Even though Paul wasn't satisfied with the Katana he had created, it was useful for some training that he didn't want to do with his own Katana or his father's, but the Katana he made could be used.

Paul had some training ideas using bamboo, leaves, papers, and stones. With some money, he could buy many bamboo sticks to use for his training. Besides, bamboo was easier to plant than trees.

After all, Paul could do some of his training with trees, but he would probably destroy trees that took hundreds of years to grow. Even though he wasn't entirely human anymore, he didn't want to destroy nature unnecessarily.

So, when Paul was in the Alaska mountains, in addition to training his blacksmithing skills, he also trained with his Katanas. He felt that some things were different from the world he knew from the movies.

Paul knew that this universe was different from the world in the books. Besides being the real world, it had some differences, such as the presence of Edythe Cullen and the fact that Alice wasn't with Jasper or another companion.

Paul's arrival in this world also changed many things. He had never heard of Samurai in the Twilight book, but he remembered that his master suggested that there could have been other supernatural beings besides vampires and werewolves in the past.

After all, if vampires, werewolves, and shape-shifters existed, Paul didn't find it strange that there were other supernatural beings. A clue was Bella's research in the movies when she tried to find out what Edward was. She saw several legends of supernatural beings that might not be legends in this world.

Paul thought he could ask Irina about this. She had lived almost a thousand years, so she would certainly know if there were other supernatural beings. Also, Paul remembered the conversation he had with the god who brought him to this world.

The god said he had made a mistake and decided to send Paul to the world of Twilight, but Paul understood that in this world there was another god and therefore, whoever brought him here could not casually change things.

This god also suggested that there could be several gods who commanded planets similar to Earth, and Paul would not be surprised if he knew that there were also several demons just as there were multiple gods.

If this were possible, then angels could exist and other types of beings that did not live on Earth like humans and vampires, just thinking about it made Paul worried about the confusion that this world could be.

Paul's training continued, and he could train his telekinesis to keep several pieces of bamboo and paper at a great distance from him, so Paul had to make an effort to use his katana with skill and dexterity to cut the bamboo and paper.

After a few days of training, just as Paul thought, the katana he had created and used for training was starting to crack, so he had to fix it. Paul was happy not to use his father's katana for training.

Paul had created other katanas that were a little better, but they would be destroyed when he tried to start training to cut stones with speed and dexterity. Paul had to test which was the best way to cut fast to cut a stone.

After all, although a vampire's body was less hard than a stone, Paul still needed technique and skill to be able to decapitate a vampire without using his telekinesis, especially when a vampire could use their arms to defend themselves with vampire reflexes.

While Paul was training, Irina came to the mountain to see his training because she was bored. She knew that Paul always came to train in blacksmithing and his katana skills.

Irina was sure that Paul had lied when he said he found the katanas with some Japanese people, after all, his skills with the katanas were too good for him to have learned alone.

Irina didn't come to see Paul train because she didn't want to disturb his concentration, but also because every time she saw Paul use the Katanas, she felt he could kill her in a fraction of a second if he wanted to.

Even though Irina knew that Paul wouldn't do that, her instincts of preservation made it difficult for her to watch Paul train. Irina saw that Paul stopped training when she arrived and approached her.

"Hi, Irina, it's unexpected to see you here at my training spot," said Paul.

"If I don't come here, I think I won't see you much, now you always go to the mountains to train when you come back from university," said Irina.

"I'm sorry, it's impossible for me to train at university. I can't let my fighting skills rust," said Paul.

"I forgive you only if you give me one of the Katanas you're making," said Irina.

"I would like to give you a Katana, but unfortunately what I can make can't be called a Katana," joked Paul.

"But you'll get better, in a few years, you can give me a Katana when you think your skill is good enough," said Irina.

"I don't think we'll have time. I'll leave before I improve enough to give you a gift that makes me proud, but I can buy a Katana for you," said Paul.

"It wouldn't be the same thing. It wouldn't make sense to receive a Katana that wasn't made by you," thought Irina, but she didn't say that.

"Paul, I know you're leaving in a few years, but you don't have to distance yourself from us like this. We've been living together for years. Who knows, after a few decades, you might even come back to live with us," said Irina.

"I know, Irina. I'm sorry for doing this. I know I may have made you sad with my attitude, but for me, this is necessary. I still love you guys very much. If I don't do this and distance myself a bit, I'll miss you a lot when I go to live with the Cullens," said Paul.

"It's normal to miss someone. It means you care about us. We'll miss you too," said Irina.

"I'm glad to hear that, but for me, it's different. I've only been a vampire for a few years. This is the first time I distance myself from someone like this. After all, we've been living together for 20 years. It's hard for me," said Paul.

Irina understood. It was certainly different for Paul, who had now lived most of his life as a vampire. After all, Irina knew that Paul had been transformed when he was 19 years old. Irina and her sisters, who had lived for almost a thousand years, were already used to all of this.
