A Love Unfated - Love After Marriage
Parents wishes are something you want to fulfill. But you sometimes you're incapable to do it, sometimes you do have your own wishes which go against them, and sometimes you just don't want to. Love for parents or Love for yourself - What should one choose? Niharika in her first life, supported her parents' wishes to not fall in love. They didn't wish her to not fall in love but not to fall in love with any person of other caste. But she couldn't love anybody, not even her husband. She married according to their wishes but her life ended monotonously with death of her husband. She also had an unsuccessful marriage which lasted until her last breath, unsuccessful for the man. She never needed a marriage, let alone a successful one. She regretted not acting like a loving wife for him afterall she only acted all her life for everybody. Her husband had to live his life in pain and agony. Once capable man died with a lot of grievances and unfulfilled wishes. Niharika blamed herself. Her children suffered all because of her. A life she didn't want to repeat. This time she still listened to her parents and married a guy of their choice but she kept herself and her desire above too. All leading to a facade of marriage. But this time, she still met her unfated partner. She decided to compensate her first life's debt. But her choices led her to the love of her life. Her heart rang like a bell the moment she saw him. It was like all roads of her life ended at him. But the man was a taboo for her parents. He was a taboo for her because of her principles. Will she still be able to live her life fully or would her life come to an end just like her last life? Will she have to go through her uncoloured life again and is this still her last life? Coaxing for Information
Initially they thought it was something they shouldn't hear but as voices continued to come they came to an understanding that both Niharika and Suyash were fighting. Though voices could be heard, it wasn't loud enough for them to hear what they were saying. After 15 minutes of continuous noise, they heard a bang. Mother Ritushi looked outside from the small gap. She saw his son carrying his son entering the unoccupied room.
It seemed both of them has just quarreled. They looked at each other and thought that it might be because they talked about child.
Next morning they looked at the couple. Both of them were behaving like nothing happened yesterday, and they were all good and fine. They were puzzled now, because it didn't seem like they have reconciled. But since they looked harmonious, they felt they might have gone wrong somewhere. But at night, same as yesterday, loud voices came bit only for 5 minutes which stopped with a bang, and again they saw Suyash going to unoccupied room. But next morning both of them were again in harmony. Now the couple was truly baffled. This continuously happened for 3 days but on third day, they only heard a loud bang without any prior noise.
Next day, Ritushi took the task to ask around. She saw Anika, who was young. Ritushi knew that only she can provide them with information. So she went to talk to her.
"Anika."
"Madam!"
"What are you doing?"
"Huh, oh I'm just watering these plants."
"Raghu isn't here?"
"Gardener Uncle has taken leave. And since I have experience of gardening so this task was assigned to me by ma'am."
"I see. Didn't Yash took care of this in Raghu's absence?", Ritushi asked casually.
"S-Sir did but.." Anika hesitated and didn't know how to continue.
Ritushi knew that the time has come.
"continue, why did you stop?"
Anika bit her lip and looked left and right and saw nobody was around. But she still kept her mouth shut. Ritushi liked this young girl. She knew not to spill information but she needed it so the girl can only go with flow.
"What? Don't worry nobody here can go against me. You can speak. No one will blame you." Ofcourse she was just coaxing her for details.
Anika opened her mouth but closed it again. She was like a fish, popping her small mouth. At last her expression changed to helplessness under Ritushi's stare.
"Madam, actually sir and ma'am are not on good terms since last 4 months. In fact ma'am went on this project despite it not being hers. Whenever they meet they would fight. Actually ma'am has returned around a week ago, 6 days to be exact and sir too." She stuttered a lot but still told many things.
"Why did they fight?"
This time Anika didn't hesitate anymore. "We don't know the reason. Around 4 months ago, they went to a party. But ma'am came back first and then sir came back and since then their relationship turned out like this."
"I see. Alright don't worry. You never said anything to me nor did I ask you anything. Okay?"se
Anika turned pale and said "Yes. Yes.", while bowing her head.
