The following years were quite hectic. He was allowed to ask a lot questions in which he filled most of the holes for his vocabulary and started to learn about his family and outside world.

{ There nothing stronger than family }

He learned about his village name which was Lutia, which comes under Griffon kingdom.

( Hmm .. strange, a kingdom named after a legendary beast, must have connection with them deeply. There's also a chance of learning about other legendary beast like Dragon or Pheonix . Those legendary beast must have similar,godly powers too. This kingdom comes under territory of this Griffon. ) lith thought.🤔

My parents knew the names of neighbouring countries , but they knew nothing about life outside of the village not they cared.😐

In their eyes King was some sort of mythical creature , they put all their worries on count of Lutia, not only he administratered justice and taxes on people. He would also take part in the spring festival as a special guest.

His parents never mentioned magic, wars, or history . They only told tales which would pass as bedtime stories were same cliche: beautiful princess, righteous heroes and vile tyrants .😮‍💨

Lith was dissatisfied by such information. He wanted know, what was planet's name, or how much this planet has developed in terms of scientific factor. He wanted to learn the history of magic, the lore ,the legends, anything that can make him anticipate.😞

Well I can guess they knew very little and their source was from gossips.😲

His family tree was understandable, Raaz and Elina married very early even by village standards, they were barely sixteen.

Old man was the only child, he inherited his father's farm, where they currently living.

Elina got pregnant shortly after the the marriage and gave birth to twins, Eliza and Orpal.

Then she got pregnent again after two years. Currently Raaz and Elina are 25 years old, Eliza and Orpal 8 years old , Trion 6 years old, Tista 4 years old and finally Lith 2 year's old. ( Damn, momma so strong 🤯 ), Lith thought.

He got more information about their family, that even though father own such a nice farm, with it's barn and henhouse, putting food on the table was quite difficult.

Tista was born with congenital condition which prevented her from physical exertion and she was prone to other illnesses.🤒

Fast pacing would cause her breathing problems. She would cough time to time, when it get worse. She would get her treatment from village healer, Nana. But her condition can only be bought to natural state there wasn't any ailment.😰

And while check-up wasn't expensive but treatment was. Even Raaz can bring her to home, it would cost though. She would ask for compensation for losing.

( Old hag is quite stingy, must be due to age. ) Lith inwardly.😕

Lith felt sorry, despite having no time with Tista, she was precious of Elina and Eliza. Which make her precious for him too.🤗

He felt helpless he hasn't make any progress on light magic or darkness. Light magic would need a patient and a solid foundation about human anatomy. he didn't want to put her in risk, even if he was proficient in university level biology from his previous life.

Darkness magic was different thing. He only seen it one time , no one in his family used it. And he can't use it inside the house without knowing the consequences. It had destructive power inside it.

And from his previous life memory animes, the dark magic was quite look downed. It was like a taboo topic about curses and raising undeads. Even though it was potentially horrifying, it was a type of power which would help later.

( I may also go down this route. Spamming ' ARISE! ' for my legion. Well for now I need knowledge about magic and get a magic teacher. So he/she can teach me the basics of magic and common sense. I don't want to walk down the path of reckless or dumb protagonist and get diced up for next reincarnation turn.) He thought.😩

( Well there should also be magic schools in this continent, but getting addmission will be pain in the ass for a commoner like me. I have to get acquainted and get as many connections with nobles,' Haaiyah! '. And those schools must be filled those nobles children who bully commoners. Damn, the more I grow the difficulty level of this world is increasing. well I will let my future self think about it . Procrastination 🙏🏾 )

Lith inwardly grumbled.

His parents were never satisfied. If he sat in corner for meditation, they will get worry that I was too quiet or too lazy. if he try to help them, he would get scolded by getting in the way.

( I can't get used to this madness called family. ) lith sighed.😮‍💨

They refused to teach him magic which they called ' chore magic ' and prohibited to learn them. 😔

Everything was basically prohibited until he

' grew ' up . Like he can't get outside of house without accompanying anyone, he can't get near fireplace or can't ask too much questions.😐

" You talk too much. " They said. 🥲

His feud with Orpal never settled, and he can feel Trion's hostility too. Clearly Orpal was for Trion, like Eliza was for Lith , a role model.

Lith said inwardly after sensing the hostility.

Once he became 3 year's old, he can't take anymore in this boring environment. Basically stuck at home 24/7, annoying winter and constant hunger had drive him insane.

It was a stormy afternoon, Elina was teaching her daughters how to sew, and Raaz was teaching Orpal how to carve the wood. Trion and me were standing watching them. When he asked his father to teach, his father baffled and mother reminded him

" You are too young and clumsy for this work."

Well mom is right, my body felt very clumsy than the old one. So he patiently waited for Raaz finished instructing Orpal, and asked him to teach how to read, write and count.

Raaz stated " You are too young! Usually parents sent their children to school, when they become 6 years old. Don't you think it's boring? "

" Boring? what could be possibly more boring than only sitting on the ground and do nothing? Like yesterday, the day before and tomorrow too. Please daddy teach me! I beg you , please ,please! 🥺 "

Raaz didn't know what to say, his never asked him anything before.

" Even though, he's possibly hungry, he never asks for more. Unlike Orpal, I don't if Lith is too good or I am spoiling Orpal. " He thought.

Watching his wife staring at him, "Dammit! what can I say? I am such moron it doesn't need any dangerous tools. "

Raaz looked at Lith's puppy eyes 🥺, his heart squeezed, but he replied " Sorry son we don't have anything to write on . So, I can't teach you "

Well I was already prepared a solution for this when it was boring to only sit near fireplace. He picked up the ashes from tray from the bucket collecting ash.

" Now we can do! We can write as much we want " Raaz was amazed by Lith, so do was Elina. He was about to object, but he felt the stare has turn to frown and her hands far too fast, which meant trouble for him. So he gave up.

" From what do you wanna start from? " Raaz asked hoping his son would get bored from it. So that he can laze around.

" Count! " Lith replied. So Raaz sat on the floor than start to draw numbers on the floor through ash.

The number had different shapes than Arabic numericals. But they were identical and calculations were the same.

So kept the new numbers in front and started multiplication so that, he can engrave the new numbers in his mind and body.

Once he finished. Orpal asked sarcastically

" How much 324 times 13? " He quickly replied " 4212 ". Leaving them speechless.

Elina couldn't help but get up and give him a big hug. " My little genius! I am proud of you." in less than one hour he has mastered what it would take one year. Elina and Tista soon joined her in embrace. And the male side was still flabbergasted.

Reading and writing would take time, but that was simple. He already knew most of the words, he only need to learn the alphabet and memoize it. Once again his whole family was stunned. But Orpal was looking at him with scorn and envy.
