Meeting an acquaintance

Inside of a certain gate.

The area was lush with greenery. As the vibrance was communicated through the trees that swayed with the gentle wind.

At first glance, one wouldn't consider this being a gate at all. Due to how calm and serene it was looking.

That is… if there weren't any monsters.

Nearby the trees, and even on their branches, some giant 20-25m tall snakes that had upper bodies similar to humans but with snakeskin instead hung around them.

They had a width of almost four or five humans stacked together. And it was scary.

Scales were covering the whole of their body, and they seemed quite dangerous looking. Even holding some weapons in their hands.

One of them uprooted the tree they were on easily by their tail as they wrapped it around the big tree.

*Bam*

The tree was thrown very far so easily as if it didn't weigh anything.

The other snakes didn't react at all and remained dangled on the branches, or just laid on the ground basking in the sun and enjoying the breeze.

Meanwhile, others fought each other with weapons and used their tails to strike at each other, perhaps to attract the females or just from boredom.

This was their home area. And generally, while they didn't have any purpose apart from destroying and eating the humans, this gate wasn't on the break of exploding.

It was just a regular A rank gate, and right now, these monsters pointlessly… existed. They had no goal.

Until that time when the gate would reach a high enough state to become an irregular gate and then the monsters would come breaking out of it in droves, competing who would eat more humans.

If… the heroes didn't enter it and kill the monster and the boss monster occasionally, that is.

As long as they keep doing that, this gate would always remain like this.

*Fouish*

Suddenly, these snakes that were loitering around were alerted all of a sudden as a light shined and two new persons appeared out of nowhere inside of the gate nearby them.

They didn't even need a second though, before their bodies moved and they attacked the two new additions.

Their instinct was just like that triggered. See human, kill. It was that simple.

As they twisted on themselves like a spring, they were launched at full speed at the two new additions.

Some raised their weapons, others just their claws.

*Swish*

It all happened instantly, but…

"Tsk, weaklings…"

A huge force caught some of those monsters easily as if their strength was just a joke, and then while they were suspended in the air by this force, the person waived their hands at them for another attack.

The semi-humanoid looking snakes suddenly got their head twisted and torn.

Blood spilled incessantly on the ground after their bodies were thrown to the ground casually.

"Will you deal with the rest… or should I?" This person, a female with a charming voice, asked.

She was a beautiful green-haired woman with a voluptuous body that would charm any man, and she was wearing a battlesuit that was most commonly seen with superheroes, but it seemed hers was customized to bring forth her beauty even more. And that is mainly on the leg area, where she didn't have pants, just her dress opened up to show a lot of her legs, and she wore tights with them.

This was Fubuki.

The person she was talking to chuckled.

*Haha*

She was a woman with black hair with a beauty that did not lose out against Fubuki and was also similarly wearing a tight battlesuit with gloves on her hands.

This was Robin.

"Fufu, leave it to me," Her outfit too showed a lot of cleavage and as she wore shorts, her legs also were visible.

At her words, giant arms sprouted on the ground, and they each caught one snake monster and then they smashed them to the ground quite easily breaking their necks and killing them.

Her strength didn't seem any less than Fubuki.

"Don't drop your guard down, although these are just B rank, this is an A rank gate… so, we'll be dealing with an S rank boss later…"

This was the mission that the system gave to them. It was due to something urgent, but it was in the mission column and gave a lot of points.

So, both wanted to do it.

And when they knew they could do it together, they talked it out.

Fubuki was generally very friendly, but seeing that Robin was as strong if not stronger than her she admired her slightly and showed her some respect.

However, there was also an element of maturity that she had started to understand more ever since she met Ren and joined the chatroom.

Fubuki was also aware that the leader was very close with Robin so that was a factor too, considering that he was the one who gave her this opportunity and even talked back to her sister about it.

"Don't worry, I never drop my guard, fufu" Robin assured.

If someone among them was likely to get assassinated, it was not her, that's for sure. Observation haki being the primary reason, of course, not that she was underestimating her or anything.

Fubuki nodded her head.

"I heard the last team to enter here had all disappeared… what do you think happened to them?"

She asked Robin as she knew she was the thoughtful type. She was slightly scared of such ghost stories after all…

Robin put her finger on her lips.

"Perhaps… perhaps they were eaten alive by the boss monster?"

Fubuki's eyes widened as that was not something she was expecting in this situation.

Meanwhile back with Ren. On the other side of the city, and specifically at Tsunade's house.

Which was also consequently her lab.

Ren had just entered the house after a maid opened the door for him.

The house was very huge, and it had many parts.

There was a gym, a swimming pool, the main house area, and then another part in the very back where she had her lab.

'That's the destination,'

Ren was passing through all that before he reached the swimming pool area and paused suddenly.

He once again met someone he knew.

Her blue hair was the most obvious sign about her, but this time he was seeing her in quite the revealing outfit…

It was Sicily, and she was sunbathing by the pool.

"Ah, it's you, mister Ren," She got up from the chair and lifted her sunglasses to look at him. Her gentle face beamed a smile at him.

"It's been a while, how have you been?" She asked him as she started walking closer. She was very excited to meet him like this once again.

Despite how Sakura had been describing him, as good in bed and all that, she was still interested in him. And had wanted to call him occasionally, but could never do it.

However, Ren's eyes glinted as he saw how beautiful she was looking.

Her assets looking very dangerous and sexy in his eyes.

*Cough*

Ren coughed to hide the fact he was staring at her. And it seemed like it worked as he internally sighed in relief.

"Hello, Sicily, I'm doing good thank you, but didn't I tell you to just call me Ren?"

Ren replied to her but then asked her quizzically. She was too respectful.

Sicily though was very embarrassed by that, but then as she took another closer look at him, her heart pounded rapidly and she mustered her courage to say.

"A-Ahaha, then Ren," She said slightly stuttering.

"Anyway… What brings you here today?"

She didn't know why he was here, despite being happy to chat with him and meet him again.

"I was asked to come for a meeting by Master Tsunade," Ren replied truthfully as it wasn't really a secret or anything.

"I wasn't aware that we'd have a visitor today,"

She asked after to hide the fact that she was embarrassed and asked him.

Her master had told her to take the day off today since she and Sakura had some important business to attend to. She presumed it had something to do with that technique only Sakura was able to learn.

Sicily was newer to this than Sakura anyway, so she obeyed her master's words and took the day off.

And she was also a girl so it was natural to want to do girl things like now while wearing her swimsuit…

'Wait… s-swimsuit?'

It suddenly clicked for her as she lowered her head mechanically to look at herself.

And then, like a tomato, her face started turning red.

'No, no, no, no' She panicked inside of her mind.

"I-I-I need to go…."

"ItwasniceseeingyoumisterRen, let'smeetsometimelater,goodbye," (It was nice seeing you mister Ren, let's meet sometime later, goodbye,")

She then ran like the wind as Ren stood there wondering what was wrong.

Still, his eyes didn't leave her butt and her body as she was running. He was never one to miss such a chance.

*Nod* *Nod*

'Quality stuff,'

And then as she vanished he finally picked himself up and started moving to the laboratory. A smile of satisfaction was on his face.

'This girl is very cute…'

A couple more minutes and he finally entered inside and moved to where he felt two life auras.

*Knock* *Knock*

As he knocked on the door, a female voice replied.

"Come in,"

And Ren was once again excited. He was about to meet the Konoha princess and the legendary sucker.

Then as he stepped inside, he wasn't ready for what he was about to see…

"We finally meet, leader… Fufu"
