A Love Unfated - Love After Marriage
Parents wishes are something you want to fulfill. But you sometimes you're incapable to do it, sometimes you do have your own wishes which go against them, and sometimes you just don't want to. Love for parents or Love for yourself - What should one choose? Niharika in her first life, supported her parents' wishes to not fall in love. They didn't wish her to not fall in love but not to fall in love with any person of other caste. But she couldn't love anybody, not even her husband. She married according to their wishes but her life ended monotonously with death of her husband. She also had an unsuccessful marriage which lasted until her last breath, unsuccessful for the man. She never needed a marriage, let alone a successful one. She regretted not acting like a loving wife for him afterall she only acted all her life for everybody. Her husband had to live his life in pain and agony. Once capable man died with a lot of grievances and unfulfilled wishes. Niharika blamed herself. Her children suffered all because of her. A life she didn't want to repeat. This time she still listened to her parents and married a guy of their choice but she kept herself and her desire above too. All leading to a facade of marriage. But this time, she still met her unfated partner. She decided to compensate her first life's debt. But her choices led her to the love of her life. Her heart rang like a bell the moment she saw him. It was like all roads of her life ended at him. But the man was a taboo for her parents. He was a taboo for her because of her principles. Will she still be able to live her life fully or would her life come to an end just like her last life? Will she have to go through her uncoloured life again and is this still her last life? Past
Suyash couldn't understand what his family didn't like about Krisha. Only 2 people, his elder brother and sister-in-law had neutral stance, in that matter. While his brother-in-law chose to side with his wife. All other family members, his father, mother, grandparents, sister, all of them disapproved of Krisha and his relationship.
He couldn't understand why. While his brother had arranged marriage which turned out to be successful one, but her sister have had love marriage. So his family wasn't against love marriage or inter-caste marriage but they just didn't like Krisha. Moreover they bluntly told him about their decision of separation if he marries her. At that time he neither had job or business. He was still in college. Bit he had a child with her at 20, so he took her to meet them as soon as he was 21, legally eligible for marriage.
There was too much drama that happened. He had just graduated and set-up his business. He couldn't separate from his family while he had nothing in hand. How would he take care of a wife and child. Moreover him being upperclass had its influence. Though Krisha was from lower-middle class, he couldn't afford to live in poverty even of she could. So he asked her to wait. He was trying to convince his parents. Initially his parents didn't force him or anything. But as he reached 25, they started arranging blind-dates for him. He would always ask the girl to reject him if she showed any interest and so 2 years passed. And finally at 27 he married Niharika. On their wedding night he found out that Krisha was 1 month pregnant. So he had second child by 28 years. During all this time, he never told his family that he already had 2 children. None of the family members were in know of this.
His brother was in US, so his circle was different and his sister lived in Delhi so she too didn't have any commonalities in their circle. Furthermore after she eighty-sixed his relationship with Krisha, he and her relationship became a little strained. She only contacted Niharika and both of them have quite good relationship.
In fact all members had very good relationship with her. None of them dislikes her in anyway. This was something he couldn't understand. Although Niharika was only acting as his wife, whether her relationship with his family members was taken seriously or just another act for her was something he had no idea about. He didn't even ask. Anyway it wasn't like they talked without reasons. If they were alone then it was only when they were acting. As soon as they were alone, Niharika would revert to her normal cold and aloof self. She wouldn't even say a word to him. Otherwise Krisha would always be present so they never talked about anything. He knew about so little that he could say that he knows more about the guard more. His and her relationship was as good as strangers. She made it like that.
