7 years later: A single impulse that transforms a life..

[Ed, Kara has returned from the place you named as a fortress and is looking for you again].

Beneath the surface of the sun, a young blond man with shiny hair opened his eyes when he heard the voice directly in his head; if anyone was present at the moment, they might have seen a beam of red light take the place of his eyes, and this, together with his blond hair that shone and floated even without the wind, made him look like the representation of a god. The young man stood up and stretched, showing off his body, which could be described as the gods that the Greeks worshipped for their perfection. He looked at his hands for a few moments before turning his gaze to the direction in which the earth should be.

- Didn't I warn you that I'd be away for the night? - Eduard asked with obvious annoyance in his voice. It had been a year since he had saved her from being captured by some Shield agents, and apart from her cousin who was strangely alive with her on the ship, but was a baby, he was the only other Kryptonian she knew, and even though he had made it clear that he was only half-Kryptonian, she didn't seem to mind too much; normally he wouldn't be bothered by the fact that she liked him to spend the night with her in the place he had built for his projects hidden away from his sister and his guardian, but recently she had been a "problem" that prevented him from going out to sleep in the sun which was really necessary to avoid worse shit than an avatar of Darkseid that he knew existed in both universes. Not rushing back, Eduard closed his eyes and observed the improvement in his body and powers. - The only things I've managed to acquire so far apart from normal abilities are the projection of energy as an aura and control of the electromagnetic aspect... And it looks like it'll be a while before the next abilities appear... - Complaining aloud, he opened his eyes, which were now blue again, and sighed.

Kara POV:

Looking at the hologram of a little girl who could be considered a female copy of Eduard Kara asked again. - Didn't you say that if I kept pestering him to spend more time together, he'd ask me to...? - At this point Kara became a little embarrassed as she left the sentence incomplete.

- Stop laughing! - I glared at the only person I'd ever talked to about how I felt being with Eduard for a whole year.

Looking at the hologram that seemed to be wiping tears from the corner of its eyes, I could only sigh and sit back down on the sofa. - Couldn't you tell me where he is?

Looking at her I could only sigh, looking at my cell phone I simply looked at some photos we had taken together while a smile formed on my face; I didn't know why Cortana was helping me to get closer to him, but I really appreciated it, ever since he helped us I had become a little dependent on him and started to want to spend more time with him, even though he was busy enough not to sleep when he wasn't doing something secret somewhere; the smile on her face became more pronounced as she just relaxed and continued to remember how she ended up falling in love with him not because she was saved, but out of admiration and the care he gave her and her cousin.

- Cortana, do you think if I stop being clingy and ask him out, he'll accept? - I looked up after asking, but instead of Cortana I saw Ed who was shirtless looking surprised at me and then at Cortana who seemed excited by the sight; at that moment my mind just blanked out until I felt a hand on my shoulder before he was right next to me with a smile on his face that only made me feel even more embarrassed.

Eduard POV:

- Cortana, do you think if I stop being clingy and ask him out, he'll accept? - Hearing this as I entered the room I ended up simply hanging up for a few moments before my gaze focused on Kara's face again, at the moment her face was slightly reddened as she stared at him in obvious surprise; looking at her face he had to admit that she was the most beautiful girl he knew, and the contrast of her slightly reddened face together with her short-cropped bright blonde hair made her look adorable too. After a few moments of admiring her without even realizing it, I just walked up to her and noticed that she was distracted, so I put my hand on her shoulder to get her attention without realizing that I was smiling at her.

- So, you want to go out with me? - Looking at her reaction of starting to float as she blushed even more, he couldn't help but squeeze her cheek; truth be told, even if he didn't want to start a relationship right now he wouldn't be frustrated by Kara's advances if it wasn't for the fact that he also had feelings for her, but as a minor who doesn't want to get on the radar of annoying people like Shield and Hydra he just intended to wait until he was of age and moved out to worry about it, but honestly deep down he knows he doesn't need to wait since he has a few houses he built himself far from where he lives or a few he built underground nearby for Kara to live near him, plus he can hack any system on the planet after studying Krypton's technology, so looking into her eyes he just decided to ignore all these problems and go for it, after all, it was his second life, if he didn't live now than when?

- ... - Looking at Kara who just nodded and looked at him with a red face as his eyes wandered, he just smiled amusedly and continued looking at the girl for a few more seconds before sitting down next to her, forgetting that he still had his shirt off.

- I think it would be nice to relax... - I said as I looked up at the roof, and thanks to that I ended up missing Kara smiling at me thanks to the answer.

- So, when are we going? - Kara asked a little shyly, but still kept looking into my eyes when I looked at her.

- A few days... - I said and seeing the slight disappointment on her face I just smiled as I pinched his nose and seeing his surprised expression I smiled even more, after deciding to put my worries aside I decided to let myself go a little more, at least around those I care about like Kara my sister and my father who visits us from time to time. - You know that I live with a secret agent Kara and that if I hadn't hacked all the cameras in the place I wouldn't be able to go out to meet you or do my thing at night, and to go out with you without being hidden I need more than just a false identity for you considering their care I need to put together a complete story... - I went on to explain the various problems that simply going out with me during the day would bring and how I would solve them, the first thing I decided to make were realistic robots with an artificial intelligence based on Cortana, I would use them as Kara and Clark's parents, the name I chose to register their cousin, I would also hire them in my company where I used realistic androids as the owner couple, of course, they would only be the owners until I came of age and then they would pass it on to me and I honestly don't mind the possible attention at this point.

- After I set up a life including footage of you and your family that won't make Shield keep an eye on you all day, you can become my neighbor or just go to the same school I'm going to in a few weeks. - I said as I looked at Kara who at some point in the explanation had learned her head on my shoulder and just listened.

- I think it would be best if I just studied at your school, but I want to live with you... - Listening to her, I couldn't help but smile amusedly before answering.

- Even though the idea is incredible, for a few more years that's not possible... - I commented with a playful smile and seeing that she just nodded without any annoyance on her face, he continued. - I can arrange for you to become my neighbor before school, so we can start talking and spend more time together without too much suspicion... - Seeing her perk up, he decided to follow this path; he looked away from Kara and at the image Cortana had adopted and asked. - Can you put her in the same room I'm going to at the Midtown School of Science and Technology?

[Of course, that'll be easy]

- Thank you. - After thanking Cortana I couldn't help but feel a little anxious, after all, I don't think Peter should be entering school yet, but since he was strangely entering the same year it would be interesting to watch Spider-Man's life; maybe he could help him not have such a miserable life and let him be one of the heroes he oversees and assists in the future.

Before he could lose himself in thought he felt Kara settle herself better before leaning on him as if intending to nap, and even though neither of them needed to sleep or even eat they would still do it from time to time simply out of desire and realizing that she seemed to want to nap now he decided to just mentally talk to Cortana while asking her to bring up holograms of all the data and other things he needed while continuing to work by mentally interacting with the holograms thanks to Cortana.

This chapter will be a little longer, so tomorrow I won't be able to post it and I will continue writing since this chapter will make the first appearances of "Superman" occur, and will also make the character begin to develop his "heroic sense" even much grayer than DC's by default; the first appearance will be bad, but it's only the first anyway; If you have some suggestions for the story, try to put it in the next two days as I won't have chapters for the story...
