Chapter Ninety-Four: Tyler and Sakura Go Home

Tyler and Sakura were aboard the UNS Eternity, heading back to Earth for the first time in months. They were luckily surrounded by familiar faces from the Eternity, so they didn't feel like outcasts onboard the ship.

"Are you two ready to see your families again?"

The two turned to the side and saw Lena walking by then.

"Oh, hey Lena...it's nerve-racking, not going to lie." Tyler responded.

"We also have someone to go to before we head home." Sakura said.

"Where?" Lena asked.

"To Scarlet's house. Her mother doesn't know if she's alive, so it's best if we tell her about... well, everything." Tyler said.

Lena smiled. "Good point. Captain Aurora plans to tell everyone else's families, but she saved Scarlet's for you."

"That's kind of her." Sakura responded.

The ship soon docked inside New York's port, and the two of them began walking.

"It's so weird to be back..." Tyler said.

"It's also...we've seen an entire alien world, and it makes Earth..." Sakura said, before losing her train of thought.

"Kind of boring?" Tyler finished her sentence.

Sakura smiled "Yeah, that."

"I'm kind of jealous of Ren that he and the others are exploring another new world..." Tyler said.

"We'll probably see more once they come get us." Sakura responded. "Any way, shouldn't we head to Ms. Lister's?"

"Yeah." Tyler said. "C'mon, I know the way."

"You know, maybe after this, we could go out to dinner?" Sakura said, with a blush on her face.

"I'm down; we haven't really had a date..." Tyler said.

Sakura smiled, and the two began walking hand in hand. They soon arrived at the front door of Scarlet's mother's house.

"Here we are." Tyler said before he knocked on the door.

"I'm coming!" a voice said from inside the house.

The door opened, and Rose answered from behind.

"T...Tyler?" Rose said it with a shocked expression on her face.

"Hey, Ms. Lister. It's been awhile." Tyler said.

"I...How...I thought..." Rose stuttered, unable to get a word out.

"I know, last you heard, we were M.I.A. Well...things happened." Tyler said.

"Is...Scarlet with you?" Rose asked, looking around to see if Scarlet was nearby.

"She's not here, but she's perfectly fine." Sakura responded. 

"Sorry, dear, but who are you?" Rose asked.

"Oh, my name is Sakura. I served with your daughters, Lily and Ren, on the UNS Eternity." Sakura said, introducing herself.

"You said Scarlet was okay? Then where is she? Are the others here?" Rose asked.

"Scarlet is perfectly fine. Happy even." Tyler said. "Ren and Lily are also perfectly okay."

"Then where are they?" Rose asked.

"If I had to guess, they are currently on an alien planet." Tyler answered.

"A...alien planet?" Rose asked.

"I think we should sit down so we can explain everything." Sakura suggested.

The two entered Rose's house and sat down on the coach. Rose got each of them a drink, and they began telling the story from when they were captured to learning about Ren's relationship with Lucilia and Ashastha, his developed relationships with Scarlet, Lily, and Eleonora, and now the current mission.

"So...my daughter is one of several wives of Ren's...and is fighting a war against an intergalactic empire...and is currently visiting some alien planet in the middle of nowhere in space." Rose said trying to wrap her head around everything.

"Pretty much." Tyler responded.

"This...is...a lot..." Rose said.

"Well, if it helps, they should be coming back here eventually." Sakura said.

Rose smiled as she took a deep breath. "It does...at least I know my daughter is alive. Thank you two, truly."
