This story is genuinely just disappointing. Everything is great but the main glaring weakness of it all. The main character. He’s so dumbfoundingly stupid it hurts to read. Either the author thinks it’s funny or a development moment or what, I don’t know. Nothing has changed in his demeanour or thought process in around 18 chapters and he’s constantly making mistakes that a toddler wouldn’t. Best believe that the only thing that made him interesting (his CE and CT) has probably been taken by the fatui because of his lack of simple thought. Great idea and writing in terms of flow and setting ruined by an asinine child.
