At six years old, Raxithak still kept track of how many times his father visited him. Thirty seven times. The demon Silvester had visited his son thirty seven times in six years. Raxith was right about the fact that his demonic father's visits became lesser and lesser as he grew older, but when he was an infant, the demon seemed to love showing at wee hours of the night, the entire Devinsky mansion was dark and quiet, when his mother was asleep on her bed, leaving her son in his crib by himself.
It's also funny to watch his father cooing at the baby as quiet as he could so that he didn't wake up Noah Devinsky, or any other Devinskies in the mansion on the same floor, or the two dozen servants that inhabit the mansion.
How the demon managed to bypass the ward around the mansion was a mystery, but Raxithak didn't trouble himself to find out. Instead, he played with his father since the demon's soft spot was very limited.
