This book is crazy good, It has been soo long since I found a book that has no BS and hardly any intense fight or schemes but still won’t let you put the book down. Absolutely one of the best books, You just can’t have enough of it. As Many have said above and in comments there is another Group with more than 170 chapters translated but for the first time I think Qidians quality is better.

I already read upto chapter 173 chapter of this book on kitchen novel . In that site novels name is DADDY S FANTASY WORLD RESTAURANT. it was very well going untill we novel make them stop translating. They released one chapters per day.so please release a Mass release untill chapter 173 or we regular readers need to wait few months to continuing our read..

My 2.8 stars is not given for the novel itself but for the translation quality. Henyee Translations has picked up a lot of novels, and while I appreciate the effort, THE QUALITY OF THE NOVEL HAS BEEN AFFECTED. I'm not sure about others, but it greatly affects my enjoyment of a novel when I have to constantly re-word and correct grammar in my head. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the grammar quality was bad from the beginning, because I would just not start the novel (like it is with some translation projects and a majority of the original stories I have tried). However, some of these novels were translated with good English before; but after moving to webnovels or being picked up by Henyee translations, the quality of the translated English has drastically decreased, even to the point of affecting my understanding and enjoyment of the plot. Henyee Translations is not alone in this, but I am talking about them specifically because a few of the novels I used to read have been taken over/picked up by them. So Webnovels, Henyee translations, and other translation groups, although I appreciate your efforts, since we are being charged so much for reading these translations, I think the least we readers deserve is more effort going into providing quality English syntax, grammar, and plot clarity. Thank you.

Having read this before Qiduan picked it up, I can assure you that this is a great fluffy novel of a father and his daughter’s life at their home restaurant. The characters are all likeable and there is a deeper plot within but it’s still very slow paced. I definitely recommend it and I hope they’ll catch up with previous translations soon!

I wonder how much time I will have to wait till it catches up with kitchennovel translation (173 chapters). Though, I do find the current translation quality more agreeable. The story is nice and fluffy. The owner is not arrogant as its other counterpart kitchen novels and Amy is sharp and cute. System is often bullied, which is nice to read.

The novel seems interesting, but the translation quality is pretty bad overall. It desperately needs an editor. This being a novel that will be paid eventually, the standard should be higher.

Can someone fuxking please tell me why every fuxking gourmet novel has a fuxking LOLI?! This may be good and I'll read it reluctantly (since reviews are good, not that trustworthy tho.) then decide for real. BUT WHY ALWAYS A FUXKING LOLI IN GOURMET NOVELS?! And there better be no one that says no, or I'll name each of the novels one by one, damn it.

This book had great potential but it became more annoying by the time......the MC was given a system to force him to learn cooking because of his harsh reviews in his previous life and the system was quite witty and interesting but it soon became money-seeking system going to the point of selling kid’s toys,designs for clothes,bikes etc So MC starts a partnership with a chothing company in other world by giving them designs(bought from the system) for share of profits and also shares steam engine as well....the system should be preventing him from doing this as getting money from other venues will affect him from the restaurant..... The kid was absolutely adorable,she was timid,cautious and very easy to satisfy (less demanding in terms of toys,food etc) but just after getting good food and clothes and few people calling her cute she become very daring as well as demanding....she was happy with few copper coins to buy crude pancake but now she demands for desserts,clothes,toys etc....this might be good for a kid to a certain extent but the transformation was ways too fast and before she was more mature for her age but soon became bratty.... The kid is talented but her talent is very exaggerated(she can be called a powerhouse within one year after starting to learn magic) but no one suspects a thing. Everyone know that she is half-elf with white hair with similar personality as elf princess and also has great potential for magic and the MC does not change his name ....They are like ‘MC cannot be Mag Alex because Alex cannot cook and is supposed to be dead’...you can say that the whole world is as dense a harem protag in this situation...... Sometimes the system missions don’t have equal reward-penalty... the penalty is becoming a cripple who cannot leave the bed and reward is a recipe so the MC is forced to complete every mission the system gives him so it is more like system command rather than system mission..... MC tries to become a good parent and succedes in getting rid of her inferior mentality but fails in correcting her other mistake and ignores it saying that it is cute.....the child gives names which sometimes can be called cute but most times it is plain insulting and if the people scold her or don’t like it they become narrow-minded and if they don’t mind it than they are good people....and the MC never corrects her or becomes angry at her.....over one year the kid keeps on giving names where some side-characters laugh it off and people who don’t like it are face-slapped and she keeps on threatening others to set fire on them for various reasons....I think that MC should at least have educated her to call people properly as name calling insults would easily make people angry or hurt weak will people...... And finally the MC doesn’t have any ambitions except doting on his daughter...there is very less story development as MC only gives new recipes and restores his predecessors strength and the kid somehow become Op(becomes 6 or 7 th level out to ten levels) within a year where MC who is ‘restoring’ his previous strength with a cheat system can barely keep-up or surpass her.... There werw many interesting characters but they soon plunge in one directional characters...now I don’t see much difference character-wise in the waitresses who were vivid and ‘exotic’ when they first appeared... I am not going to comment on translation because you may have already read them in other comments...but anyway this is a typical face-slapping novel with a kid and food in the combo

After reading this novel you will find it hard to read xian xia stories. A cool headed mc with a funny system and interesting characters that have their own stories.

Heart warming fluffy story U grow to love and care for the characters their ups and down and the way they stand up to their problems. From easy going day to day life between Father and loli daughter, with good and delicious food for those food junkies 👍👍👍 don't wait anymore come & join the fun.

I think author may be lolicon.he try really hard to tell reader that MC daughter are so cute and everyone love her and she is super genius.more over this girl are make me annoy very much she is very violent and like to show off even in front of those that have bad time. she call everyone by insult name such as bald fatty or something like that(and author try to make it look cute but it not) when someone anger her author try to make them look bad and stupid.it like this novel is pedo self insert 2. conversation MC and system are funny but author use same joke again and again so it boring and stupid 2.1 author like to force joke too much ( sweet and sour tofu war ) 3. story is pretty fun and make me enjoy but food novel are easy to make it fun anyway

The fact that they don't even bother to clean up the names from the mtl shows that the TL is lazy. Personally, I liked the novel better when it was with the previous translator.

So far I've been reading and I really enjoy the novel and its progress but..Amy...she irritates me so much with her personality and how mag doesn't do anything about it.
