Author's Reincarnation in a Fantasy Setting

Hey, the shameless author is here! Again giving my own novel a five-star rating! So this is my second novel and I hope you all will enjoy reading it, if you do enjoy then don't forget to add a review and share your experience. Also, take this review as a Q and A and ask me anything related to the novel in the comments of this review.

20 chapters in, honest review Facts first: MC is op right from the start, is staying low-key, is very smart. Good points: The writing is not cringe (very little) He was training for 5 years to become from C to B for his stats.(character building) His sister seems to find something odd with zero since his sickness and mc took his place. Potential good development plot. Bad points: I don't really like the 'Status system' in the magical world. MC parents straight up just ask him his stats and did not use tools to ascertain his potential. Then there's the timeskip from his isekai date to 5 years later. It skipped on so much family interaction that could have happened (specially since MC said he became emotionally attached to them like real family) Potential writing on MC coping with the isekai skipped. For all these iskais, i can't help but think these MCs liked the isekai world better and wanted it. Anothet bad plot was the story building to the tournament arc which was basically none. The tournament was just dumped in there and the info that the kingdom's princess would come is also dumped in. Furthermore, this tournament is called 'the best warrior of the decade' but it is conducted in some small city and MCs parents said that Anya was the strongest in the city with average E rank stats. Not much sense. This arc can only be called lazy. For all the supposed grandeur, MC was able to sign in his own sister as a contestant without her knowledge (though he did tell his sister he had a plan). This just shows that the security for the tournament very very low. Again not much sense. Then another thing dumped in there is MC suddenly becomes a smart schemer who sees everyone as a 'piece'. Just like that, no development prior. Mind you he was a normal average guy in his previous life Lastly, the fact that he was able to set an explosive (dunno how he could even know how) under the princess platform is just idiotic. Royalty of a kingdom and any B rank magician can just slide in and harm her life. Where is the security, royal knights. Moreover, after she was saved by Anya (for the plan) ,she comes to MC mansion on the same day! So no going into hiding after an assassination attempt. Following logic, there should be an investigation to find to attackers. But she just travel across the city to MC house wih only 4 guards. No logic. I don't know if the plot building gets better and im not gonna stick around to find out. Just my opinion.

too many Novels extra and authors pov copy are floating around webnovel. At least that is the first impression this gives. but i will rate this again after reading this. 5 star in advanced cause it aint easy to write a quality novel. i myself quit midway.

I'm going to give you an actual review, I've read all the chapters so far. It's .. OK , nothing ground breaking, but not bad either. IMO I feel as tho the pacing could be a little faster, & please stop the repetitions of scenes, you'll stay the same thing multiple times, one major thing .. it gets boring.To much info dumping, your action isn't enough & fairly less detailed than it should be, & Seriously the MC being low key is an annoying troupe, & really isn't necessary, truthfully most of these problems could be solved by him just showing his skills, but the "Peaceful life" bullsh** that he speaks is stupidity, you can have a peaceful life , in a world without magic, let alone one with it. This could be better & I hope it does get better

After reading the first 30ish chapters I can say that this book is good and has the potential to grow. The MC is smart and because of his knowledge of the cliches of a fantasy novels he is able to use it to his advantage. Writing Quality is good with almost no grammatical errors. Stabilty of Updates will keep you reading almost everyday. Story Development isn't rushed and has resonable pacing. Character design so far is good World Background follows mostly the same concept as other fantasy novels 8.5/10 for me I sincerely hope, that the quality won't decreas but rather keeps growing overtime

Straight up insulting. Another story that is dragged down by the main character. He reincarnates and fails to be genre savvy instead spending wasting their time (and ours) by hiding their power. They join an academy to learn magic and then intentionally flub things to not be noticed. I enjoy this genre and adjacent ones however every enjoyable aspect of the genre is lost by the main character's stupidity. Their attempts at avoiding cliches introduced the ones that waste the reader's time and money the most. Pointlessly hiding power drags out the story instead of diving into the parts that make stories like this enjoyable. Social interactions, world building, the power system, and playing into the MC being genre savvy are what normally make stories like this enjoyable. This story fails on all of these points. Time skipped five years instead of any interaction that proves the MC cares for their parents/family. I don't have an issue with revealing the reincarnation but it isn't exactly in line with the way the MC is presented. A princess is attacked manipulated and taken advantage of and it is all brushed off. Forcing a garbage plotline to occur accurately when events went off rails literally years prior makes no sense. The MC is written as an author of the novel genre they are in, proofread the initial work, failed to identify it despite their sister being a major character with a very obvious name, and flips between eight grader syndrome and cold calculated mastermind. The character acts against the information given about them every time they aren't monologuing. Forced myself to read through most of the free chapters. I kept hoping the MC would actually do something to make the story interesting. They did not.

i would say that this story is mid at best. some parts are just downright weird and are way too convenient for the mc.

All I'll say is that this novel seems to be perfect in all aspects(except the fact that I want mc to be stronger than Leon). The writing quality is pretty good, the world background albeit not explained in detail is still pretty decent. I like how not every other guy in here is an annoying guy who just tries to kill mc for no reason. I also appreciate the fact how mc is actually able to keep his powers hidden. Usually in other novel, even if the mc is meant to hide his powers, he ends up revealing it to a bunch of people(often girls) as soon as he physically can even though it's against his goal. So.. yeah just give this novel a go!

It starts off pretty alright in terms of concept but for me and a lot of people it soon turns into a bunch of cliches with MC acting weak. MC not being believed. MC saying he wants a peaceful life. and some of these feel forced which makes it even worse. On a positive note there is no super long drawn out revenge for the MC to get.

6 year after reincarnation as nobel(age =15) he doesn't know his city name or country name or any other noble family name.. worst thing some nobel young master forced his sister to marry and his family distruction and mc planned to deal with them but the point is he didn't even know their name or their family name (he didn't even ask anyone) and he doesn't even know that he is in noble even with that villain family and his sisters are major characters of story and more worse thing is he keep denying the possibility and never even try to find out and also he never call his parents mother or father cause he thinks it is weird(even after 6 years)... this much bs is just from first 20 chapter and I read comments that it gets worse ... still 4 star for trying but sorry this novel is boring with very illogical thing happening and mc is stuupid with useless information but no actuall information which we needed....

At first it was going nice, mc was progressing steadily and all but his thought process in the academy arc was messed up. Trying to get his sister to pretend to date the original novel’s mc. Couldn’t continue, stopped at 60ish chapters.

The story is ok i guess the only problem is the MC is a chunni and no very smart 😕. If you like that kind of MC is very well done.

Love it, I hope this novel keep going on , and won’t drop in middle , I want more chapters of it, , the authors pov novel is also ending , on last volume , hope your work reaches its level or surpasses it, good luck

I genuinely find it extremely difficult to come up with anything unique or enjoyable about this novel. Every single character is either one dimensional or just unlikable. Mc's dad is just a doting father who gets shrugged off every scene he's in, Mc himself is just some psychopathic loser whose actions make no sense whatsoever. He likes torturing people for some reason which has still not been explained at ch 60 and he has just remained so unbelievably unlikable. Why is he hiding his power I literally can't fathom it there is not a single valid reason to do so if he wants to actually get strong. There is so much more to talk about but bottom line, any metric you can think of rating this novel with does not go over 3/5

The story is really good actually however the grammar can just be downright awful sometimes and the fight scenes are incredibly boring after a while bcuz they take several chapters and the names just randomly seem to get mixed up sometimes. Overall pretty good but authors POV is better for people who notice grammar mistakes and mald / get angry. Nice book still!

it's good you should try reading it once but I think the author should give more bloody scenes then it is fun the rest is good and all but I am a fan of killing and stuff so I would like that more

After reading all the chapters so far I can say that I like this novel, okay it's not new with the concept of "ohh I know this story, it's the novel that read, or write, like Author's POV or Novel's Extra and others.... but I like it, the story is interesting, the mystery about the mc's past is intriguing and I want to know the rest and hope that the novel will continue. is only based on my personal opinion, I know nothing about writing or world Background or what you want. Spoiler Warning!!! Question for the author : the passage where the mc saves Ellyn from the 3 jealous girls by trapping them and blackmails Ellyn with her past reminds me of ayanokoji in Classroom of the elite, I don't know if the author does it on purpose or It was done unconsciously but being a fan of the novel it made me laugh.
