be diplomatic. We're here to gather allies, not make more enemies." Lucilia responded.

"So who's all coming with?" Ren asked.

"Myself, you of course, Ashastha, Laelli, Eleonora, Scarlet, Serenity, and Lily." Lucilia responded. "Considering you are married to most of that group, they technically qualify as royalty for our group. Laelli will come as a guard for Ashastha since she is also a queen."

"What about Sthora?" Ren asked.

"Sthora and Mae will be in charge of the ship, in case things go... well, not as I think they will be in charge of getting us out." Lucilia said.

"That makes sense." Ren replied. "Alright, we should prepare to land."

Lucilia's ship landed in Dock 11, and everyone gathered at the ramp. Ren walked outside and saw the blue skies of Nyflona, along with the pure white buildings surrounding the city.

"Wow, how...extravagant." Ren said, looking around. "Seriously, every building looks like I wouldn't be able to afford it in my lifetime..."

"That's the capital city for you. The Queen isn't exactly one for saving expenses." Lucilia replied.

"Are you Lucilia Aria Caelum?" a voice called out.

"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Lucilia said, bowing.

Ren turned around and saw the man standing before them. He was fairly tall, with long blonde hair and green eyes. The thing was, his ears were long and pointed, much like those of an elf from fantasy novels.

"My name is Fenian Sylxina. I will be your escort to the royal palace." The man said.

Scarlet leaned over to Ren. "There's elves?!"

"This is like those novels I read..." Lily said shocked.

"I mean...it's definitely shocking." Serenity said.

"Wonder if there's like elven races, like high elves, dark elves, and stuff." Lily said.

"I think it's best to wait until we ask that question. We're still strangers here after all." Ren said.

The group followed Fenian through the hanger; every person they saw either had blonde, white, or light blue hair along with either blue or green eyes. However, one thing that Ren didn't like was how some of the people in the crowds looked wary or even disgusted seeing him and his group.

"Ah, it's one of those places..." Ren thought to himself.

The group was escorted throughout the city and saw the marble structures surrounding them until they arrived at the royal palace, which by far stood above the rest of the buildings, rested on top of a hill overlooking the entire city, and the path to the building itself was so long the group had to take a car just to get up the drive way.

"This is just overkill at this point." Serenity said.

"I will have to agree with you." Laelli said. 

"Volaria was definitely fancy, but this..." Ashastha said. "It's just too much."

"Our Queen only wants the best and most beautiful; she has personally designed the city to fit her tastes." Fenian said. "Anything deemed ugly in her designs was thrown out."

"Well...this queen interests me more and more by the minute." Ren said, sighing.

After a few minutes of driving, the group arrived at the front door of the castle.

"Her majesty is waiting; please enter." Fenian said.

"Well, here goes nothing."
