"Gods. These little fucks have been busy... How has no one noticed this?" Lucius's bewildered voice echoed throughout the cave, as he took his hand of the corpse below him.

The blood still spraying from Movarth's neck was heard as it splattered across the wooden table. Alva, with her head in her hands, sat on a rigid steel and wood bench as she silently cried. The arbitrary gasps of her sobs being the only indicator for Lucius.

"Do you - uhh, want to be cured?" He awkwardly probed. "I already have the required soul gem. Or, I could try and shout it away, though my understand of 'cleanse' probably isn't enough."

"I don't want to be weak again." She whimpered out as she looked up to Lucius. "How can you shout away a race?"

"Do you really not know me? I'm the dragonborn, Alduin's bane and all that." Lucius calmly announced as if it was nothing special, whirling a dagger between his fingers as he harvested the vampire's dust for Ciri. "What are you going to do about blood then? I'm okay with sparing you now, but i'm not about to let you prey on innocents." He finished his harvest and stood up.

"I don't know." She sniffled. "Bandits."

"I suppose..." He eyed her. "There's more to power than vampirism y'know. Magic, martial, or both are all open paths. Although, personally i'd suggest magic." He winked with a small smile as he turned to walk away.

"Uh... Wait, please! Where are you going?" Alva croaked out.

"To the Jarl for my reward, and then i'm leaving Morthal." He simply said. "Do as you like." He casually waved off.

In the muddy cobbles of Morthal, a large gathering of citizens stood at the Jarls doors, a flash of thunder overhead signifying their anger.

Lucius's calm strides clinked on the stained stone with each step, a smaller set following behind, as his mouth twitched with each soft tap of the heels behind him.

"You realise they all think you did it, right? Even if they didn't they know your a vampire they do now..." Lucius voiced without turning.

"Humph, I won't run from it." She huffed. "But, I can escape if they want me dead."

"Sure~ you can." He rolled his eyes. "Stay close, I don't wish to argue over morals with simpletons." He grabbed her arm and deftly made them both invisible. "Don't speak."

A couple gentle push and shoves later and they quickly entered the Jarl's hall where she sat in her throne with an agitated expression on her wrinkled face. "Ah, dragonborn you're back." She said looking into the air.

"It seems your talk of mysteries was not one of posture." Lucius smiled as he appeared in front of the throne in a small purple glow, a startled Alva behind him.

"Well?" She started with a glare at Alva. "What have you learned?" She asked.

"Ever read Immortal Blood?" Lucius replied with his own question.

"The book of the vampire hunter? Yes, what of it?" She sat up, clear interest in her eyes.

"Movarth was the master vampire. He took the naive girl behind me, wooed her, turned her, and then controlled her into manipulating the town. He wanted to turn your people in livestock." Lucius informed. "Here's proof." He said, handing over the journal.

"I'll be damned... So, what do you request?" She looked up from the journal.

"Hmm, how about you let her go." He pointed a thumb behind him. "I don't need gold. I already have or could get anything I desire, might as well give the stupid girl another chance at life." He explained after he heard the shocked gasp from his side.

"Thank yo-

"Ah, wait. I'm gonna make you sign a Geis first." He cut Alva off and had to hide his amusement at her deflated state.

"I suppose that's fine, but she can't stay in Morthal. The people would rally for her head." Idgrod agreed.

"That's fine, I wasn't planning to stay here anyway." She stood straight, glancing at Lucius.

'Ciri is already cursing me.' He mused and dropped his head.

"Well, we'll be going then." He dipped his head to the Jarl.

"Thank you, Jarl." Alva deeply bowed.

"Hurry up, I want to get this over with." He run a hand over his forehead as he cast the illusion spell once more to leave.

It wasn't until Morthal had disappeared over the hill did Lucius stop and turn to the following girl.

"Right, I'll cast the Geis, then we go our separate ways." He declared, a rift of spike black shuddering into existence behind him like a crack in reality itself.

"I- I want to go with you, to better myself." She looked him in the eye. "I'll become yours, a servant, a slave. Just train me, I'll beg."

"Uhh, no. I'm not a fan of slaves..." He looked at her weirdly. "You just got your freedom back, why would you throw it away?"

"I told you I want to be strong, to be able to have a chance, to have a choice." Alva hesitated.

"You understand that by 'becoming mine' you would forgo those liberties at the expense of gaining strength." Lucius avowed, crossing his arms with low huff of his nostrils. "Unless you plan to kill me afterwards I don't see the appeal..."

"Like that would even be possible, idiot." Alva quickly slapped a hand over her mouth in panic.

"Oh~ Good negotiation skills." Lucius laughed. "Tell you what, If your so desperate to be taught by me i'll give you a test. Cure yourself of vampirism and i will teach you strength without borrowed power." He smiled, chucking over a black crystal as he hoped back into his portal.

Cate Blanchett killed it again in her new movie.

I recommend you guys watch it, called Tar. The scene where she slams the moron for not liking straight white people was beautiful. 10/10

I have an idea for a CyberPunk fic, but I think someone already did it. Sucks for me...

Have a good one,
