Cremation

"Also she appears to be replaced with fake around 3 years ago. It might have happened during your wedding talks. We are not clear about it yet. They might have killed the real Krisha to not let cat out of bag.

Suyash informed us too late. We would have been able to rescue real Krisha if he informed us when he asked us to get DNA reports. It's a pity. You should have seen real Krisha. She looked like a gentle and kind lady. It seems his parents had some misunderstanding because of fake one.

Also, it looks like that fake one got infatuated with Suyash and therefore reacted too strongly but we can not confirm this. It might have been a distraction as well."

Samiksha continued her report after a slight pause.

"Samiksha, how much time did you guys take to solve the case?", asked Niharika.

"We were able to get it done within an hour. Though it seems easy but we don't have any clues left now", said Samiksha.

"Then you wouldn't have been able to save her. You should add might and not give people false hope, especially to the soldiers. Remember this", said Niharika softly.

"I will", Samiksha said resolutely and kept her head down.

After a few moments of silence, Niharika asked," how much time before we can get postmortem report?"

"Most probably in 3 hours."

"Got it. Make sure to send her with proper procedures. She is a civilian but has sacrificed for the country. Also leave the rest of the case to me. I would take over this personally."

Car stopped and Niharika got out of the car. After standing for a few moments she saw a few cars coming towards her. She looked at cars and then turned her head. She could see that sun has risen from behind the trees. The morning wasn't particularly cold or hot. The trees were rustling, like welcoming the new day.

She lowered her head slowly. The cars had already stopped in front of her. She opened the passenger seat, took a bottle from the driver and slowly walked around the car in direction of rising sun.

She uncapped the bottle and lowered its head so water can flow down. With that she said the mahamrityunjay mantra and let all the water flow out. Finally she capped the bottle, crushed it and threw it in the public dustbin near by.

She soon reached home but didn't waste anytime and went straight towards her study. She needed few things in order to solve this case.

While after postmortem, the body of Krisha was sent to Suyash's personal villa. This villa wasn't known to Krisha before. It was initially prepared for her but after his wedding, Krisha had changed quite much so he changed his mind. Now she was able to come but she couldn't live here anymore.

Suyash went to Arihant and brought his children back. He also informed his parents, Niharika and Krisha's parents and family about her death. The atmosphere in the villa was too solemn. Krisha was made to wear brand new clothes and jewellery.

After Krisha's family arrived, they went to cremate her. Suyash took over as her husband and performed all the rituals. Seeing this, his parents and sister subconsciously looked at Niharika and felt very conflicted. Her husband was performing rituals for another woman as her husband. Though she might have died but they cannot change their impression of the woman just because of that. They were not very clear about situation and thought that it was better to keep silent when they looked at Suyash. Also they were unable to tell who the children were of. Women were generally not allowed to take part in cremation and therefore only Krisha's mother and sister followed Suyash to look at from afar.
