A Love Unfated - Love After Marriage
Parents wishes are something you want to fulfill. But you sometimes you're incapable to do it, sometimes you do have your own wishes which go against them, and sometimes you just don't want to. Love for parents or Love for yourself - What should one choose? Niharika in her first life, supported her parents' wishes to not fall in love. They didn't wish her to not fall in love but not to fall in love with any person of other caste. But she couldn't love anybody, not even her husband. She married according to their wishes but her life ended monotonously with death of her husband. She also had an unsuccessful marriage which lasted until her last breath, unsuccessful for the man. She never needed a marriage, let alone a successful one. She regretted not acting like a loving wife for him afterall she only acted all her life for everybody. Her husband had to live his life in pain and agony. Once capable man died with a lot of grievances and unfulfilled wishes. Niharika blamed herself. Her children suffered all because of her. A life she didn't want to repeat. This time she still listened to her parents and married a guy of their choice but she kept herself and her desire above too. All leading to a facade of marriage. But this time, she still met her unfated partner. She decided to compensate her first life's debt. But her choices led her to the love of her life. Her heart rang like a bell the moment she saw him. It was like all roads of her life ended at him. But the man was a taboo for her parents. He was a taboo for her because of her principles. Will she still be able to live her life fully or would her life come to an end just like her last life? Will she have to go through her uncoloured life again and is this still her last life? Jinendra tapped her forehead with his index finger.
"I didn't raise you to hear this."
Niharika pouted when he poked her cheeks again and again while speaking. Her brother loved to poke them, and it was very annoying.
She slapped his hand and he retracted his hand with a smile.
"Anyway brother Krisha belonged to that organisation. I need your help in this."
Jinendra was shocked and stunned. He didn't know his sister's rank but he was very shocked at this moment. This means she knew him and his identity but he didn't know that she knows. This .. It made him flabbergasted for moment.
Actually the information about this organisation and its activities were known to only some higher ranked officials of military and DIA. This was highly confidential matter. If it was Suyash, then it was understandable that he knew about this. First he was directly involved and second his rank was enough for him to find out about this matter.
But Niharika knowing it meant only one thing. She was of same rank as him if not higher. Because he never knew about Niharika's presence or rank. This means that she was able to remain outside his purview and that is possible only if she has equal or higher officiality than him.
But he was very shocked because Niharika was never trained. She should have started afresh and not being in his school meant she was not outstanding enough in her youth and that means she wasn't trained. But to get rank equal to him was not possible without training atleast for time he had taken.
Jinendra wasn't boasting or being conceited, but he was one of those very high rank achievers and his momentum never loosened. He couldn't understand, how Niharika reached a height when she started climbing so late. And if she was so outstanding then how did she not show her talent in her early years.
Jinendra never thought that Niharika had actually refused to join the school's invitation and had taken an ordinary path but had been trained by the senior most person. The reason was ofcourse because she refused to take the invitation.
Although Jinendra's parents knew about him, they remained in dark in respect to Niharika's affairs.
Niharika didn't mind his reaction. She gave him to time to digest the information she had just bombarded him with. Niharika was actually a rank higher than him and can very well conceal or open herself without permission of others.
Though it was only one rank difference but it was too much to bridge this gap. There were only 4 people of about Niharika's age at this rank and this was only the third generation with so many youngster of this rank.
Jinendra tried to compose himself back. The information she have was too sudden and too big to digest at the moment.
"Are you asking my help as a sister?"
(N) "No, brother, I won't do that you know. To be honest, the case is assigned to your team and you will get the intimation about it soon, in around 2-3 days. I am just informing beforehand and I want you to keep me in loop in regards to this case. Although we have done the investigation but it is not deep enough. I am just letting you be in know of my existence and identity. Otherwise it would have been difficult for you to contact me."
(J) "I see..... Does Suyash know about you?"
(N) "No, he doesn't need to nor is he qualified to."
