-gerald: "come in, Daniel."

-daniel: "s-sir.. you asked after me.."

-gerald: "seriously stop calling me sir"

-daniel: "s-sorry."

-gerald: "anyway, i wanted to talk to you about something"

-daniel: "what is it?"

-gerald: "I'm preparing some papers for you to sign"

-daniel: "what are they for?"

-gerald: "a house.. and im sending some money to your account."

-daniel: "huh? N-no this is not what im here for.."

-gerald: "i know daniel.. and this is why i trust you. Im just trying to show you my gratitude."

-daniel: "a- a book will do it sir.. pl-us g-gratitude for what? I-i love mina and i-im j-just trying to- prove it."

-Gerald: "and i consider you as a son of mine and im just trying to prove it. Don't argue with me, i said my word."

-daniel: "b-but i don't know how this will make me feel.. it's"

-gerald: "oh please daniel don't make me believe that telling you was a bad idea."

-daniel: "so-rry.."

-mina: "what's with that face? What did my father say?"

-daniel: "..he is giving me a house and.. money.."

-mina: "wow these are some good news!"

-daniel: "i don't know.. are they?"

-mina: "you're not happy?"

-daniel: "it's.. i don't know, i never showed that i'm in need, did i? I don't know what he thinks of me.. does he think im pathetic?"

-mina: "noo! Danny that's just my father's way to express his love and appreciation."

-daniel: "i really.. don't know how to feel about it- I'm"

His eyes gargled with tears and his face turned all red

"im not here for this."

-mina: "daniel"

She softly took him between her arms to comfort him

"Please don't be mad at him, he has been dealing with people who only consider big bags, now this became his only way of expressing his love so please.. if it made you feel this bad about yourself, I'll talk to dad about it"

-Daniel: "t-thank you"

Mina went to her father's office and pushed the door open

-mina: "DAD!"

-gerald: "oh mina. What is this violent entry.. You okay?"

-mina: "yes im but Daniel's not"

-gerald: "what's wrong?"

-mina: "he didn't like your offer at all! You embarrassed him so much. I explained to him your true intentions and he understands but it made him feel bad and couldn't accept it. Dad Daniel is not some greedy business man!"

-gerald: "okay I'll apologize to him."

She got closer and hugged him tightly

-mina: "thank youuuuu!"

-Daniel: "mina, I'm going to my place to get my guitar and some other stuff, wanna tag along?"

-Mina: "No! Spending time in the backyard is fine but.. going all the way to your place Never!"

-Daniel: "oh come on, I wanna get it to sing for you"

-Mina: "N-no, I can't.."

-Daniel: "Miiinaaa~ pretty pleaaaase!!"

-Mina: "f-fine.. but.. only if my dad.. comes with us"

-Daniel: "(I think she won't feel safe being with me alone outside, well that's fair..) sure!! I'll ask him to join"

Gerald was so happy with what he heard from Daniel, he went to see mina in a hurry not believing that she's agreed to leave the house

-Gerald: "mina.. you agreed to go out?"

-Mina: "y-yea.. but only if you come with us"

-Gerald: "I will gladly come with you.. Should we take the car or have a walk"

-Mina: "I.. I don't wanna get in a car.."

After going to Daniel's house on feet and getting what he needed, they decided to pass by a patisserie and buy some cake on their way back home

-Gerald: "What do you wanna have?"

-Mina: "the one with strawberry on top!" She said excitedly

-Gerald: "they're all topped with strawberry"

-Mina: "Yes! let's take them all, it's hard to pick anyway..right Daniel?"

-Daniel: "Yea.. they all look so tempting"

Gerald bought them two of each flavor,

Mina refused to wait till she gets home so she took the cupped one and started eating it,

Her father kept just staring at her and how innocently she was acting while thinking to himself

(-Gerald: "she was diagnosed with agoraphobia.. A person with agoraphobia is afraid to leave environments they know or consider to be safe. They mostly consider their home to be the only safe environment. They may avoid leaving it for days, months or even years.

But she did it.. she's walking down the street and eating cake with a smile on her face.. she really is getting better huh? I'm grateful..")

-daniel: "just what made you think it was okay to barbecue in mina's house?? You're not even that close with her father!"

-kai: "yes, but you're and im using you."

-daniel: "how rude."

(-kai: "i wanna entertain her even if i make a fool out of myself.. she made anya smile when i couldn't do it. i owe her one")

-mina: "what should we do after dinner?"

-kai: "let's play soccer, Daniel and i are good at it we always win."

-daniel: "? That's because we never had a real match we only play with my neighbors children."

-kai: "a win is a win"

-mina: "you play with kids and don't let them win over you?"

-kai: "why would we? If they want to win they'll have to earn it"

-daniel: "you're sounding so childish"

-kai: "says the kid who loves ninjago"

-anya: "pahahahahhaha! I knew that you'll bring that up kai"

-daniel: "W-WHAT'S WRONG WITH LOVING NINJAGO!!!??"

-mina: "it's a kids show danny."

-daniel: "y-yea"

-mina: "but since you love it im sure it's interesting, let's watch it together some other time!"

-kai: "damn! Everything i say to make her think less of him make them closer."

-anya: "you're not happy about that?"

-kai: "of course not! I want Daniel for myself!"

-daniel: "H-HOW CUTE!"

-Anya: "what the hell?"

-Mina: "what's going on? Are we being left out!!?"

They all laughed then Daniel got up and said

-daniel: "anyway mina i just got a text from your father he wants me up. I'll go check him."

-mina: "okay"

-daniel: "kai you better get the dinner ready before i come back."

-anya: "dan im coming with you!"

-anya: "wow their house is so big

I think we're lost."

-daniel: "we're not i know where his office is"

-anya: "oh okay, Ill just follow you then."

-daniel: "it's behind this door. Im going in and you wait here okay?"

-anya: "im coming with you"

-daniel: "NO! he asked to see me. It'd not be nice if you came along."

-anya: "You lived here for few weeks and you're already acting like a high-class bitch!"

-daniel: "ZIP IT!"

-mina: "kai.. why did Daniel quit karate? I never had the chance to ask him about it."

-kai: "he won third place in a tournament."

-mina: "isn't that a reason to keep going?"

-kai: "i know right?.. but Daniel has a different opinion. it sure was a big day and opportunity.

Everyone was there cheering for him. He thought he disappointed them and let them down. It's mostly because he feels like he owes them, so he thinks he has to pay them back by being always on top so they don't feel like they wasted their time raising him.

I tried to make him understand that everyone was happy for him as long as he was enjoying it and that they weren't expecting anything from him to begin with, they were happy just to be there for him. Alex's club became so famous thanks to daniel and a lot of people joined in. Kids in his neighborhood see him as a hero.. but he doesn't understand, he keeps saying that he's a loser and he troubled everyone for nothing."

-mina: "i see.. your mom told me before that he's the type to give up easily. He gives nothing a second go."

-kai: "yea that's Daniel."

2 hours later, the barbeque was ready,

They all had dinner together and sat in the garden chatting and singing

-kai: "Daniel, since you have your guitar you must play something for us"

-Anya: "yesss!"

-Daniel: "I didn't use it for too long, I must've forgotten how to.."

-Kai: "Ah! Stop, you'll do just fine"

-Mina: "come on Daniel! You said you wanted to get it to sing for me, what happened now?"

-Daniel: "o-ok"
