A Love Unfated - Love After Marriage
Parents wishes are something you want to fulfill. But you sometimes you're incapable to do it, sometimes you do have your own wishes which go against them, and sometimes you just don't want to. Love for parents or Love for yourself - What should one choose? Niharika in her first life, supported her parents' wishes to not fall in love. They didn't wish her to not fall in love but not to fall in love with any person of other caste. But she couldn't love anybody, not even her husband. She married according to their wishes but her life ended monotonously with death of her husband. She also had an unsuccessful marriage which lasted until her last breath, unsuccessful for the man. She never needed a marriage, let alone a successful one. She regretted not acting like a loving wife for him afterall she only acted all her life for everybody. A life she didn't want to repeat. This time she still listened to her parents and married a guy of their choice but she kept herself and her desire above too. All leading to a facade of marriage. But this time, she still met her unfated partner. She decided to compensate her first life's debt. But her choices led her to the love of her life. Her heart rang like a bell the moment she saw him. It was like all roads of her life ended at him. But the man was a taboo for her parents. He was a taboo for her because of her principles. Vidya was embarassed that her reaction was seen by everyone. Her face turned red and she hid behind Sridhar. But still peeked at Niharika from behind his back. Niharika was very amused by her and for the first time laughed out loud. Effect of her laughter was in fact greater than Arihant. He only made hearts of opposite gender beat fast but Niharika kept honest to her principle of no discrimination. She made hearts of both genders beat faster.
Meet even said," Don't laugh Niharika. It's not good for our heart."
Arihant said from behind,"So leave your hearts next time at home when you come to meet us."
Meet glared at the guy who took his opportunity of speaking with her. It was not easy for him to find a chance to have talk with this kind of woman and that too with permission of his wife."
Arihant turned to Kunica and said," keep your husband in check. He is slipping."
Kunica said in a low voice and red face," I am slipping too. Let us slip together."
Arihant was stunned for a moment and then a helpless smile spread across his face while he shook his head.
Both Ishaani and Niharika laughed at them. Actually Ishaani was the only one immune here against the charm of Niharika and Arihant. So Kunica asked her curiously.
"Ehh you are not affected by them?"
(I) "Actually my brother is on par with Arihant and Niharika. I am looking at him since my birth, so I can keep my composure."
(K) "Really? He is on par with Arihant?"
(I) "Yes. In fact my father was also very handsome in his younger years and is still a handsome man. My looks lean more towards my grandfather, so I am that good-looking. But my brother inherited looks from both my mother and father, so he is very handsome."
They never knew about it. Actually they knew few people who were of Arihant's standards in looks but weren't close so it was same as them being here or not.
"Ohh so you're Ishaant's sister, right?," asked Sridhar.
"Yup, you got it right", said Ishaani smiling.
"Oh mon dieu! I never knew that our enemies sister became our sister in law", said Meet exasperatedly.
"What and whose enemy? Don't go spouting nonsense everywhere", said Suyash while narrowing his and slapping Meet's shoulder lightly.
"Brother Trishant is so lucky", said Meet while rubbing his shoulder exaggeratedly and glaring at Suyash, who just ignored the dramatic man.
Niharika realised something at this moment, that she is the only one among Zaveri family who didn't know Ishaani's brother. Everybody else were familiar with each other. Ishaani didn't fall in love with Trishant suddenly but knew him from her childhood days.
She came to discover many things today. Like in last life, Brother Trishant only occasionally talked with her and that too very little. He wasn't like today. It seemed that she had missed out on many things in her last life. She wasn't close with these people in last life. They had tried to but Niharika was too busy to maintain contact and didn't find it necessary either, as she kept herself at a distance with Arihant's people.
